How do I make cinnamon?
Yes. But Jagex later thought of it too, so they fixed it so you can't do it anymore, lol.

recipe for disaster
Um, you may regret that. Kittens can't catch those rats for ... well, for anything, lol. It took a pal of mine THREE HOURS for his kitten to catch the rats, whereas my wily cat did it in 15 minutes. Changing an overgrown to wily so that it will catch rats is a rat pits miniquest thingie. However, I was sorry I did it because wily cats have these catfish whiskers that look really ugly. So my wily (overgrown) cat did become a hellcat during the recipe quest (I forget which hellcat name it got though).

What should I make?
Please don't bump topics here, you have already been answered. As it states in the Beginner's Guide, oak is considered the most cost effective material for leveling. However, if you have money to toss away go ahead and use teak and mahogany - it's really up to you.

advice: runescape naks up ur computer it has to mine
My computer hates runescape. But it's old (2002), 800 Mhz and only 125M RAM. So it's kinda inadequate to be running *any* game. I lock up and lose connection quite frequently. My browser doesn't close up while playing the game though. If your computer is *not* old, and has better specs than mine, you may have a virus or spyware on your comp slowing it down. Try running a virus program and a program that checks for spyware. Check Tip.It's Security Centre http://tip.it/runescape/?page=security_ ... m#computer for some sample program names that might help.

Too much gold
Gosh, I never even thought of making helmets or bowls (legends) from gold bars - way to think outside the box! So are you saying we get smithing xp for those two (since it's anvil and hammer) versus crafting xp? Kinda kewl, tho 50 xp for 3 bars pretty much stinks, heh. Yeah I don't think anyone buys gold bars, unless by some weird chance they have a ton of unused gems. Can't envision it. Too bad we can't smith gilded ...

bank trouble becoming f2p from p2p!
man that stinks. yeah, there's a guide on the forums http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=385861 about preparing to go f2p from p2p and how to erm, "work within" that bank limitation. It hinges around having multiples of the items you want to use while f2P, and being aware that yeah, you can't put anything in the bank that doesn't already have a slot. So the duplicates serve as placeholders. The author admitted that he accidentally withdrew ALL of his cash one day, losing that slot, so for the rest of his F2P time had to have a friend hold his money, lol. Erm just for the record your d long wasn't doing you any good on f2P anyways - if you attack something you are using your hands and feet. I know, I've tried it, heh. So in order to use what's left, buy a duplicate pick, and duplicate anything else that you still have a slot for, so that when you withdraw one you don't lose the slot. Hope ya get members back soon.

Fletching - The logs
Here's a friendly tip - don't fritter away your feathers on bronze arrows, they are kind of a waste of time. As other players said, you get quite a few arrow shafts from each log. Check the fletching calculator or to figure out how many arrow shafts u need to get your skill level up to fletching shortbows. Likewise to longbows. Then look at how many to oak. Start accumulating those logs NOW. I'd suggest only making arrows that you like to train with while you are at low levels, and bronze wouldn't normally be my choice ;). When you can fletch mithril arrows, those can be sold for a decent price (1k for 35-45K depending on how motivated the buyer is). Fletching bows doesn't get decently profitable until you hit yews, but I used to sell my strung oaks, willows and maples to the stores 5-10 at a time just to try to recover some cash, lol. BTW my new member's guide is hovering in the P2P forum http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=317645 and should be released on the Tip.It website soon. Hope it will help you.

What locale is this? pic included
Yes and it's accessed via Cabin Fever quest. Can buy pirate clothes there, among other things. And I *think* that this month's behind the scenes promised an expansion to this island, so getting that quest done may be a good idea. ;)

Where can I get Snapdragon?
 That would explain why I "suddenly" needed the extra unid bank space. Ahem, sorry.

Throwing Knives
Knives are great to train range and are highly recommended by most rangers. They are *very* fast so the low hits aren't terribly annoying. One cool part is that you can even fight dragons using them because they are one handed, so you can wield an antifire shield. (Not that I'd recommend this at range levels lower than 40 ;).) So yeah, don't be shy about your iron bars - go ahead and make them. I'd suggest making a small amount at first so you can see how they work. My son typically worked with around 3k of knives for training.

Linking an individual post
In my complex world of workarounds (which is how the space program gets anything done with obsolete equipment), I normally would search the poster's profile and find the specific post. Since this topic dates from last year that would be a bear. HOWEVER, while looking where your link sent me, I came across and unexpected clue. Your link was http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=336 ... c&start=75 Turns out the last digit is the post # in the thread. So if you fool with that, say to 80, then the page starts with post #80 (formerly the 5th post on that page). So fool with that and see if you can get what you want. Interesting topic btw ;)

abys crafting
Erm, if you want the *safest* method (preserving your stuff more than life and limb), don't bring your glory. Instead bring a ring of dueling which is cheaper to use. Most people go without armour so they don't risk losing it. Boots of lightness are good. When crafting is complete (using cheap hatchet or pick as stated above to get thru abyss traps), use your ring to tele to castle wars. Use bank chest to get your glory, tele to Edgeville. Deposit your glory and load up to go again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

latest f2p update
P2Pers should realize that although WE are used to seeing Behind the Scenes each month and know we must still wait, F2P gets an update approximately once every thousand years. For that reason they are not familiar with the announcement process, and have every reason to be excited. Please be *patient* with them. Thanks.

Blah.. Advice Needed >.<
My son has advised me that Tip.It's combat calculator is a good place to experiment with different skill values to see how they affect your overall combat level. He was looking into defense and prayer at the time, so trying the calculator should definitely help you see the impact.

Where can I get Snapdragon?
Well, I'm not sure that "monsters don't drop" is true anymore. A while back I suddenly needed a fourth slot for unid's in my bank. I recently got higher herblore and decided to test the four sets of unids. Three types I still couldn't id (lant, cad, and the other one), but I identified 8 snapdragons. Now herbs come ID'd from farming (and I didn't have the level to grow them anyways), and they are also already ID'd when obtained from the Agility arena. I didn't get anything I couldn't ID from Miscellania. Sooooooo .... I'm fairly certain they were monster drops. Is there any other way to get unid's?

Where can I get Snapdragon?
random monster drops and miscellania kingdom (ruling) would be my other suggestions ...

Cooking Spot
Fastest location in all RS is in the Rogues Den, where the fire and the bank (Emerald Benedict) are only steps apart. Yeah, it's not a range. But for cooking in the K quantities, I'm betting it's worth it.

slayer
I suggest Tip.It's slayer skill guide http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=slayer_guide.htm Go to Burthorpe to the easiest slayer master to test the waters slowly. That's all you need. The deal is that instead of trying to decide "gee, what monster should I train on today?", the slayer master assigns you X number of Y monsters to kill. While you train slayer, you are still training your combat in whatever way you select (aggressive, controlled, or whatever), so you're increasing more than one skill at the same time.

Anyone know a good way to get rid of...
Yes, the hi alch value is always equal to the max price a specialty store (such as the amulet guy) will pay. Since his offering price goes down as you sell to him, hi alching is the better way to get rid of them all at once, assuming you ignore the cost of the nature rune. Since he hardly ever has power ammies in stock (keeping the price at highest value), world hopping a few times should get rid of your excess pretty quickly.
