  1. It's hopefully going to confuse a lot of people :D . Searching will probably find an answer quickly though. EDIT: Actually the google searches I tried aren't returning the answer, so someone will have to know this one :D .
  2. Pitfall is wrong! Wait for verification before posting.
  3. Well Dusty got there first so I'll guess his: Rome Total War EDIT: Here's mine:
  4. It's not quite as "smart" for lack of a better word as Borat, but if you enjoyed Borat you will definitely enjoy Brüno.
  5. This isn't the old man's fault. It is your fault for the ball going on his property. Revenge on him is idiocy because he did nothing wrong. He probably didn't even care that ball went onto his grass. What he cares about is the fact that you are irresponsible enough to let the ball go on his property. This time it went on the grass, but next time it could easily go through a window or break something else back there. Seriously, [bleep] you for thinking any of this is his fault. Also, he has to mow the grass sometime anyhow and the ball will be moved then.

I find the supreme being existing but not worshiping belief wrong, but the unsure Agnostics I just can't fault. 16. Yes -Did you belong to another belief, by choice or force, before following this belief? Yes -Did you personally research (as in personally in the first person) options before coming to this belief? Unsure how to answer, I didn't research other religions. I started to doubt god existed, then found theoretical physics and other sciences explained enough to fully believe a god/gods don't exist. 18. Is intelligence (not IQ, but actual intelligence) correlated to one's belief in a religion or non-religion? Keep in mind that intelligence can not be measured by any science, this is simply your judgment call. Yes, generally the more a person is taught about science the greater the chance that they will find that god(s) doesn't exist. For example in the US while 95% of people believe in a god or higher power only 51% of scientist do. You could argue that a majority of scientist still believe in a higher power, but there is definitely a correlation there. 19. Does religion, in your observation, do good in the world? Please list your experience with sexual education, including but not limited to: lectures by parents, schools, religion, or non-education. Please do not list your sexual experiences. This is sad, I learned mostly from the Internet (you know what the Internet is for). There was some education in school (I live in Indiana, an abstinence education state) but I don't even remember what education there was. My parents just asked me if they told me everything in school, and I said yes because I didn't want to talk to them about it. Religion class of course didn't teach anything. This is probably the biggest reason why I am so introverted, I am 22 and still haven't had anything close to a girlfriend. This is one of the biggest reasons I dislike religion. 24. Have you engaged in sexual intercourse of any kind? Please do not list your sexual experiences. A yes or no will suffice. No 25. What, in your opinion, defines "love?" I'm sure there is a certain chemical/mix of chemicals that the brain releases that is thought of as love. 26. Have you ever been in, or are now in, a relationship? No -Is sex involved? N/A 27. 7. The cheap Blu-ray players may not be profile 2.0. £150 is around $242US, you can find stand alone players for around $200 here. If you just want a BD-ROM drive for your computer (can play movies too of course) you can get one for as cheap as $80. If your computer is good enough and you have it hooked up to a TV that isn't a bad way to go. I'm not worried about a price drop on the PS3 because I already got one. I probably should have waited, I just really wanted to see Firefly on Blu-ray, and it is a good Blu-ray player. I just wish games weren't so expensive, I would like to be able to get one :) .
  8. People float because they are mostly water. Have you ever tried walking in more than a few feet of water? It's extremely hard. A little current and you aren't going to go anywhere else but with the current.
  9. Brüno - Freaking hilarious! An older couple actually walked out the theater 10 minutes in :) .
  10. Your milk comes in bags!
  11. No, which is why I thought it stupid he brought it up, and it was even worse when he got it wrong also.
  12. If you are going to complain about how it is written, you could at least get it right: inFAMOUS.
  13. Hmm, that does seem like a good idea.
  14. While other type of zombies are arguable to say they could exist (not many), Romero/WWZ zombies I can definitely say they will NEVER exist. The law of the conservation of energy as well as a basic understanding of how the human body, or any machine for that matter, works is all that you really need to prove they can't exist.
