  1. 1150 in f2p skills, but i haven't trained "skills" other than combat and rc for a good while.
  2. Its quite a dodgy area, it isn't your account to lose, its jagex's. I'm not sure if they lose their right to the items and members if they "steal" the account from you but i wouldn't use it until you were sure you won't get charged for using someone elses members, ie stealing their money.
  3. I don't actually expect jagex to impliment this, its more of a "if i were in charge this is what i'd do". This idea is really based on assuming jagex would trust a select few with the ability to temp ban, i dont see it happening because jagex don't trust anyone. Having said this i just read your thread and yours is about as unpractical as jagex giving us the power to perm ban anyone.
  4. I've always seen atheists as people who have "looked" for god, then decided its a load of bollocks and stamped "don't believe" on their forehead. I dont think this gives them the right to try to challenge religious people on their beliefs, exactly the same way i dont think anyone should have the right to challenge someone on their political beliefs because in the end, you can't prove either way a "correct" answer. I'm agnostic simply because i don't care enough about religion to look into it and become atheist, i'd rather look into things i can formulate a logical opinion about because religion is such a shady subject i'd never be able to make my mind up.
  5. oh ya...a few innocent people get banned. thats no big deal right? :wall: i mean what kind of sick logic is that? i would rather have a hundred criminals outside than have one innocent person in jail. p.s. when you said "banned" did you mean the three hour bans or the perm bans? because if it was a three hour thing then i take back what i said I referred to both. I wouldn't agree with that logic  I'm just taking into consideration jagex's customer support, using this idea would mean more autoers would be getting caught, i cant get rid of human error so obviously a few more honest players would get banned if this happens, i think its worth a few people to get runescape rid of autoers.
  6. I'm not directly relating to the actual gestapo, but the principle of having a few people in a position of power within a society (runescape) who are told about "enemies" of the state (autoers) could use that word validly. Its not like the word "gestapo" even needs to be used, it would be exactly the same with "anti macro" so if you want to comment against my idea at least have a reasonable reason instead of just stating one word you don't like the look of. I bet you didnt even read the post, just saw the title and posted.
  7. Thanks a lot for the support, i don't know if i'll bother with a list but its nice to know my idea is agreed to by somebody. If anyone disagrees or sees flaws in this i'll be happy to change/debate them, no theories are perfect so criticism would be welcomed.
  8. It just means secret police, its only being used as a reference to normal people having a position of power.
  9. After spending some time killing green dragons lately i've been pondering ways to get rid of macros from our game once and for all, the most logical way would be to have jagex mods standing around places banning suspicious looking people. This, of course is unpractical, so i propose to you, the honest member of runescape to install an "anti macro" team or unit if you will. There are many types of macros in runescape, but the ones i think this "macro gestapo" team would be effective against would be the ones in the wild killing green dragons for hides and bones. Of course reporting these obvious rule breakers is the way to get rid of them now but we all know jagex have to trawl through useless reports and often miss these. If my idea was used here are what the team would have in their arsenal: The ability to temp ban people for 3 hours, this, twinned with jagex customer support would check the bans and judge whether the offender was a macroer or an innocent player. The main flaw in this is the question "how do i know this is an autoer?", well deary, i have made a test: How to spot the autoer. If you think the subjects on the left and right of the shot are autoers/gold farmers then you'll be correct. How did i come to this conclusion? I'm not politically correct but it seems obvious to me that a vast majority of people killing green dragons in the wild with chinese sounding names, bald heads and the same 3 items (rune chain, legs and weapon) are autoers. Another way to detect the autoer is where they stand, i've been using the green dragons above the graveyard and most autoers stand in a similar spot. (below) which means they dont have to move or attack as the green dragons will be aggressive. The gold farmer is another kettle of fish and one i will address later. - Problems and a way to solve them. - I'm not saying all chinese sounding names with the same 3 items are autoers or gold farmers but anyone who isn't trying to be ridiculously PC would agree that if a member of this group temp bans 20 autoers at least 18 will be autoers. This would be a massive increase of these pests getting banned and would benefit the community immensely. I cannot stress the need for common sense if this were to be implimented, if someone does not fit the description above but look obviously