while thats probably true, one could also assume that being a woman in a man's body was also part of god's plan, if one believes that god made us who we are. he made all of us, not only the bodily-physical part. How would our views be distinguished if god made every part of us, including our conscious thought? It wouldn't imply the choice to do anything, and if god did give you contrasting mental thoughts to your physical body then he can't be "all loving" and "all knowing" because he would have to do the right thing by the person.

Whould you give up your right to vote for an Ipod?

If the question was changed to "if you had the supreme right to choose which party got into power, and assuming this a majority of the rest of the country would agree, would you?" we'd see less "1 vote doesn't matter" and have a more interesting debate. -
I'm not an expert on this matter, but does christianity abhor transexualism? I can only guess (not being a christian) that they would see it as insulting gods decision to make you a man. If it does then his dad isn't a bigot for not agreeing with the idea of his son wanting to become female, hes just been brought up that way and abides by the word of the church over the word of diversity. People need to understand that his dad probably grew up in a very strict way, homosexuals are enough to anger him (i'd expect) so his own son wanting something that goes against his religion would offend him. Personally, i'd say you need to talk to him about it in a calm way, telling him hes a bigot isn't going to help the matter and maybe you'll have to accept that what you want to do is against his idea of religion (or the style of religion he follows) and he'll never sway from that. I'm just going on assumptions about his character. He might also think this is a "stage" (assuming you're a teenager) that you'll get over and realise you don't want it for the rest of your life.

I like the way you changed from che guevara to the bnp so fast  The information has been slapped right in front of you. Vote conservative if you think the way you do,at least they have a chance of winning. The che guevara picture had a large cross through it, implying being anti guevara. Voting tory just because they have a higher amount of votes at the moment is stupid. -
It's good that your teacher challenges your ideas, it makes you think about what you believe and helps you think for yourself. When I did Modern Studies(which consists of politics) at high school, our teacher challenged our beliefs and views constantly no matter what they were and no matter how they reflected/conflicted with his own opinions, constantly playing devils advocate with us. What did was make us think for ourselves rather than doing what alot of people do - just blindly follow the beliefs of our families/parents. Challenging your opinion is very different from forcing a belief on you. Oh yes, i completely agree, its easy to believe something if you don't have anyone to challenge it. The world would be a horrible place if you weren't constantly challenged on your beliefs because so many ignorant people would live without realising facts. The people who say "you cant state views" you're probably in the stage of school where you learn english, maths, science etc. When you get to the higher echelons of school, taking the likes of philosophy, advanced history and politics teachers will teach opinions but when you answer they will either use their own beliefs to challenge those or just use the opposite opinion. This is only useful for people who are open to criticism and not for those small minded people who would ignore other peoples views. Insulting a teachers views by "walking out of the class" is a walk back to the past and ignorance.

A quotation from Mr Griffin sums up the BNP's stance: "We believe not just that our people are different from others, but that such genuine diversity is worth preserving. It is not a matter of ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâsuperiority̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ or ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâinferiority̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢." - Nick Griffin I'm not going to deny that the BNP used to be racist, but under Griffin in the past few years they have become an alternative to the main political parties who trade policies and brand anyone who doesn't want Britain overrun by immigrants racist. The latest immigration debate (last week) the main 3 parties said "we realise immigration is a problem and the people of Britain are concerned, but we're not going to have any real position on the matter because it will be seen as "racist"". It shows how scared the tories, labour and lib dems are of the matter when they didn't even invite the BNP to give an alternative, something mirrored by some of the phone ins. Racial seperation and racism are utterly different things, the BNP stands for diversity and allowing real freedom of speech, something you're obviously trying to squash with the PC garbage. http://www.bnp.org.uk/articles/countering_smears.html Visit there, i'm not flaming you for misunderstanding the BNP, the anti BNP mob is sizeable. You may have succeeded in removing the skinheads and outright racism and managed to hide it behind silk ties and suits but trust me, the organisation you support is STILL intrinsically racist and will always be so. The day the BNP is voted into power is the day I (White, english, middle class before you ask) leave. Hopefully every sensible person on this forum can see this organisation for what they are. EDIT - im sorry im sorry I just have to keep posting these, all have been copied and pasted direct from the website Asda were selling Halal meat on 6th November in the Colne Lancashire store. I have written a letter of complaint. Will let you know when I get a reply. oh no!!!! This truly is groundbreaking!!! What possible reasoning could this have rather then racism? I read an article in the daily mail last week nuff said societies which have become racially, religiously and culturally mixed have historically also been those in relative decline so, colour mixes = death of society now? Nice... EDIT - number two, the image page is even better! (I apologise that I have to post these images mods/admins, I'm sure you realise these are not my views and that it to show the idiocy of the BNP, please PM me a reason if you feel you must remove them) under the heading "the future of Europe - hopefully not!!" under the heading of "london returns the favour" (after the london underground transport bombs) All this from just their website. Time to re-evaluate your political views methinks? You seem to be mixing racial seperation to racism, they are entirely different entities, the BNP as a party is not racist, but the fact that the left wing + most newspapers bill them in that way attracts racists. I don't support racism and its a struggle for leaders such as Nick Griffin to attempt to rid the party of such people. By 2060 under current trends white people in britain are likely to become minorities in their own country, i don't want that to happen so im racist? Funnily enough i found something on "youtube" in which Mr Griffin talks about muslims, it isn't racist and i think he comes across well on the matter. Have a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjySWn40bXg Its probably better that, if you want to continue talking about the BNP to pm me, it spends a lot of forum space. -
My politics teacher was a stonewall communist, she probably grew up in the gulags or something because she constantly made references to communism and challenged me about my ideas on politics. It was funny for a while, and still is. Be pleased that your teacher has put an effort into his/her class, its better than one who couldn't care less.

