Orge Composite Bow And Arrows
You need to have done the Big Chompy Bird Hunting quest to learn how to make the original Ogre arrows. You need to have done the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest to learn how to make Composite ogre bows and Brutal arrows. Check the Tip.It quest guides for more info, they should explain it step-by-step.

Questions about updates that I've missed
Approximately a thousand years ago - - you've been asleep for a long time. ;) joke Actually it was in Runescape Classic and as far as I know never existed in RS2, which is the current (3D) version that everyone plays. An artifact of the sleeping days is the inn upstairs in North Shilo Village, where you can buy a Paramaya (sp?) ticket allowing you to spend the night, lol.

Need help with MM quest!
The jungle demon fight area looks like a big square, with another smaller square cut out in the middle. When ranging or maging him, the old tip was to drag him around the center square until you were in a safe spot to mage/range from without him hitting you. Another poster tried to draw this in a topic http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=481906 I relied heavily on my 52 prayer, but since he hits with 2 types of attacks I still used a lot of food (82 combat at the time). He hits for 25-35, I believe. Ouch. The advice I've been seeing lately involves the small bridges that lead "away" from the arena. Supposedly you can stand out on them, and "let the gnomes do the fighting" (they hit the demon for 1s and 0s, which I'd think would take forever? and wouldn't he slowly heal before they could kill him?) Anyways, that's what people say. I don't see how bringing friends would help, honestly. Perhaps another poster can give you more advice.

New Members Guide
Bauke thanks for the confirm - I appreciate it. Gugge, good call on the Lumby bank - Recipe for Disaster. I'll add it. In another topic you also mentioned Boots of Lightness, which is also a VERY good idea and one of my favorites. I'll add that, too. moopymitchell182, running essence is a good idea for a quick newbie money maker, so I believe I will add that as well. Dunno how far I will get with listing the worlds, but I'll give it a shot. 66 = Airs, 91 = double nats; I have the laws world listed around here somewhere ... Hmm. Maybe this is a helpful guide to post the "official" worlds for certain activities, like 78 pest control, 1 and 2 for merchanting, etc?

Leftover quest items
You don't need the gas mask again, but I don't know how to re-obtain it - your call. The pebble can be re-obtained. You'll need one for Roving Elves quest, but if you are short on bank space now, drop it and get again later. (I dropped mine literally 7 hours before they released Roving Elves. Boy was I ticked.) Glarial's urn - dunno if this can be re-obtained, but you don't need it. Ice gloves are nice to have for Watchtower Quest but not required. If you do not have Family Crest or Klank's gauntlets, I recommend keeping these since they are a good melee glove. You can make an oily fishing rod any time so discard this unless you are particularly attached to eating lava eels, lol. The fishing contest pass cannot be re-obtained. Keep it if you like souvenirs, but you'll never need it again.

Which member's quests to do?
New members guide that will soon be posted on Tip.It website: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=317645 It tells some essential quests (Druidic Ritual for herblore, different quests to gain access to different areas), and also how to start each member skill (well, except Construction. Darn. Now I gotta add that. :P ) Hope it is of some help to you.

In the Dungeons of the Houses....
No. As long as you don't take anything off or put anything down (drop it), when you die you will end up outside the house with all of your possessions. Try not to get poisoned if you duel someone, though - there was an ugly scam running with that. People were getting "kicked" out of the house with low xp when they'd just gotten poisoned, and once outside they COULD die and lose all of their stuff (except the usual 3 items). A lot of people recommend just not taking more than 3 items to anyone's house, so that you don't risk losing stuff. It's good advice.

Iban's Staff Help
The Dark Mage is in the game to help people who *lose* their Iban staff (by death or dropping). Such a player would go into underground pass and kill Iban disciples (the guys in the red robes, whatever they are called) until he got a "broken" staff of Iban. Then he would pay the Dark Mage 200K to repair it. I dunno if he can charge a staff or not.

quick question
The name "amulet of glory" will have a number in parentheses next to it: either (4), (3), (2) or (1). That's how many charges remain on it. Sometimes people will buy or sell for less or more based on the number of charges. If you haven't done the hero's quest, you are gonna want to buy one fully charged. If you are lucky later, you might meet someone who will trade you a charged ammy for your uncharged one. Some people request a convenience fee for this, anywhere from 1-10K. If you can find someone to trade without a fee, then go for it. Obviously, don't ever give someone your ammy to charge it for you - you might never see it again. If they have done hero's, they should have charged ones in bank to trade you. ;)

Hero's Quest
1. You need herblore to make the stuff for the oily fishing rod. 2. Yes, you can use Greenman's ale to get your level high enough for it. :)

oil lamps?
First you need to talk to the Candle Seller next to the dungeon/cave entrance in Lumby swamps. He "teaches" you how to make lamps/lanterns (if you try before talking to him, the game says that you don't know how to make em.) Grab some swamp tar from nearby spawns while you are there. Then blow glass as needed, see crafting guide http://tip.it/runescape/?page=crafting_guide.htm#glass Lamp assembly and lighting, including making oil from swamp tar, is addressed in the firemaking guide http://tip.it/runescape/?page=firemakin ... m#Lanterns Finally, if you choose to make lanterns (sturdier and pretty much immune to going out), you can smith a lantern from one iron bar (lvl 26 smithing) or a bullseye lantern from one steel bar (lvl 49 smithing). You use these with specific glass parts to assemble. Hope this helps.

Am i bad?
If you posted a picture that was taken using an *illegal*third*party*client* (my words, lol), it would show telltale signs on your screenshots. The only client authorized by Jagex is the Runescape client downloadable at the official Runescape website. Tip.It does not authorize any third party (meaning non-Jagex) clients (interfaces offering features not available from a normal web browser, such as world changers or timers or whatever), nor forum discussion about them, at all. So ... I suggest not posting screenshots that were made while using a non-Jagex client. ;)

Help with Evil Dave please!
check your ingame quest guide - sometimes it indicates what the next step should be. I did this part of the quest already, but all I remember is following Tip.It's quest guide exactly. If you get totally desperate and run out of ideas, you might backtrack to Lumbridge castle and just kind of "run through" it all again ... ? (not saying this is the best idea, just a thought)

How to make a Wild Pie?
I'm pretty sure that the Fremennik Province (location of Rellekka, north of Seer's Village) has killable rabbits now. Miscellania and Etceteria (further north by boat, after completing Fremennik Trials quest) definitely have them.

Cooking gaunts
You get replacements with the same enchantment as your lost ones for FREE from Dimintheis (the father) in Varrock. If you decide that you want to change the enchantment to something else, go visit the brother with the desired skill (goldsmithing, cooking or magic) and pay him 25K to change them.

Wolfbone arrowtips?

Can't read two PMs.
This happened to me a little while back as well - no idea what it means. Soooo, I went to my outbox to find the message to Cameron and ... I can't open it either, lol. Maybe we simply choked the report response system?

is prayer worth it?
I recommend against it (although the protect item is not a bad concept). Prayer bumps your level up quite a bit, and you end up fighting people with way higher combat skills than you. Keep in mind that the protect prayers only protect 50% of damage from other players, unlike the full protection you get from NPCs. So prayer won't save your bacon in the wildy, much. If you want to do quests and don't wildy much, I'd recommend 43 prayer. But if you are making a PKer, I'd suggest avoiding it. Most PKers seem to follow this method.