  15. Like the Claire/Elle combo? If yes, then you will love these pictures:
  16. Bioware RPG generally equals awesome. I'm torn between getting this on PC and PS3, I've never had to make this decision before when getting a game. I didn't really ever bother with mods for NWN, so the PC advantage isn't really there this time. Also multiplayer on PS3 would be easier. But for PS3 I have to pay for it before getting to play it once (PC I download, play the game once and if I like it I buy it). Decisions decisions.
  17. Most of the people who proclaim religious freedom in the US really mean "freedom to follow my religion, and screw all the others".
  18. Not even a hundred years ago here in the US. My grandfather's dad died when he was 11, so he quit school and took over the farm then to provide for his mother and sisters. And he knew how to do everything already since he had been doing it since he was even younger. This was 1928 too, and you all know what happened the year after that.
  19. Kristen Bell is one of my two favourite actresses (other being Mila Kunis), neither are my favourite for their acting ability which is just good, but more for the characters they play. Plus they are hot.
  20. I was going to post a jumping the shark pic but then I got distracted.
  21. If someone is threatening me with an overwhelming force I will just claim to be whatever religion they want me to be. As an atheist I have no qualms about lying to stay alive :D .
  22. District 9 has a fairly new director, a new writer, and a fairly unknown cast, so I think it could be pretty interesting. Peter Jackson being involved always helps but I imagine he was mostly worried about creating Lovely Bones at the time this was being made.
  23. I got to see fireworks tonight! Went to a local show, it was the last show I went to about 10 years ago. It seemed a lot longer and better back then. Still pretty fun though.
  24. There are a few out this year already that I was looking forward to, but no need to put them here. So here we go: Brüno - It's been edited twice now, once to make it more gay friendly (even though the movie is about making heterosexual homophobes uncomfortable) and then again to get rid of a Michael Jackson joke. Should boycott it until DVD just for the censorship, but I still really want to see it. Funny People - Could be pretty hilarious, this one I might wait for the DVD though. Apatow, Sandler, Schwartzman, and many others. Bakjwi - I've still only seen two Chan-wook Park movies, loving the first one I saw (Oldboy), finding the second one just interesting (I'm a Cyborg, but that's OK). This one is following the vampire craze, still could be good though. Distric 9 - First saw the preview for this months ago, I think before seeing Push. For some reason at that time I got it in my head that this was a Danny Boyle film, and I've been telling everyone that ever since. Just checked it out though and Danny Boyle has absolutely nothing to do with this that I can tell. So who knows where that came from, anyhow I am still really looking forward to it. Gake no ue no Ponyo - Hayao Miyazaki has been hit and miss for me, but more hit so I am kind of looking forward to this one also. Don't usually care for English dubbing, but it is the only option if I want to see it in theaters. Inglourious Basterds - You all know about this one already. Extract - All I should have to say is Mike Judge. But I might as well name drop a few more: Mila Kunis, Jason Bateman and Kristen Wiig. 9 - First saw the preview for this about a year ago I think. Looked pretty awesome, has a pretty good voice cast so here's hoping. Director and Writer are both fairly new though. Pandorum - Could turn out to be generic horror, could turn out to be a copy of Event Horizon, but then again it could be good. Probably will wait for DVD on this one though too just because of not knowing. Zombieland - Bill Murray and Amber Heard, plus zombies. Yeah, this is going to be great. Sherlock Holmes - RDJ and Guy Ritchie, neither have disappointed yet. EDIT: Looking back over the topic I missed two: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus because it wasn't on the previews part of IMDb, and The Road because I just missed it. IDP is Terry Gilliam, and even though I didn't like the last movie of his I saw at all (Tideland) I have still liked most of what I have seen. The Road I want to see, but as soon as you put post-apocalyptic in a description I am there anyways.
  25. It is pretty funny, as a lot of other posts in this topic have been. About the kinetic weapons mentioned earlier, they won't happen in the near future for two main reasons: First, there is an international law against putting weapons in space. Second, it isn't cost effective. The amount of mass needed to actually cause nuclear level damage would take tens if not a hundred rocket launches/shuttle launches. That is just for the mass, you still need to figure out a way to deploy it at an angle to the earth so that it doesn't burn up in the atmosphere, and do it in a way so that no corrections need to be made after initial firing (since the mass would be too great to change direction in the amount of time given). While dealing with that angle you have to have some sort of accuracy with hitting the target on the ground also.
