Sy_Accursed Posted June 2, 2006 Share Posted June 2, 2006 Well I am at fish guild and this weird guy (who says he ahs 110mil but I doubt it) reckons the average lvl 90 member has 15mil. Now I and the others around the guild reckon this is wrong and the average lvl 90 is more in the 5 - 8mil range This average thouhg isn;t all monye it includes any valuble items (eg whips abrrows etc) Just wondered what you guys thought, I mean if the average lvl 90 has 15mil why doesn't everyone have guthans? bflitny1 Posted June 2, 2006 Share Posted June 2, 2006 I think that 15m estimate is actually quite good, at level 90 I had about 20m, but these days you see a lot of level 90's with full dragon and party hats, so that really affects the average. The reason a lot of them don't buy Guthans is because they want their money to grow, but if they bought Guthans, they would be losing money and the super rich want full dragon as a status symbol. People who hoard money = boring. well, depends on how you define hoarding, i am currently "hoarding" like 1.5mil cash lol... yeah i have some items in my bank i recently bought + the 600 magic logs in my bank should make me like 5mil? i guess? i forgot to mention the game is designed to be fun, yeah i love having $, it makes stuff easier but i dont say, im gonna merchant til i have 40mil cash, 100mil cash 2bil cash...definately not fun for me. Skill levellers who source all their own materials (like me) will tend to have a higher net worth than the more combat orientated players (stakers and pure pkers excepted). This is simply because of the value ofthe finished goods they have accumulated. The items I have that add up to 15 million - 2.5mill in cash, another mill sitting in my kingdom, a mage book (5mill), 200 4 dose prayer pots (2mill), zammy plate (1mill), 1.5k of yew longs (1.2mill), 15k of pure essence (1 mill), 5 sets of full rune (1mill), 1k bloods (800k) all made or collected by me - none of it bought !!! After giving more thought to this general area I would say average it is wrong as there seems to be 2 general trends people are either 'rich' to a degree of extremeness or 'poor' to an equal extreme. This would mean my average of 5mil is probably nearer but wouldn't truely represent the players I personal at lvl 91 have around 25mil worth in items, but I wouldn't of had them if I hadn't recently become a skiller. So maybe measuring these things on combat lvl is also wrong?
