An awesome article. I remember that one Dec. year when Santas were normally 600k, then went to 900k just on X mas. Lol, and right after I read the article, I checked the Rares forum on RS and the red masks jumped like 2 mil+. I'm so angry, I had to settle for 11.8 for one instead of the 8.7 I wanted yesterday... :x

That sucks that he's changing your pass over and over, hopefully you'll get it back! And that happened to me man. Except I never got my guy back. Right when the RS2 transfer items was stopped, I was about to give my account away to my pal. Before I gave him the pass, I decided against it, but wrote the pass down on a piece of paper. Dunno when, but whenever that friend came over, he found the paper, took it, and changed everything, the recovery words, pass, everything. I come back to the Runescape site about 4-6 months later, and find it's skills are a tad higher than when I left him. I looked for the piece of paper, but it was gone. I immediately called him, he confessed, said he was sorry, all that bs, but gave away my account! So after a few weeks of training my noob and sending querys, the account logs on, I yell at him, and he laughs. In the end, we raced to 90 combat (he was 80... one over what I left with) and I was like... 36. And I won, somehow, and much better than my old main. :D

Well you can't sign up for another task from the same master, I've tried that when I got 84 elves, and just being so lazy, I wanted another one. You have to go to the Burthrope master to change it, and it you're actually getting them from him the first time, no changing. I'd possibly say a bug, but I haven't expierenced it myself.

It's an open-ended question. A lot of the threads on here are questions in one way or another, like, "What do you think will happen with pking with the new monster update?" Most of the Help and Advice board questions have a definitive Yes or No answer, and that's the end of it. We can discuss this one further. It really belongs here, or the Discussions or suggestions board, but's it's not a HUGE problem. But yes, you could have searched for a very related topic. But on-topic, you are completely right, the old topic was arguing about scimmys or something, and how they are completely wrong.

Change the scimmy to a whip, I finally bought one again. :P Rune (t), it's seriously the best looking trim armor, but the God armors are pretty sweet too. Then the white accessories, plus a pirate hat. All you normal pirates... Just first mates and such. :D

Everyone who has played a fair share of Runescape can name 10 stories from the top of their head about the horrible RS community. My most recent was about 2 days ago, I was looking around the forums for full rune (t) sellers, made a post, and got a seller. I log to his world, and he's out at the Monastery. I was like, ok, and go over there the long way. Had about 1.6 mil on me (buying full white mystic as well). He tells me he forgot the helm in the bank, so I calmly said let's go to the bank. He starts walking, I run. Funny thing is, he had a lvl 93 mager sitting out there waiting in the worst spot. Like, not even in my path for Edge. Right when his pal doesn't get a chance to nail me, the seller logs and I bank and run back to the pker, with hoots and hollers about how he sucks at pking. :D

Yea, after I got scammed outta 1.6 mil, the next day I get my greatest luck with someone dying in Seers and I pick up her 1.5 mil geepees! :) And that's about it with finding things on the ground. :?

No offense to you at all, but how would you have gotten the money in the first place? 70 woodcut definetly doesn't equal 17 mil, nor 60+ fishing and cooking. Also, if you made maybe 2 mil, How the hell did you merchant (my guess) that to 17 in 3 months and still get skills up? :? But myself, the most I've had moneywise is 9.9 mil (SOO close to that 10M look), but that's because I had purchased items and things, which doesn't make the gp very relevant (More like 15+ mil with items). Pretty bad for a 91 combat... :(

Isn't the secret questions more of a recovery thing that defense? Or at least it's be the 3rd line, since they'd hack your pass, try and hack your bank pin, then your recovery details get the account back? I dunno, that's how I see the layout. But yea, if you're worried about the 3 day bank pin deletion, change the time limit for it. Make it a week.

Yea, I was actually talking to someone about selling my Pirate Hat (Hahaha, they jumped in prices, yay!) and he kept me on his Friends List, then accidentally sent me a message asking to return his pirate outfit so he could scam someone. Then he noticed I wasn't the right pm, said sorry, and I said "Yea, I'm sorry reporting you, peace." Then IGNORED. It has potential to become a big problem, even if the 2nd trade screen name is different. :?

I'm hoping for some more cool hats. I've always liked the cavs and my good 'ol Pirate hat, and some more would be awesome.

well, there is already 2 mauls and 2 whips, they might go the whole hog Wait, what's the other kind of whip? But I'd say dragon claws or something, Like it'd actually be the claws of the beast. :P Or drag 2h. The claws would seem less useful, which gives Jagex a greater reason to introduce it. :P

I have about 3-5 rl friends on Runescape who I talk to, all of them lower than me except for one who I just found out played. Most of them I talk to and help them train up their skills, while some of them are quiter than a mouse on Christmas. And I have made a few Runescape friends, and they rule. One of them even made a stats pure with me (not sharing, we both made one).

I'd say fishing because the spots actually change on you, and the random events are quicker. Like with fishing, when a fish steals your equipment and shoots it. As with woodcutting, if you keep cutting at an Ent, then he will break your axe. And woodcut spots don't exactly change, you have the set stumps of a tree. But the fishing spots are diverse, you might need to walk around to find one. So I'll go with fishing.

Well besides that the whip is P2P and should be in the P2P board... I love ma whip. And Usually I train controlled with it so my strength stays higher than atk and def. So it's all good. :D

All 3 full. Can't believe prices for pages are 200k now, I got all my zammys and sara's for no more than 600k and a full guthix for 200k. Crazy prices. :?

Really buying from other people doesn't make a profit, unless you find some extremely desperate sellers. But it is the extremely fast mage xp. Losing 100k to 500k is worth it to me. But I'd say the best way is to buy most of the supplies, then make the last yourself. Either buy 10k of everything and 9k nats, then make the nats, or cut 1k yews. I'm doing that with 10k supplies, cut 1k yews, and I should make a 280k profit or so. Not too bad.

Banning autoers and getting free money and phats is what the people want right now. :P On topic: Yea, I've never been to the KBD. Maybe if they released something he'd drop only, like something dragon related (him being a dragon and everything), then would I make a trip out there once.

Lol, that's happened to me. Except they thought 51 fletching meant 80, so I was supposed to fletch them a mage short. :? I just grabbed the one in my bank and walked around with it while she said, "0MG 0MG 8O FL3TCH 1 WAN7 UR MAG3 B0W!1!1!!!!1!!!!"

Seriously, 265 chaos and like 40 bloods? Stupid Jagex leading us off every which way and that. Punks. At least you got some crazy def levels! :shock:
