The people who produced this were brilliant. No matter how horrible they make this, the desperate, tasteless tweens that are their target audience will still eat it up. And what better way to get publicity than to make it so bad that it's meme-worthy? Trolls are getting predictable.

Meh, what was Jagex thinking with that skull. Now you're required to have this item to mage stake because there's NO way of stopping your opponents from using it, and thus most will use it. This thing needs to consume special attack energy and be considered as a special attack. -
So, are these drops very rare like 100 silver ores from abyssal demons, or like rune bars/dragonstones from TDs?

It's because in the code the leaves are constantly checking to see weather or not they are supported by a trunk. There's actually a mod to disable leaf decay, if you don't mind clearing leaves as opposed to [cabbage]ty FPS.

I got my torstols at 36k ea months ago. After bxpw was announced torstols were what, 80k+? So yeah I saved heaps on 99. And I have 1000+ ovls to use at Nex. -

From the looks of it this series is going to be a 7 parter (assuming they keep doing 2 machines per quest from now on). EWV - Astral, and then Nature. Already doors there to foreshadow this. EWVI - Death, and then Law. There's another door at the end of the hallway which will probably lead to the next area containing these machines. EWVII/EWVIII? - Blood and then Soul. Possibly seperate quests for blood and soul, because the first two had their own, and especially since soul is likely to be the machine that finally, truly revives the apprentice, and will be mad complicated (body x5 anyone??)

This is the smithing update they promised us 1 YEAR ago? The smithing update that I trained to 99 for? Wow... more training methods. That would be great, if the skill was actually useful. But it's not. It hasn't been for many, many years. Not at any level. Mind you, I don't expect them to make every skill useful in some way (I'm looking at you, firemaking) but smithing is one I would expect to have some decent untradable rewards. HP boosting armor anyone? Oh, no, nevermind. We can't have that. You have to spend 2+ bil if you want that trololo

Well, then some people just get annoyed way too easily. How long has the term "unbuyable" been associated with sudden price hikes? 3 years? People are bound to make that mistake. It would be nice if people could just be forgiving and overlook such mistakes. And I don't buy the whole idea that bladewing had no idea what I meant, unless he really wasn't thinking. Because unless I and all the other people using that word had our heads buried in the sand for the past month, it's blatantly obvious to all involved that nothing is truly "unbuyable" anymore. And again, let me restate my original point in words that will this time hopefully be understood, my concern is the prolonged period of higher prices, not that I can't get goods at lower prices before the weekend. If we only had one week's notice, I would guess that we would see ~5 days of higher prices and a crash mabye a day before, rather than 2-3 weeks of insane prices and a crash 3-4 days before.

If you had just written something like "Items aren't unbuyable anymore :wink:", I probably would have just said "Oh, my bad". But you had to go TYPE IN ALL CAPS, and tell me to THINK BEFORE I POST. I have no respect for people with such little respect and patience for anyone else... And by the way - and I can't believe you didn't get this from my original post, because despite the one word difference I thought I was pretty clear on this - my complaint was that we have to endure 3 weeks of high prices. Not that we have high prices. Of course prices are going to double since xp doubles, that's obvious. The point is that if you're going to buy anything in the next 3 weeks, you pretty much HAVE to save it for bonus exp weekend, or you're paying double for training. And by the way, if you don't mind being an ass, then I can only assume that means you like this kind of confrontation, which by definition makes you a troll. I suppose I should just ignore your assery from now on. I should have ignored you in the first place, but I guess I have too much respect for people like you, because I give you the benefit of the doubt.

I meant to say "exorbitantly priced". You think I'm so dumb I don't grasp the concept that items are no longer unbuyable? Just a wrong choice of words. Hey, and you know what? How about you think about how much of an ass you'll sound like before you post. Shouldn't that enter into the thought process just as readily as correcting simple mistakes?

The only thing I'm a bit peeved about is how early they're announcing this. It's almost 3 weeks before the weekend. That means 3 weeks of unbuyable resources. If they're going to have a bounus exp weekend, it should be announced at MOST one week in advance. The element of surprise keeps the economy from being [bleep]ed over for a whole month.

Sweet, good thing I decided to horde 1500 torstols and extreme sets for bonus exp weekend back when torstols were 36k each... prices are gonna be insane now. 99 herb here I come!

Aww, an update right as I finished my first proper mod. And guess what one of the things in it was? Sulfur veins near bedrock. And notch renamed sulfur back to gunpowder. [bleep]. I guess once they get MCP up and running again I'll find a way to generate niter deposits on cave walls and ceilings (not embedded in solid rock), add a proper sulfur item, and then make a recipe for gunpowder. Creepers don't provide nearly enough TNT to be viable for mining purposes...

Generally mob traps involve a large dark room where mobs can spawn, and 1-deep water channels that mobs can fall in and be carried to deathtraps of sorts - weather that be cacti, gravity, or lava. Mob spawns can be increased by eliminating all others places within the surrounding area that mobs can spawn in by planting torches.

In case anyone is interested: http://www.mediafire.com/?bngv93rw36f31py I fixed redstone unleashed. Pretty simple fix. So basically what it does is extends the range of redstone to infinity (within loaded chunks). You should probably limit yourself somewhat, though. I made a trail of redstone going all the way up my 450 block high tower, and the game froze for about 5 seconds when I flipped the switch. It reached all the way up though so I'm happy it works.

Holy speedy coding batman, the guy already fixed the lighting bug not 1 hour after I posted about it! Now all it needs is a higher render distance, and possibly stacked chunks for infinite height limit rather than simply stretching the chunks to 256, 512, 1028, 2056 etc (higher values make you run out of memory fast).

OH MY GOD A MOD THAT INCREASES HEIGHT LIMIT!!!! http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=178787 It supports up to 65k limit. Default setting is 512. This breaks most of my other mods, but I don't give a [cabbage]. This is the best mod ever made. Edit: Well it looks like at the moment it's not quite complete because lighting dosen't affect blocks above the normal height limit at all, eg torches don't work, overhanging blocks completely black out blocks below it, probably mobs won't spawn that height either. Still cool, and anyway it just came out and is only v0.1.

This. You may think you're tricking them, but if you fought someone paranoid like me he'd cover all the bases: full tribrid gear + dfs, pots, steel titan + scrolls, ect. You'd think most people would do that anyway when staking so much money... but I guess they just see lvl 70 and go herp derp easy win no way they'll try to trick me. -
