ive always wanted to see the goonies, never got around to it. eh, i think it will be ok in this topic. people who would answer that are already looking in this topic most likely. id have to go weekly, anywhere from 5 to 10. usually watch 3 or 4 at a time, then skip a few days or a day. hardly ever watch a movie once a day for a while in a row.

i touch the actual cage part, not just the out side cover, and i leave it plugged in. does that ground me? im not sure since the power cable has a ground on it. you leave it plugged in!!!!?!? :shock: That's the first thing, always unplug it i remeber reading somewhere with windows xp based computers you can add RAM while the computer is actually turned on and running. ive never really bothered to unplug the computers when i add stuff to them, ive added ram, hard drives (and remove and readd, many times) and ive been switching video cards around a lot lately. ive never had any problems.

ive never worried about static. and ive replace many parts, and never had any problems. the case is metal, and you most likely get grounded from that. upgrading ram is easy, all you do is plug it in. you dont even have to know what kind of ram to get, just go to the store and tell them what computer you got and they will give you the right stuff (assuming they know anything, most of them do). id definently get 256 more at least, id say just go get a stick of 512, that would give you 768. you can get by with a 1.7 processor.

i like tea, dont like coffee. get generic pepermint tea and add a bit of milk and a lot of sugar.

well i already wrote out three reviews that were long and probably boring to you all anyways, but good old firefox just closed for absolutly no reason at all. just gave me a read error and closed. didnt even give me time to click "ok" on the error message. bah anyways, heres the cliffs: watched "seven days in may" on tuesday, recommended if you liked "failsafe". i havent seen failsafe but i liked the book, so i figure id try seven days in may. not good. ends abruptly, didnt even know it was over until the end came on the screen. not recommended. immediatly followed by "logan's run". great movie. just awesome. and great. thats basically what i said in about 20 more sentences, but no one really reads all that. (i was looking for what episode of southpark spoofed this movie, because it was a funny episode too. thats when firefox crashed. i think it was 419 though because i liked the episode so much and i had looked up it a while ago before i knew about logans run) today i watched "oldboy" foriegn flick, definently got to change the settings from being dubbed in english to original korean and english subtitles. much better that way. great plot twist, great movie. good camera work. great movie. watch it now :evil:

never heard of you, but it sounds like you dont post in ot too much, and thats the only forum i frequent. i think this is the right forum for leaving/ coming back posts, but in this case i think he probably could have left it to just explaining on his suggestion thread. but its his choice i guess.

i would play some poker given the time was right, im a busy fellow :D . another good idea would to have a chess tournament, could set up a bracket and everything. i think most multiplayer chess applets let you choose who you play with, although i cant be positive.

google for all my searches, and deepdiscountdvd.com for my dvds. firefox is my webbrowser. gamefaqs.com for info about games. mountain dew is what i always drink. probably more of what your looking for is something like i always use quaker state motor oil for my car. thats pretty much it, other than that i mostly pick what i think is the best.

hah, i like reading these posts every october. usually brightens up my day. well anyways i live way to far off the road and to far in the coutnry to get trick or treaters, so i dont have to worry about that. if i did live in the city i probably wouldnt try to get rid of them either, id probably hand out the candy like a good citizen :P

black looks better, if i had a choice go with that. so, who cares? the black looks better. picking something just because everyone else picked the other one is imo worse than picking something just because everyone else did. make up your own mind. off topic: whats so great about the new ipod playing videos? the iAudio X5 has been able to do that for a while now. at the moment its big model is only 30 gig, but these have been out for a while. with the new pods coming out they will have to keep up.

these "worst movie" threads all end up the same. people say they hate popular movies just to be different or cool or something. they dont say the actuall worst movies they have seen, they say the movies they didnt care for that many, many other people liked. i think i said something like this in the last one of these topics, but i thought i would jsut say it again. anyways, the worst movie ive ever seen had to have been the langoliers. probably a halfway decent stephen king book, but the movie adaptaion sucked.

se7en was a good movie. me and my pals always make fun of pitt at the end though; the way he says "whats in the box" :lol: . its so funny how he says it.

just got back from gatlinburg, tennesee. thats a pretty fun place. stayed in a cabin in the woods for the last two days (thats why i havent been posting :twisted: ). not doing any more vacationing for a few years now :cry:

just watched good bye lenin (5 for $20 dvds at hollywood video, i would never buy used but it was a really good deal). i thought it was great. i havent watched many movies that had subtitles the whole time (passion of the christ, run lola run, and final fantasy 7 advent children) but that doesnt really bother you too much. i thought the plot behind the story was pertty cool, and i think it was filmed well. the politics are anti-capitalist and me being a capitalist kinda differed there, but i dont let that bother me anymore (way to many good movies that i wouldnt like anymore). definently worth seeing, its a lot better than most movies.

full settings on a computer are almost always better than looking than on the current console. only times it isnt is when a new console comes out, and for a little while after.

dreamcast came out before ps2, xbox and gamecube. somebody said that the one that comes out first usually sells the best. dreamcast came out first, most definently did not sell the best. follow it now? :D

you can turn off the roads setting. just used google earth to look at directions to somewhere. pretty handy tool to have :D
