Bubsa
Well, I've got a party coming up soon and it's fancy dress. Great I thought, but the problem is, there's no theme. So there's a massive choice to have. I have thought of: Your average Jedi Mr Powers Dr Evil Fat..erm..you know  This funny costume *Edit - Addition* The full monty man BUT one thing I really would love to go as is, Michael Knight. You know, the Hoff on Knight Rider with the talking car. Can anyone help me to locate this costume? I've tried google but no avail, anyone know what it consists of to detail? Please add any other suggestions you think would work. I'm around 6ft, medium length dark hair, quite tanned, good build...looking for friendship, maybe more. I cannot be: Batman or Robin Party Boy Pink Lady Fred Flintstone As I've been them all recently. Thanks in advance people! :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Barihawk
Indiana Jones 4 teh win! Of those, I would go as the Jedi. Mostly since of the choices that looks slightly less...wierd... My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Necromagus
Whatever you choose, remember that you're probably going to be in it for a few hours, and you might be expected to dance. Before you make a final decision, make sure it's comfortable and well ventilated. Having to scratch yourself all the time and smelling like you just got back from the gym are pretty big turn offs. Scruffy5389
Two words: Oompa Loompa. Of course he'd have to shrink by about 2 foot in order to do this. ...A common misconception. In fact, tall people dressing up as really short people is much easier than you might think, and funny in ways you wouldn't expect. What you do: Get a cardboard box. A big one. Paint it black, put it over your head so that it comes down to just above your waist, and cut some eye holes on it. Then draw/paint/paste some sort of face right on the box over your stomach. Next, take a long sleeve button-down shirt and stuff the sleeves with something. Put shorts around your knees, the shirt around your thighs, and tuck the sleeves into the shorts pockets. Since the shorts will probably fall down, just use safety pins to attach the shorts to the shirt, keep the sleeves in the pockets, etc. The whole shebang, excluding the box, will be held up by the shirt around your waist, so make sure you button it up as much as you can. Put on random shoes, and you're good to go. Having been in this costume, I can tell you that it is very restricting and can get a lil claustrophobic, but it is a great effect. Bending your knees makes it look like you have incredible waist flexibilty, tossing your feet around and learning to dance in costume is really funny looking. I wish I had pictures for you. People literally thought I was just some random little kid dressed up as a......box, maybe? Maybe this isn't the thing to wear to a big social thing, since your face is obscured, but I just thought that since we're talking about costumes, I'd throw that out there. Enjoy

ShakaKhan70
Maybe take something out of one of the Monty Python movies. The skinny old guy in the hole was funny, and all you would need is a long gray wig, but you'd also have to go around naked all night...