like they are autoer, or are a gold farmer then the report button would be the best way to go. Power hungry people with the ability to temp ban: First of all i think this privilidge should only be given to people who have been playing runescape for a good amount of time, they must be active in killing green dragons because unlike mods, they need to be somewhere most of the time. (not all the time, no one kills green dragons all day, apart from autoers). Members of the "unit" would also only have the ability to temp ban 4 people an hour (a rough guess) to avoid abusing the system, and anyone who is caught abusing the temp ban ability would be banned from the game itself. Notes. The gold farmer. When i look at someone i'd not be able to tell if they're gold farming, the outfit and name could be a giveaway but considering there is someone at that computer they aren't breaking rules by killing dragons, and the real world item trading is another matter and not one i'm trying to solve with this. I don't think this is full-proof, many people will believe that this is a a brutal way of stopping autoers, but as a person who wants runescape back i think its worth it, if a few innocent people get banned its worth it in the long run, all we do in this purge of autoers is for the game we enjoy to play and it would be, in the end up to the jagex customer support to ban or leave the players playing. Mods. Jagex mods do not have the time or resources ingame to combat autoers well so this idea is one worth thinking about. Player moderators serve a small purpose and upgrading some of these to this new rank would be an idea, having said this i dont want this, if used to turn out the way player mods are, where they don't have to help people or do their job so they rarely do. The amount of people getting this rank would also be small, a select few would get the right because its a big undertaking. And one you would have to be active to do properly. Final thoughts. If this idea was used, it could be extended to other places autoers are thriving, popular woodcutting spots, other dragon enclosures and fishing spots. The same rules would apply and this would bring the message to the game that jagex, and the players want these aliens out of our game. This idea would be a large undertaking by jagex and the players they'd pick, it would be an example of jagex trusting their loyal players in cleaning runescape up for them and would install a sense of power that everyone can have in believing that they can make a difference by pointing out autoers to nearby "unit" members, because the report abuse button certainly isn't enough. If you've read this i congratulate you, you're already closer to improving runescape before the autoers win.
  10. I'm sure a link from the Catholic Apolgetics Society is going to be completley impartial when discussing things which they already beleive is - by divine word - wrong. Doesn't get away from the fact that they are..facts.
  11. Leader of a political party, better yet, the leader of a country. I'd have some good policies... 8-)
  12. If you're interested, heres an interesting page on homosexuality and some facts. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1502263/posts Before you imply that im a hater (which many narrow minded people will, these are facts, not my opinion".
  13. You'd be living in a country of idiots if they didnt take checking passengers seriously. They can check whoever the hell they like, they're trying to protect people like you who don't seem to want to draw a line on how intense checking any passenger is. I'd sure as hell rather the people at english airports checking me than if i got through without anyone being bothered. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't. If airport officials have their doubts about anyone then they have the right to check them as much as they like, its ludicrous people on this board who think the kid shouldn't have been checked.
  14. I dont see why there isn't a possibility that he was a terrorist. Maybe someone could have trapped explosives to him or something similar. I dont think some people realise how devious and underhanded some of these terrorists can be, they're perfectly happy killing innocent people so i dont think leading a small child to their death is something they wouldn't consider. Hey its better than not checking the kid and then having a story of a small child being a terrorist.
  15. Personally, i dont think there are many circumstances where a person could justify abortion. The old "i'm poor" scenario doesn't work with me, life isn't about money and life shouldn't be denied simply because someone doesn't want to work hard for the child they have created. Another big argument for abortion would be if someone was raped, i dont think thats the childs fault and the oppertunity of something good out of bad presents itself. Its typical capitalist society values when people would even want to deny life to a baby because they felt they couldn't "afford" it. A child is not only for the person but for the country, murdering those of tomorrow is wrong in my opinion.
  16. I have a question about baseball: Can other countries go into this apparant "world series" or is it one of those "only americans can get into this but we'll call it world series because it makes us feel like we're the best".
