Thanks, made these changes plus some more that I got from a friend's dungeon. (Troll Guard was actually 91.) Just need the level for Hobgoblin guard - (possibly 42?) to complete the info. If someone can submit a quick-and-dirty JPG screenie of a Hobgoblin guard in someone's house, that would be great.

when using any type of search of a database, anywhere, it's important to use the *smallest* part of the name that will give a distinct result (don't type a word like "rune" on our main database unless you want to be miserable, lol). it's also a good idea not to use Capital Letters, as one never knows whether a search tool will be too sensitive to know that we meant "capital letters". (I've no idea if ours is, but it shouldn't be.) For Helm of Neitiznot, I'd probably type "Neit" or "tiz" or "not" (though "not" may turn up a lot of junk) and see what I get. Even "Helm of" would get you there. Sorry that we don't have more of the new God Wars items showing yet - since they are expensive and uncommon it's hard to get ahold of them for a thorough research job. Feel free to post in Website Updates and Corrections forum if you have one - a png of the item is great, and for the name and examine and stats pics, a jpg will do. I think the Ring of dueling has no stats, which may be why it's not listed here? Not sure. I'm sure the crewbies who identified the wieldable items will review to see if this should be included (if only to let you know that it has NO stat effects, assuming that is true.) As far as pictures, I think this is slated for a future update to this tool?

I like the article. I'm a mom and what I look for in a game (or toy when my child was young) is "play value" - how many times will my child return to play with this again? I got disgusted with games that were "beaten" in a day and were worthless afterward - selling them second-hand returned less than 1/3rd what I paid. Games like Zelda and Mario got played over and over again, even after the RPG storyline was "beaten", just for the heck of it and the fun of it. What does Tetris offer? Tetris is hypnotic and somehow draws one in, not unlike plain old Solitaire that comes with windows. I bought myself a Game Boy and the first game I got addicted to was Tetris. :o It appeals to a different side of the brain, with a different motive: bringing order out of chaos, feeling like one has control. Probably brings on a whole different brainwave pattern, a soothing one. (I checked wikipedia and someone actually did a medical study about brain function playing Tetris, lol!)

I recognise the value of your idea, and I did consider the financial implications of your previous post. However, I'd decided against it. Sorry I didn't explain, but it didn't appear to be your main point. I checked with a couple of folks, including a fellow who made several K of addy bolts a few weeks ago. He had a harrowing day trying to sell them. From all reports the price of bolts has fallen ever since crossbows were buffed (the day Mith dragons were released), and recovering money isn't really possible if you buy the bars. If you accumulate the ores yourself, then recovering cash isn't an issue and yeah the selling value (per bar used) is pretty good. But ... it's rather tenuous for a major guide when the prices could fall even lower? It's been suggested before that some calculators include a "materials cost" and "sale price" options (input by the user), so that profit or loss could be determined. I for one would LOVE that, it would be a great tool. However this requires some serious coding. The next best place for this tip would be in a money-making guide. There is at least one in the AOW and a few more in the Player Made Guides, so perhaps you could post there and in the AOW guide discussion topic(s) if bolts are not addressed already. Wow, thanks for posting this, I was unaware of it. If you could post a "buy price" list for me just to verify (selling 1, 2, 3) that would be super. Otherwise I'll try to get into game to verify but I don't know when I'll get there. Proof pics always receive guide credit, so the first person to post one (if jasquith doesn't get here first) can get credit as well. ;)

The amazing thing is that this forum survived the several months you were gone WITHOUT all of these daily complaints about trivialities. It would be nice if the forum staff could be left alone to concentrate on more important issues that actually affect multiple users in a serious way. Have you considered trying to limit your post count in this forum to once a week? That would be great.

The purpose of Off Topic is for ALL forum users to post things that are not about RS. I really wish that the OT regulars would be less annoyed when other users post. It's not a private forum, and it's not a debate forum - it's for everyone. I wish they would give OT a debate forum so that the "serious" threads that the regulars prefer would have their own place. Then EVERYONE ELSE who uses Tip.It forums would also have a place they can post Off-Topic items without being flamed to death.

You have provided some good wording here, and it will be added to the quest guide. The guide as a whole could use some punching up, so our quest editors will take a look at it. We do have a steady pile of inputs from users (not all of which are shown here), and do our best to get to them as quickly as possible. Rest assured that any post here gets read that day, even if we do not immediately respond. I have just in the last few days as I needed skull sceptre pieces for diary. I was wearing Ring of wealth, not sure if that helps. But I'm also P2P. You are F2P I take it? We need people to keep a *count* of how many kills they had - that helps to nail things down. It's very hard to *disprove* something, lol. Thanks for posting about it, hope some others post too. Be sure to state if you are F2P or P2P, and if you have a kill count recorded, that's even better.

Not sure where you are looking: I've checked our skill guide, our crafting calc and our planner and they all say 35 xp. Then I checked Jagex manual and it too says 35 xp. So it seems we all agree. Please post again if I've somehow missed your point.
