You can be Ash from pokemon. Someone did that at my friend's school and attracted a lot of attention LOL.
  2. http://board.muse.mu/showpost.php?p=30115&postcount=2 Someone posted 10 pages of sheet music. :)
  3. Legal or not, your college firewall is probably configured to block them anyways. (They use up bandwidth for "useless" things) The only legal ones I can think of are iTunes and Napster, since you have to pay for the songs. And if the band gives them out on their site, then they're free and legal also.
  4. This discussions has gotten so complicated that it's making my head spin.. Anyone else?
  5. Heh, I made this name up 6 years ago, in 6th grade. And I'm still using it in most online games. :)
  6. Really? Do I have to believe in a God to believe in order? I don't believe in God, but yet I don't go out and say "I'm going to kill that person. Who cares?" For a small percentage of people.. this is true. But not generally. True, we ARE accidents. Evolution is a series of accidents in DNA transcription. Maybe instead of putting a Guanine, the cell might have put an Adenine in its spot. The "proofreading" is extremely quick and accurate, but remember, accidents do happen. The resulting organism will have a "defect", which may or may not be beneficial; accidents = evolution. But also, you have to remember that the greatest inventions were accidents: dynamite, anesthesia... We are only little specs of dust, compared to the universe. Of course we will be forgotten. We are nothing. We live, we die.
  7. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 71_pf.html Unless you can prove to me he's married, I'm sticking to this.
  8. *barges into thread* I think that many atheists/agnostics (including me) would argue that there's nothing about a human that's fundamentally different from a plant or atom. I know you didn't really get to finish your argument, so I'll ask you: what makes you believe that a human isn't simply a collection of atoms? I agree. I'm going to go into DNA (since I'm going to be a biotech major). DNA of all creatures is similar and universal. It is all made up of the same four amino acids (Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine, Guanine). Though they are made up of the same four amino acids, they are put in different combinations; different combinations make different proteins, which in turn, creates diversity. We humans are simply a bunch of cells -- stuck together to form a body. Nothing more.
  9. Ew. Who'd want to marry him? Or have kids with him? :?

I hate that song. I don't know why you'd even want to know the name.
  11. actually, no you are both wrong. matter IS energy. e=mc^2. Energy = mass * speed of light ^2 It doesn't mean that matter is energy. :?
  12. It isn't matter, but ENERGY that cannot be created or destroyed. It can only be converted into another type of energy.
  13. I don't think so. I'm not sure why he even has a show, or why it hasn't been cancelled yet.
  14. I know English, Cantonese, Mandarin (not as well as canto), and Toisan (a countryside dialect of Canto). I also know a few random phrases from French. lol.
  15. I saw this on the news -- no one seems to be paying much attention to it; all the attention is still on the evacuees from Katrina. I hope the south east the best of luck. :)
  16. Okay well if we can do this in a mature fashion... No, I don't believe in a God. There may be a "higher power", but until I see him/her with my own eyes, I stick with my belief that there is no God. I'm an atheist, and I hate when preachy people. I hate people who use their faith to become "better" than others. I hate people who use their religion to put other people down. I hate people who use it to try to govern how someone else should live. And I definitely hate people that try to combine religion and state (unless of course, 100% of the people they are governing believe in the same ideals). But if you use your faith to enhance the lives of you and your family, then I don't mind. People should have the choice. I could talk on and on, but I won't do that. I've done it before and it's caused a lot of drama lol.
  17. Nope. I think I was one of those "lets go to school!" kids when I was little. lol.
  18. I love both. Let's try to narrow it down. I doubt I can do it though. Here are 5 candies that popped up in my head. 1. Now n Later - Ah, the 4th grade memories.. 2. What was the last cd you purchased? Facing New York (Self Titled) what was the last dvd you purchased. I don't think I've ever purchased a DVD; I'm not really a movie person. When did you last cry Cry? I have nothing to cry about. Probably when I was in elementary school (no, I'm not trying to sound tough). who was the last person you spoke to on the phone My mom. She called and told me to go home for dinner. :P when was your last holiday Labor day! 3 days ago. What was the last thing you ate Well I'm eating some chicken right now..
  20. Indeed there will be a practically invisible ipod soon :P And why do you refuse to buy an iPod? There must be a valid reason. I guess the iPod nano will replace the mini after a while? Apple Insider said that Apple were developing a version of the mini with a colour screen I'm assuming this is what the outcome is. lol I refuse to buy an apple products. And besides, you can get a better mp3 player for less money. :D
  21. I've never bought an xbox and I never will. My loyalty is with the playstation.
  22. I refuse to buy an iPod. And so, I will be boycotting this also. JOIN ME! Soon, it'll be iPod invisible-- so small, you can't even see it!
  23. Ah, I love those games. Monkey Island is also a good choice

Pff, zombies are way scarier than ghosts. Ghosts are for little children. 8) It's kinda tied here, I think. Ghostst are spooky, non-fleshy things. Zombies, on the other hand, are scary fleshy things. So, you can't fight ghosts back, but you could fight zombies back. However, zombies are freakin ugly and brutal. Ghosts are kind of slender, wispy things. I might have to agree with bubs though. There are ways to fight ghosts. Like Chinese ghost paper.
  25. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=peoples How did you get to posts on scapeboard? (well, it seemed like you meant you got on recently) I've been around. I just tend to stick to the ARENAscape boards. I never used to post in here