Addressing violent crimes i don't believe "an eye for an eye" but i do think the death penalty should be inforced in Britain. Wasting tax payers money on upholding and building prisons that are going to be crowded isn't the best way to do things. I'd also deport any immigrants who committed violent actions and let their government deal with them, you should lose your rights to many things if you break the law. It shouldn't be upheld to defend the rights of the aggressor when there are so many examples of the persons family who got shot/murdered being angry with the loopholes and poor governing of criminals. Going back to an "eye for an eye", its a very old fashioned way of looking at things and i don't think its practical in todays western society, its the sort of thing that would be implimented in eastern countries.

I've yet to see or hear a Rowling fan make such an outrageous claim, in their defence. Tell me a book little kids have been more excited about in the past 10 years and i'll agree, or even looking at sales. I dont even like harry potter but as far as childrens literature is concerned shes the most successful of the past few years.
-
I don't think that's true. Kids would have just read something else. Like what? I can't imagine little kids queuing outside a book shop for the latest installment of many books other than harry potter.
-
Although i agree, from the perspective of Rowling fans she has almost single handedly introduced a generation of young people into reading who wouldn't have bothered otherwise.

This JK? http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2006/0 ... 14x650.jpg None of those are worthy of getting some "person of the year", although i think Hitler won times personality of the year in 1938 or something.

Crouch is the most underrated player in the history of football, hasn't he got the record for most england goals in a year? His record is brilliant for England, its a pity we have lazy players like Berbs at spurs, i wouldn't mind crouch in if we shipped off a few strikers!

I never check out updates unless they directly affect me, i play rs for the stuff thats already there. Unless the update coincides with my routine on rs i couldn't care less what jagex does. -
I prefer the computer to TV. I hate it when i dont have the computer but when i do i don't use it that much. Its more of a "if i have nothing to do i want to know i have the choice to use the computer".

Which accent would you go to the UK for? We have plenty. I'd go to Germany, never been.

Assuming everything would happen exactly the same i'd tell myself to put a bet on something i was sure to win, failing trying to be a smart arse i'd tell myself to not be an idiot to some people who are just trying to be friendly, spread the love, not in a hippy way. I'd have also got involved in the WN movement even sooner. :)

I'm going to a halloween party as a paedo, it'll involve a grey/white shirt, a shifty look and a packet of sweets. As the old chant goes "with a packet of sweets and a cheeky smile, arsene wenger is a paedophile".

Demonstrating your inability to read once again.. i said quite clearly "please pm me this" but your massive ego can't handle that eh? You have to try to get the last word even if it means breaking the rules of the forum and getting the thread locked. Bravo for being a selfish little child. I'll respond to you here because its more civilised, other people don't have to deal with you having a hissy fit. You're trying to tell me what i posted? I know what i posted and you interpreted it wrong, fair enough i'd let you get away with that but you're still being arrogant (theres that word again, its such a good one to describe you) that you think you know what i mean more than i do. Well heres a bit of truth, you don't. No, they were different points, i read earlier in your posts that you said you had acne, there we go, i find it hard to imagine that you're sad enough to read books about acne if you had never experienced it. If you do then i feel a bit sorry for you, but hey, i'm not going to judge you like you seem to judge me. Now this is an example of how you've flown off the handle and literally can't admit that you're wrong. You can't not be wrong but i haven't responded to you in a patronising way or anything. This whole argument stems from you misinterpreting me, i am the only person who knows exactly what i meant, not you. I have said that you've misinterpreted me but oh no, you can't let it go as a simple misunderstanding. You have to continue trying to tell me that you know what i mean and i don't. Erase the chip from your shoulder and apologise, i was perfectly happy for you to have a flame at me for not understanding my post but now you're just flaming me when i've told you how you didn't read my post right. Please don't respond today, wait till tomorrow if you haven't already run off in your hissy fit, because i find it hard to believe that anyone can be as volitile as you have just been. Its extremely disrespectful to someone else and i don't like to see it when i visit a forum. His pm. I'm surprised how idiotic that was, from your grammar i can tell you're quite clever, but you seem totally blind to possibly being wrong, or even apologising. I'm going to make a little assumption here, you crave the attention of an argument, you crave the sad little feeling inside that you're right and everyone else is wrong. Well i hate to throw reality on you but you can't always be right. And on this occasion you are wrong, you misinterpreted me on a 2 line post and attempted to force me to argue with you. I'm better than that which makes me better than you, better than your ignorance to other people. Good-day.
