hmm ive never done this quest before but i have never been pked before doing the abyss, just switch worlds and take peeks at the wilderness before you enter and you should be safe. but judging from your post you probably never been to the abyss before so your going to have to talk to the mage and do his mini quest.

safe if the other person is at full hp and hitting you high, if both of you are low then you have a better chance of winning if you just keep hitting until he starts to eat, then maybe out of luck you will start hitting high on him while he eats and ko him. farcasting never bothered me. pray if they do first, its usually better to smite though. also another reason why people complain about those 3 are because in rs1 you couldnt any of that, and rs1 pking was alot better, as long as the person calling you a safer isnt from rs1 then they dont really have a right to call you a safer.

im not even sure if they will extend the hiscores again, 1million seems like a good number and theres also a lunar spell called stat spy, i firmly believe that you have to earn the right to look at someones stats incase they want it private and if it was ever impressive they would have it above lvl 75 to be on the hiscores.

pure ess made autoers annoyed for awhile but in the long run it wasnt that great of a thing. pest control on a whole should of never existed. even though its still slightly over powered even now though the xp is like 2/3 of what it was before. id say its equal to current training but without food, but the old pest control pretty much ruined everything in rs.
