unstrung symbols
erm, you don't get xp for stringing jewelry, and strung and unstrung sell at the store for the same amount. A general store will give you at most 80gp (maybe 60gp?), and the price falls off quickly (I usually don't sell more than 5 at a time). The only advantage to stringing is that the store treats them as separate objects, so the first strung one will be bought at max price again. I use my Zamorak book to enchant unholy symbols to create third category for sale at the store. Definitely don't go to the monastery for enchanting after they are strung - the dialogue is at least 5 clicks for just ONE enchantment. Anyone with a Guthix or Saradomin prayer book can enchant for ya, although they'll get tired of it long before you run out of symbols. Basically what you have isn't worth much of anything - I've never seen anyone buy one, ever, except at Castle Wars to be turned into an animal in the wrong waiting room. Next time make tiaras - a tiny 2.5 more xp each, and you can use them with any talismans you find to earn some easy Runecrafting xp.

Legends quest question involving agility
Good info BoffoBoy. Those handholds have gotten the better of me more times than I care to tell. Just a little correction - the exit is in the northeast corner. I don't understand the part about clicking "move right". What do ya mean there?

Cshield.
um. I assume you are already aware that it degrades from 10/10 to 0/10 during the course of those 2500 hits, losing stats until it is a most feeble shield?

lost city of Zanaris or Monkey Madness
Lost City quest (for Zanaris) is far easier than Monkey Madness.

Regicide Help (Still Need Answers!!!) Please Hurry!
I was quite concerned when you said the guide states "56 agility highly preferred not needed." I went to the guide to see if it needs changing. Here's what the guide says under "Required:" That means that 56 agility is REQUIRED for the quest (or 53 with potions as several posters have stated.) An agility level of HIGHER than 56 is "preferred" because even at 56 agility players will fail the obstacles (I nearly died myself because I didn't know to click the leaf trap on the nearest side - which is why that info is now in the guide).

Perm mute?
I've seen at least one person posting on this forum who had been permanently muted over 8 months ago. A message from Jagex in the message center would tell a player if a mute is permanent or what. (As sheepdean said, an initial mute from a pmod in game is temporary - then Jagex staff reviews what occurred and determines what discipline will be applied.) I've heard from other people that they communicate with their muted friend via emoticons ... dunno how well that works, but it's pretty much all that's left.

shilo village quest
If you look on the world map you will see a large brown circular area (and a circle of rocks) on the river, southwest of the shipyard. The only two ways to the shipyard side of Karamja are by glider or by crossing a log. If you cross the log, just go south along the coast until you get to that area. If you take the glider (must have completed Grand Tree quest), head northwest to that same area on the river. There is a mini-pic of it on the quest guide map.

Shades of Mort'ton Quest QU'S
That 20% is sanctity, which increases as you work to build up the Temple. The hard part in this quest is finding a world where there's enough people on it to build the temple, which is why World 2 is suggested. If you run out of resources (supplies), you can fight off the attacking shades and still earn sanctity.

Choas Runes: Normal Altar or Abbys which is faster?
The only good thing about the Chaos temple is they put in a shortcut to get out (used to have to walk all the way back through). It is located just southeast of the crafting altar. It dumps you back into the wildy right next to the entry ruins, and then you slink (or run like anything) through 9 wildy levels back to Edgeville.

My Ip
You probably already know this stuff, but as a mom I can't help myself from putting in my two cents. Of course, we can see that you live in Atlanta from your profile/location. :D You might want to change that to "Southeast USA". That's close enough. The key here is not to give out your real name, especially your last name, your telephone number, and things like that. That kind of information makes it a lot easier to find you, and we don't want that. It's best not to even tell people what school you attend, where you work, your church, etc. If you have accidentally given out personal information like the above on the internet (not your IP), depending on what information it was, it may be important to tell your parents. They will be unhappy about it, but knowing may help them protect you. (My son was 15 when he unthinkingly gave his phone number to a "girl" he was chatting with. She called the next day. His stepmother answered. He was lucky it was really a girl! His stepmother grounded him from the computer for six months. He learned from the experience, though, and never did it again.) Stay safe. Hugs, pokemama

Enchant Onyx: Good Way to lvl Mage?
Victorkrum, I was as lost as you were. From what I've read here, they mean to go to the Mage Training Arena (which I have yet to visit). There is an enchantment room where you can cast this type of spell without having to supply your own Onyx. Of course, you don't get to keep the resulting item, but evidently you earn the magic xp.

Elven Town
If you mean the "crystal city" of Prifddinas on the north side of Tirannwn, yeah, future update. We haven't gotten in there yet. If you mean Lletya on the eastern side of Tirannwn, access is via the Mournings' End Part 1 quest.

why am i rat meat?
It's important to remember to focus on the quality of your posts, not the quantity. When people look too much at post count, they tend to start spamming topics with content-free posts (like "me, too") which clutter the forums and are not helpful. The other thing to keep in mind is that post counts were recently affected by archiving a *large* number of older topics, in order to keep the forum running smoothly. So someone with a very low post count may actually turn out to be a respected and active participant in the forum for years. Sooooo .... don't judge a user by his/her post count. ;)

how much does death talisman cost?
You probably don't need to bump your topic six minutes after you made it ;) I'm afraid I don't really understand your question, probably due to the fact that I haven't done MEII yet myself. However, from what I understand, the Death Talisman is a reward from that quest. It is also dropped by those monsters on the way to the temple (check Tip.It Bestiary, search on death talisman). I'm betting it's untradeable. And even if it were tradeable, you probably would not be allowed to use it until you completed the quest. Both of these statements are GUESSES - I'm not 100% sure. If you clarify your question with some more information, hopefully someone can help you better.

f2p new armor/minigame
Haven't heard anything about it yet, sorry. They use that "Behind the Scenes" notice to stir up excitement about planned updates for the month, but then we have to wait until the update actually happens. Keep watching the front page at runescape.com for the actual announcement.

