  1. Agreed. My first 99 skill will be firemaking, and it is so slow with willows. But fletching is such a quick level skill, you can't get bored with it. GOOD LUCK!!!
  2. I did too! I was like, "Why is the banker moving???" He shuffled towards the group of people at another banker, probably "following" someone who just came to him. I don't think that should happen either, looks terrible when one isn't looking straight. :wall:
  3. Plenty of people have been nailed with this scam. I almost was, good thing I was busy or I'd have lost my Drag Chain. But I'm sorry you lost your Whip. It's never fun to get scammed and lose something you worked for.
  4. I think it isn't actually a glitch or bug, since most gates you go through have that small hallway, then another gate. And I only had to answer a question after going through one, then the second. But I think you might be referring to when you go through both gates with no question. That's happened to me, and I think THAT is a glitch.
  5. I can't wait for a few scammers to start selling "RARE BLACK MASK, COMPLETE YOUR MASK SETS". No one really says "selling red h'ween mask" anymore. #-o
  6. Same, but this was while someone followed me. They kinda just shuffled their feet, then walked. :-s
  7. I really only agree on the Key idea. Like you can craft one out of gold, then it's only tradeable once, but it shouldn't turn to dust after it's used. You'd have to make more and more when people want to go to your place. On the Portal lock, I don't think there should be a option for everyone to go in. I myself don't feel comfortable when people just randomly come in when I'm there, and I think it'd be worse when they walk in when I'm not there. But letting friends in is fine with me if I'm not there. Unless they threw a huge party or something. Suprise parties!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Let's see... spell check, punctuation, using Square instead of sq. Plenty of things that can give you a response suited for someone older than 10. But personally, even if you did make it look better, I think you'd get the same exact answer no matter what. They probably get asked that 100 times a day, so why not make "We won't tell" sound more Runescapey?
  9. 1) Because it has runes in the game and most games I know of end with Scape. 2) Maybe because they are the hardest to catch irl. I don't see people catching sharks 24/7. 3) I'm wondering about that 1 too. There is no point to it. You should just be able to make a fire and give you some cooking xp, but it shouldn't be a skill. I just wonder about everything. Like why did they release Rubber Chickens or Phats? Like, why did they choose to give those out? I'm not saying like "Why did they give them out?", but "Why did they choose to give that certain item out? What drove them to pick that certain item?" #3 ~ Because I want my first 99 skill and firemaking is it. My question is how can we store 28 items in our pockets, which is sometimes covered with armor? We have no backpack, so it all goes in pockets. I've tried carrying 28 lobsters in my pockets, they definetly do't all fit!
  10. Well I have a little story with mine. So I just got about 7M from skilling, and decided to try merchanting. Found someone selling Full Veracs for about 300k under the average price. We trade, I only glance over the confirm screen, and BAM, no brassard, but another skirt. A 1.2M difference, in his behalf. So now I'm down 1.2M, I log and sleep it off, trying to figure out how I'll make that money back. So the next day, I decide to get flax and cut yews, so I can make yew longs and make back the money. I see a red dot when I'm walking back to Seers bank and see a small group of people booking it to the dot (booking it = running). As do I, and it was a drop, with lots of good stuff. I drop a few bowstrings, and try picking up the Whip, Mystic skirt, and drag square, but to no avail. After frantically looking for something, I click the Coins, since no one else had. BAM!!! 1532K is now in my inventory. I was so happy, I didn't have to fletch back any cash. At that moment, I knew if anything bad happened to me, unexpected, I will most likely make it all back in one quick drop. Hope you liked my story, and the 1.5M is the only drop from a person I've got. Maybe I'll get a phat and they won't PM me and I can't find their name.
  11. In the 90-100 bracket, got my name wrong. I might've misspelled it, who knows! illidan 98 vs gambling fol Should be Gamblingfool
  12. I read your last two posts, so C is fine. I myself think it is against the rules, as you are lying to them to get their stuff (same as scamming), not finding them and hunting them down to get their stuff, which is what I think the wild was created for: pvp. Not pvperson-who-was-minding-their-own-business-and-tricked-into-a-scam. Yes I hate the wild, but I've died there legitly so I was like, "Dang." If someone lied about something and killed me, I would be angry, they didn't use skill to kill me. Maybe the wild is about lying, but I'm not there enough to actually figure it out.
  13. Well since I turned 17 a bit ago, I've gotten a few "Why are you playing a game for kids?" My few responses are... "Well you wouldn't have this game if it wasn't from the Jagex team, who are all older than me yet enjoy the game as well." "Go make a new account and look at the age groups you can choose, kiddo." Sometimes I just ignore them or tell them I wasn't inside playing a game all day when I was 8, like you must be. But that's if I'm really angry at something or they keep bugging me. And you're definetly not too old, because if you were, then I am, but I enjoy this game way too much to quit from "old" age!
  14. I would hate to alch at the phat merchants. I would feel so down on how I can't afford it. :( I enjoy alching on popular worlds where there's a lot of people farming. I'm an alching farmer, and enjoy talking to people at the Catherby patch while getting ranarrs!
  15. I'm not a major fan of 2 handers in general since they are slow, and they only thing about the Drag 2h is the special. I haven't seen it personally, but I've seen the picture on the Special Attacks page in the Knowledge base. That's definetly worth the cash to do something like that!
  16. Well the new Slayer cave sounds nice, maybe "Barrows" boots? Also if The Beekeeper is a quest, that's another good one. But I'm really looking foward to if the Brewing game is a bust or gold. It really sounds lame to me. Maybe because it's main focus is alcohol (Against drinking). At least there are some other things to come in this update! :D
  17. To be on topic, the only pure I made was a defence pure, which was banned for an "offensive name". But he wore the highest level armor he could (got him to mith) and a wizard hat (g). I mined some iron on him of anyone was curious, I didn't get it from my main (Which has the same hat, it's a stylish hat  ). Now for off topic. That was below the belt. -.- +1 And really, why would it matter if they high level friends? I have a few higher level friends myself, but I woudln't call them to fight my battles. But that's my opinion, even if you can't win, if the arguement includes you alone, either try and win or walk away.
  18. Nice. I've never seen an actual Jagex Mod yet, makes me sad. :(
  19. Well, the first one is like, when you're sad, a raincloud will go above your head, like in cartoons. I guess it isn't stereotyping.
  20. Yea, maybe if one merchant stopped buying them, there might be some kind of domino effect and just crash party hats (UNLIKELY?!?!?) But I don't think they'll drop tons if anything like that would happen, some merchanters who couldn't afford it before now can, so then there would be more merchanters buying again, raising the price again. But I don't know what could happen, I'm not really good with predicting things. They wouldn't drop... they'd probably enter into a repeating cycle of small ups and downs, surrounded around a central, never-changing value. Well that's why there's an (UNLIKELY) after the crashing comment. The rest mostly agrees with what you said, more buyers would be able to come in, raise it, no more buyers, drops, more people can afford one, raises, ect.
  21. If anyone takes offense to the pictures I made, I'm sorry. Stereotyping is fun! OWNAGE PL0X?!?!?!1/!/1!??!??!!!11

  23. If they did that, then they better let you add more logs to a fire, so it doesn't go out. With my luck, after I get 99 fm, they'll release something like that or Firemake X. EASIER FM XP?!?!? And I never knew you could cook things in a fireplace. I wouldn't find that obvious because the only thing I'd cook on a fireplace is smores, and there are no smores in Runescape, so I never considered it. Good find or re-find.
