so how much have u spent so far on construction?
gamblingfool replied to Tbfgraphx14's topic in General Discussion
I'm pretty sure this was actually done before, just bumped off the page. Or it was on the RS forums. But I've spent maybe up to 2 mil TOPS, I really don't know, but I bought 2k oak logs for 280 each (when they were big...) and made them planks, and got rooms and everything. I'm spending another 5M to get to 70 though. So it'll be 7 mil sooner or later. :? -
Can Someone Tell me wheres world 126?
gamblingfool replied to Andreas_Ove's topic in General Discussion
Lol, they can't count to 126, but every number above that works. -
Pretty sure you can't make them. I think the clothes shop in Canifis sells slightly red boots and gloves.

You need to do the Horror From the Deep quest, then talk to the Lighthouse keeper and he will say he found this weird books. Since you have Sara pages, get the Sara book. Fill it with all the pages, and go back for another God's book.

No new quest. The Wise Old Man wanted riches and broke in. Now he's got a blue phat, and really nothing else is up.

Video of the attack glitch (not mine)
gamblingfool replied to Shadow93's topic in General Discussion
Aha little off topic, but I agree with you mostly except for one point. I skateboard also, and whenever I break a deck, it's out of enjoyment because it shows how hard I've been skating, it's almost like a 'level-up' to me. I've only broken 8 boards so far though.. On topic, Duriel > Everybody else. Normally it shows the effort you put into skating unless the deck's warped. I've broken 40+ decks, some on handrails. Trust me, the fall hurts and it's not enjoying. I dunno why you'd break a deck if you're having a good day or enjoying it. -

Well, to the "It's just a game" people, I'll bring in my sport. Skateboarding. I do it out of sole enjoyment. But if I'm skating hard, really putting in an effort, and my deck breaks, of course I'll be pissed. Same thing should go with the people who lost rares. They should DEFINETLY be pissed, they put in a major effort to get those items and now they're gone. If it's to the point that they want to quit, maybe they were saving it so they could get cash to actually work on skills. I've considered quitting skating after breaking decks, it's really frustrating. But skating makes me happy, like that person's rares made them happy for the work they put in getting it. I hope the abuser is perm banned, IP banned, and never allowed back. I would like to say that I probably would have done the same thing as him, and the punishment should all be the same. If he had found out he could do it, but didn't and reported it, then that's totally different. Haha, I'm done. 8-) -
oh look at that, 3 people are over half way to 99 con
gamblingfool replied to malo2's topic in General Discussion
I doon't think it's totally pointless. It's got unique points, like if you want to go somewhere and chill with some friends and play stupid games. I myself enjoyed finding the fairy in the "Hot Cold" dealio game. Plus it's super easy to level for a good 50+ points to your total. :D And I think it's terrible that Jagex based this on riches, they must've got tired of trying to figure out a good reason to release the skill so they just propped the prices for plank switching and watched the race blow by and money evaporate. -
Thank you Sirob, I've always been a fan of silver crafting myself. Edit: Except I just looked at the skill calc for it and Tiaras give 52.5 xp each craft, meaning I'd need almost 900 just for 60. Check your math maybe? Sorry, :(

A little montage I made with a pal of the glitches we found.

Still hoping someone could help. I've been trying to figure out the best way and nothing comes to mind.

Yup, you need at least 20, which is Rick. Then at 30, you can choose between a maid or cook, cook being the better choice. A butler is at 40, then the DEMON BUTLER at 50. He's awesome.

I am also a skiller, but I didn't make most of my money from the skills. I bought a red mask for 11.8M and sold it for full drag + a whip. When I had the red mask, I had an extra 12M in cash, so I could work on skills when I needed to. Had to add 7M (Ugh!!!!) for the full drag, and now with Construction and just random skills I'm down to 2.5M. It is a joy to walk around in full drag and a wiz hat (g) and get compliments. Also my bank value was 50M+ with the mask, and actually it's not much less now, 45M, I forgot the 128K willows for 99 fm. NICE?!??!

How often do YOU get the trade in wildy scam?
gamblingfool replied to hmmsk's topic in General Discussion
I got it once when I was selling my Full Rune (t). He wanted me to follow him as he walked, and I just ran around. The actual guy waiting was too far out and ran after me. Haha, they coulda got 2.9M cash and full rune (t), but they sucked. Yay! 8-) -
Yea, I haven't been assured buy a Jagex mod or anything yet, but everyone seems to say you need to fish for the "Big Bass" so she will stuff it.

Anyone else care to help?

Buidling the temple gives crafting xp? That's what I think you're gettin' at though.

Ma name: Gamblingfool And basically, I should come to this [garden tool]-down because I love you. But good luck man, hope everything works out. -
It does look very messed up, but I also can see the only man in a wooden village with a furnace which needs payment to use could have a large metal door. Some kinda bamboo frame? Which I hear is QUITE strong.

Dalcyte's guide to the best high alching places
gamblingfool replied to Dalcyte's topic in General Discussion
I usually high alch while farming, kill 2 birds with one stone basically. Also I noticed if you want major privacy but still be able to see what people say, Etceteria. I was out there for some odd reason and saw a guy alching. It must be so quiet there! -
Probably buying Full veracs for 200k under the average price. What I didn't know was that he switched the brassard for a skirt, and I was too excited to check the 2nd trade screen. Of course good luck struck when I found 1.5 mil from someone who must've died in Seers when I was making strings. :P

20 February 2006 - Updates, updates and more updates...
gamblingfool replied to Albosky's topic in General Discussion
Yea, and let's say you did get the d2h drop but just don't weild it, you'd have to book it to the Mage Arena bank OR get to whatever wild level it is when you can tele. By the time you'd reach either of those spots, it could have gone through 10 pker's inventories and still switching players. :? -