Questions That Need To Be Answered...
Okay, keep in mind that I'm not a PKer and I'll try to supply a few tidbits about armor. Regular (metal) armour protects well against range, but increases your vulnerability to magic attacks (i.e., you are better off stripping when attacked by a mage). Ranger armour (leather or coloured dragonhide) protects well against magic, but does not protect against melee attacks (from warriors). Magic armor doesn't actually protect you from anything much, maybe magic I dunno, lol. Each of these armours obviously enhances your attack skill in that area. These types of stat effects can be seen in the Attack and Defense bonuses for each item, which hopefully are listed in Tip.It's Combat guide, Ranging Guide and Magic Guide. Another option to see the stats is to check DROOLMAN's forum topic "reference to equipable items" http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=315340 (be WARNED this topic has tons of graphics; loading it slows me down and I'm on cable modem). Regarding crush and all dat, I don't seem to see much difference between the different weapons, though I do sometimes think I see a difference when changing to a different attack *type* on a single weapon. The monk robes etc are used when you're planning to rely on protection prayers, such as battling metal dragons (bronze, iron, and steel) in Brimhaven's dungeon. Protection prayers only fend off half of player-versus-player damage in the wildy, so robes shouldn't be depended on there. Dunno what world is best for PK. I understood that most PKing is done on F2P simply for the larger number of victims, but of course loot is pretty scarce there. To look for a clan, try our clan forum. ;) And don't be shy about asking for help - it's fun for most players to hear from an old RSCer coming to RS2, and they'll be glad to advise you.

Are darts better than throwing nives?
This has been discussed recently in another topic http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=476411 There's no definitive answer - just opinions, some pros and cons.

Whic seeds should i keep?? TYVM DUDE =D
I edited out the seeds that you can throw away, lol (or save for a time when you are again interested in farming). Ranarr seeds are worth the most - I've heard anywhere from 8-15K. The snapdragon, kwuarm and irit seeds should be worth a little bit too, but I wouldn't expect any more than a few K. Poison ivy, cactus and mushroom seeds are relatively rare - on the other hand, since very few people get their farming up to these levels, there's not a huge demand for them. Find a buyer in the market forums here, or on the official forums. Your lower level herb seeds won't be worth terribly much - I've never seen anyone buy them. They would not be worth 1k each, as far as I know. Your higher level berries (jangerberry and whiteberries) might be worth a little bit - again, I've never seen anybody buy them. The lower ones (red, cadava and dwell) are like potatoes and onions - too plentiful and not worth anything IMHO.

big shark
It costs 5k to have it stuffed at the taxidermist in Canifis. And most construction players would give their right arms for this, as getting a "big" fish or another trophy from killing monsters can take *hundreds* of tries. If ya have the bank space, keep it to bask in the glory. Unfortunately, I'm told it's not tradeable. :(

Quest Help
If you've completed the quest or gotten help on steps that aren't included in the quest guide, please let us know so we can improve it. The Website Updates and Corrections forum http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=61 is specifically for collecting feedback on errors or improvements to the website pages (skill guides, quest guides, maps, calculators, etc.) The quests topic (for all but the very newest quests) is http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=222523 From where I'm sitting the guide looks adequate, but I did the quest a long time ago.

free limestone bricks?
http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=475268 tells where the handiest mine is and how to use chisel on limestone to make bricks. You can also purchase limestone bricks from the stonemason in Keldagrim, or from the Mort'ton General Store if you've treated the storekeeper with serum 207.

Resipe For Disaster: Awowogei help with nuts
I followed the Tip.It quest guide http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=134 to a T, except I think the game wouldn't let me get multiples of the items, and encountered no problems. You don't get nuts from a bush in this quest. And so on ... Hope this helps.

NEED HELP PLLLLEASE I WILL PAY YOU!!!
Oh, dear. I looked at the quest guide and I can see that you are correct - it is not giving enough explicit information. With the pendant equipped, go north from the main entrance chamber into the area with the skeletons. Go to the northeast passage and continue straight north. You will come to a little room with a lever (and a trapdoor). Approach carefully, and right click on the lever to search for traps (and disarm). Then pull the lever. This should allow you to enter the Fire Giant's lair to the west and continue with the quest. I've posted this information in the Website Updates and Corrections forum to be added to the quest guide. Please let us know if this does not help.

why do the monkeys run away?
Lord_K is correct. I can state with complete confidence that the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest is what changed killing monkeys. (Once upon a time you got bones.) As stated above, without the quest you must range or mage them. For the purpose of monkey madness and making greegrees, it is acceptable to bring EITHER bones OR a corpse - the greegree will be successful regardless.

Where do I buy climbing boots?
aglips is correct. You only need to complete Death Plateau quest, which only requires one fight with a level 5 (I think). To get climbing boots "[bleep]ed" for your own use (not Tenzing's) may involve a later quest ...
