  1. I dont know, the chatbox is about... 3 weeks (?) outdated, there is a new one with more then 6 lines. If anyone can find proof or a tutorial that looks like this one, you're welcome :-k
  2. I think this is a good idea, so you meen an index just like contests and battles, and the art bazaar? It would give me a place to place my photos, without keeping it bumped. I would say yes, it would give way more posts and CC then a normal Gallery would.
  3. Thats great, I heard some stories about 'Leaked' information, and now it has finally been released  Ive made my desicion, I go for the 60mm. They are both great lenses, but the 100mm is just a bit too expensive. And my dad might get the 60mm cheaper when he goes to America, with the ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì-$ difference.
  4. I guess Im not old school, but when I started there were no people called 'Looters'. The biggest wave of looters is gone though :-k (I started in 2004.)
  5. I'm moving this to The Art Bazaar, because this is a Personal Request. If you dont get alot of response there, you may try again here
  6. Its hard to choose. EF-S 60mm - EF 100mm - Cheaper - Bit more Expensive - Upgrade+Sell - Upgrade+No Sell And all the good reviews :? Anyways, Ive uploaded the Photographers List at the top of page 1.
  7. :) Dont forget to post your details like the ones at the first post (I should update it..)
  8. All of these photos are quite good for a beginner, but Ill give some CC. A small one, every photo must have a horizontal horizon. It gives the finishing touch to a photo, and it can be annoying for the viewer if it is not done right. One thing that counts for every photo: Time. When you go to the woods/beach in the morning or evening (I prefer evening), the light is much and much warmer then on a normal day. It gives the soul to a photo, in my opinion. But watch out with that, if you are too late in the evening you could get noise. Keep it up, I like the photos. For any more questions, use the Photography sticky and alot of people will help you out.
  9. easier, less hassle... and it works faster. woopidoo2: if you're going to get a macro pay a little extra and get this. http://www.fredmiranda.com/reviews/show ... t=2&page=1 And dont buy from amazon, you'll get better prices from http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ 60mm http://www.adorama.com/CA6028AFSU.html 100mm http://www.adorama.com/CA10028AFN.html But LP, 100mm is quite far from the subject. Couldnt this result in a blurred photo? or I have to use a tripod and a remote control :? Today Ive been at a Dirtbike circuit, made some great photos there. Im going to show them later though, this computer cant handle more photos.
  10. Love that intro solo, I just learned how to play it, lol... but isn't it "Afraid To Shoot Strangers"? whoops my fault. I think it was 3 am or so when I posted that... Just downloaded the song, its a great solo indeed =D> Im going to learn it on my guitar, it doesnt seem incredibly hard.
  11. Just wanted to show this video here, since this is the right place for it. I downloaded the whole song from video.google, but I didnt know this song was saparated at Youtube. Its a great song, called Get on Top by the Red hot chili peppers. Great bass, but the original is better ofcourse. The guitar solo is great also, a must watch for a (flea) fan.
  12. Because alot of questions were asked in a short period, the Gallery Mods have decided to make a Sticky where you can ask questions. Before you post here:  Have you used the 'Search Button' yet? Have you searched at search engines like Google yet? Have you checked The Gallery Rules, FAQ and Resources yet? When you are 100% sure you have tried it all, you can post here :) Other helpful guides: How-To Guide: Taking Screenshots & Posting Images Photoshop FAQ If you don't need any help, you can try to help others out with their questions. Please also post all requests for your pictures to be resized here.
  13. An exactly 1 year old bump :o -Locked, post at the sticky for more questions
  14. I am facing a dilemma, I dont know which lens I will buy. I want a Macro lens, and I have found these two: (I am not going to buy them at Amazon, just using that for the reviews:) Canon EF-S 60mm F2.8 Macro Lens EF-S 60mm Review or: Canon EF 50mm F1,4 USM I am about 80% sure that I want the EF-S 60mm one, but I can use that lens on the 20D, 300D, and the 350D (Mine) only. Like greenslime said, if I update I have to sell the lens again. On top of that, by the time I have to upgrade I would have used that lens so much that it would be worth the money. Who could advice me, who has one of these lenses?
  15. Sara, dont start a new thread with a question. I accepted that one about the tablet, but you have to use the Sticky for this one. Dont do it again, you seem to make the same mistake over and over again. -Locked.
  16. I suggest that you read something about photography first, and start with a compact camera. Need more replies people!
  17. If only Jagex knew about these 480 accounts... Or has someone told it yet?
  18. A good or a bad thing? It depends. If your grades are going up, it sure is a good thing. The same happened to me, good grades and Runescape dont go together in my case. Why spend that much time on a game if you are working for your future? And what if you have finished this year at school, and you passed with great grades. You will have a long vacation, summer vacation. If you want to play again, you cant because you sold all your stuff and then its a bad thing that you quit. You wish that you didnt sell it and gave it away, because you want to play again. My advice to you, stop playing but dont give anything away. Who knows if you are going to play again in a couple of months/years? And, you have to be strict to yourself. If you log in again, you might spend to much time again and stay in the circle. Good luck with your schoolyear, dont let Runescape fool you :)
  19. I have the coolest outfit. I admit, its not very new, but I did change my hair and top :)
  20. At that photo, I edited the hand out of the photo. about the half of the white piece at the right was covered by a hand :) And if I didnt center the photos, I could have had alot of space that had nothing to do with it, the cats were in the backyard. Thanks for your advice, also the rest of the posters :)
  21. Yesterday I went to a lady who has alot of cats, she breeds them and she sells them. (Some for over 500 Euros or 670 dollars) She heard that I like to make photos, so this would be a nice practice for me. She had cats that were 2 weeks old, but I only have one photo of those because they only slept :) Alot of these photos are manipulated, it just looks alot better with a bit of manipulation. These 10 are the best out of 80+. I would be greatful if you could tell me what I need to improve. [Original photo] ^ I was too lazy to search for a tutorial to do this, so I tried it myself. I do see some mistakes, like the orange dot at the left eye.^ [Original Photo] The upcoming 5 photos are unmanipulated. She said it would be great if I would come back in 4 weeks, because the small cats at the first photo will be at their best then. (Like running, playing, falling when they try to wash themselves, etc) Post away!
  22. I have a question, It seems like alot of photographers start taking HDR or High Dynamic Range photos. Ive Wiki'ed it and it looks cool, but how do I make them?
