Cat's Cradle was the first one I read, and the one I have read the most (5 times) :P . Normally either Cat's Cradle and Slaughterhouse Five are considered his best, they are at least the ones I see most people read. But yeah, it got me hooked on Vonnegut right away.

Have you read Player Piano? That was his first novel, and probably the most straight forward socio-political book. One of my favourites of his :D .

Yep, that is a pretty good one. I think Welcome to the Monkey House is the one that is a collection of short stories, and that was one of them. Or maybe it was in one of the opinion novels (not autobiographies supposedly, even though he gives his life story in them :P ). I haven't read Man Without a Country yet, which is his autobiography.

I've read 12 of his books, and loved almost everyone of them. Some were mediocre, but for the most part they were awesome.

It was alright, I didn't like it as much as some of the other episodes. The 300 spoof I didn't really think was all that great, but I loved the Mexicans :P .

I'm 20 also and made $14,000 last year, which I think is still under the poverty level. It sucks, but since I live with my parents rent/water/electric/food is all taken care of by just giving them $200 a month, which is a lot (a lot lot) cheaper than living somewhere else. I do pay for the internet ($45/month) which they mooch off of, but it's not enough to complain about considering how well I have it.

Not how I play, but that's the wonderful thing about the game, you can play however you choose. @rick: I never have used the console to transport anywhere (only used it twice when I was stuck inside rocks), but I am assuming the test area can be accessed by "coc toddtest"? That is what it was in Morrowind I think. I did try to teleport once by "coc anvil" (when I was one pound over limit and didn't want to come back for it :P ) but it just sent me to a black area that I couldn't move around in. So I don't know if change-over-cell works the same way here as in Morrowind.
