Rate the Reindeer Hat!!!(out of 10) *keep bumped*
The event wasn't as fun, imho, as last year's, and the scarf/hat combos were great - I wore a set pretty regularly until I got my bomber gear from Enlightened Journey. Doh! :wall: Just realized an xmas scarf might look cool with the bomber gear, now which one..??? But, I digress... The hat would be way cooler if there was some way to wear it and some other stuff and look like Bullwinkle or something... I give it 3/10. The tree, though, is pretty darn sweet, imho. I'll give that 7/10.

farming
I don't understand the folks that wait at patches, either. I find that if I work 4 patches at once, and work the bush patches in Rimmy (near the ol' homestead) and Ardougne, I stay plenty busy. I don't farm often, and I do it in a relatively noobish fashion (I so many low level seeds I can't bring myself to just drop), but when the mood strikes me to farm, I really enjoy. I also like the fact that it gives me an excuse to hit 3-4 banks and 3-4 different stores pretty regularly on every lap. Quite surprising the useful stuff you can pick up in the store on the cheap. \

Give a tip, take a tip !!!
A fair tip - not as uber cool as some of the others: If you're into farming at all, this goes for the farming stores, especially the one at Catherby. I like to stick my head in there when I'm in the neighborhood, and frequently pick up cabbage, onions, etc. that come in handy when I need to pay for stuff I'm growing myself.

people scared of p mods?
Why be nervous around us? You have no idea how much stuff I ignore because I understand the context of what was happening to someone when they said something a bit off color. I focus on the scammers, spammers, trust gamers and jerks - they are the ones, imho, that ruin the game for the rest of us. I don't think I've reported or muted someone that didn't flagrantly break the rules in the months I've been a pmod, and to be honest with you, the majority of pmods I've run into - before and after I've become one - have the same attitude towards the game. I get way more thank you's from other players when I've muted some obnoxious jerk and/or thief than negative comments. And I can't tell you how often I get approached by people with game questions or whatever. None of them were afraid of me. Don't be afraid of pmods, unless you're a scammer, spammer or jerk. We are just people that like to play RS like the rest of you. Sijan PS - I did discover something I thought was cool today - the joy of seeing a macroer log when I said something. Feel free to point one out and we can share the joy of them logging out together. :)

Player-Made 'Lookin' Good Guide' (Mix and Match here)
Let me see how this comes out... This may require a couple of attempts as my noobish powers are at their utmost level here... Bomber hat and jacket, camo pants, mime boots, leather gloves, power ammy just for fun. IMHO, my favorite costume I've ever put together. Have to love looking like a WWII pilot while you're wandering through a pseudo-medieval world fighting monsters and casting spells. Jake - Which gloves did you use for your bomber pic? Just curious.

~~Newer Bank Of Runescape~~ **Updated again 05/15/09**
Brilliant. Simply brilliant. One of the most, if not the most, well thought out, planned and presented ideas I've seen on these forums. Talk about an update that Jagex could implement that would actually IMPROVE game play...

Have you ever dropped/lost a Random Event item?
IMHO, it's a waste of space keeping all that stuff specifically because it's non-tradeable. It has no value, it doesn't look very good (mime is alright) and certainly offers no bonuses. Most of the holiday/random stuff is junk simply because you can't trade it. If I want/need any of it (which I doubt I ever will) I can just go to the toy-horse guy in Draynor or wait 5 mins for another random. Just my $.02, which I know isn't worth much. :)

POH Fun or Flop?
Love the skill and the little add ons I can put in. Really don't care for the cost. I spent about 500k on mine for level 46 (I'm a noob, I admit it) which blew about half my stash. When I have more spare change lying around (maybe I can find some lying around in my oak chairs or something) I will dive back into it. For now, I can't afford it, so I'm not training it.
-
so how much have u spent so far on construction?
about 500k, not counting the tele runes and duelling rings I've used, or the other stuff I already had (glass, seaweed, etc.). Level 46. I'd probably be higher level if I had gone for efficiency instead of trying to build a cool house with the best stuff I could put in it. Definitely the coolest skill to come out in awhile, imho.

you can now fletch and walk?
We've been able to fletch continuously while walking for months, and it's been in tip.it's skill guide for fletching at least that long. The thing is, you need to start walking before you start fletching. If you start fletching then walk, you stop fletching to walk. It was the only thing that kept me sane while walking over the p2p areas before my mage level was high enough to tele.

What's the meaning of your name?
Gz_Sijan: I've used Sijan for my online name for several years, mostly playing Tribes 1. The name comes Capt. Lance P. Sijan, USAF, only Medal of Honor winner to graduate from the US Air Force Academy. Google the name and read the citation. Impressive story, imho. Anyway, 'Sijan' was taken when I tried for it on RS, so I added the 'Gz' which is the initials of the first Tribes 1 clan I belonged to: Ground Zero. The friend that intro'd me to RS was in GZ with me - Valisse89 (R.I.P.).

New baked potato heals 22!
Best place to pick 'taters that I know of is the potato patch north of Ardougne North Bank. I don't think it's more than a 20 second walk from the bank to the patch's gate. And, there's a garden shop across the street so you can buy sacks to put them in. 27 sacks x 10 taters per sack = 270 taters per trip. Got to love it. :)