  17. Well, the thing with Sven is that hes a good club coach, he demonstrated that with some big appointments at big clubs. Being the england manager is completely different to club football because you can't go out and buy someone to help your team, international football is ridiculously defensive as well, teams just defend against england and when england doesn't win 6-0 its a "crisis". (proof would be greece winning euro 2004, they defended and caught teams on the break). I don't know why english supporters have such high hopes for a country that hasn't won a tournament in over 40 years and gets technically outplayed by continental sides. England will never be as good as everyone wants them to be and they blamed that on Sven when he couldnt wave the magic wand and win the world cup. I fully expect Sven to pull City up the league, he was a massive catch for a team that isn't particularly good, and with their new investor i can see europe for them in a few seasons. Although Sven seems to be unable to completely change a game if his team is losing he knows a good player and even buying a load of players no one has heard of have come up trumps (early days but still).
  18. I almost laughed at your avatar, so i'll give it 8/10. Its probably impossible to make me properly laugh at an avatar so yours was impressive.
  19. Personally i dont know you, but you're on the events team so you're probably tres known. 5/10
  20. Its peoples ego that gets them killed. A perfect example happened a few days ago, some idiots were arguing and one goaded the other into fighting, i'm sorry if some people have points to prove to random people over the internet but its your own bloody fault if you actually fight someone just because they insulted you.
  21. Keeping our race going is an extremely important thing, so i'd say yes, children are perhaps the most important thing anyone can do in life. The fact is, not all heterosexual people have children, but no gay people do. They're not giving back to the civilisation that they live in as far as keeping it alive. Many of the homosexual animals use surrogated mothers or fathers. Problem solved. My main problem with homosexuality is when a gay couple tries to raise children. A child raised in the ideal environment has a mother and a father. Not two mothers or two fathers. Having a mother and father figure is somthing that, ideally everyone should have. On another point, I don't think that the world is getting overpopulated. Many of the problems in Africa are not caused by overpopualtion. It is bad/corrupt leadership that leads to poverty. I dont think that food is a problem either. America's farms produce enough food to theoretically feed the world. I mean seriously, the human race is not like a plague of rats that needs to be controlled. I agree, its extremely important to have a mother and father figure growing up, and gay people are neither if i'm allowed to be so bold. Its fair enough some people saying "i turned out fine with only a mum" or even a gay couple but i don't think it should be encouraged considering the social implications and the fact that they will grow up and probably be influenced by their "parents". The most intelligent thing i've heard all day. (i just woke up but meh). Not meaning to get off topic but surely you need some fact to back up your opinion or you could literally say anything. All standing opinions are based on fact, if i said "hitler was a great man" i'd have 5 good reasons for thinking this, if i said "hitler was a great man" and you said "why?" and i responded with "i dont need to justify it, its my opinion" i'd be talking rubbish. I'm sorry that you can't back up your beliefs on religion but that doesn't mean you can try to stop people pointing out that you have no real reason for believing it, other than some abstract reason. I'm not against religion at all, it does some good in the world (mostly bad) so don't get the idea that i'm against religion.
  22. I'd say f2p because you'd have to deal with so many idiots.
  23. My half meat pie, its been in my bank for many a year and i'm still waiting for it to become discontinued so im rich.
  24. Keeping our race going is an extremely important thing, so i'd say yes, children are perhaps the most important thing anyone can do in life. The fact is, not all heterosexual people have children, but no gay people do. They're not giving back to the civilisation that they live in as far as keeping it alive. I'm none of those. The fact is the overpopulation of the people i feel are important doesn't exist, but the multiplying of minorities is a threat to the homeland they don't even belong in. To make the gene pool better and more intelligent as possible we need more reproducing by the right people.
  25. Your comparing total war to a mission/operation. You cant do that. For example, the only reason America is struggling in Iraq is because its a concrete jungle. Anyone in any house can be an insurgent. Anyone can also be an innocent civilian. America could just bomb the hell out of that place, unfortunately thats morally wrong and also defeats the purpose of the operation. You said it yourself, 'flush out'; its quite alot harder than you think. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the war, I think its just about as ridiculous as nam. Plus, in Iraq and Afganistan, America isn't fighting an enemy, it's fighting an ideal, so the most America will ever be able to accomplish is suppression. However, in total war [ie], Iraq or Afganistan wouldnt stand a chance. If America ever went to full scale total war with china or russia, I dont think it would be afraid to bomb/nuke and mabye even experiment with new weapons [mabye of the biological sort?]. The Chinese and russians also have the same biological, nuclear, and atomic weapons as us. But the chinese and russians can mobolize massive armies... so I'm not too sure how that would turn out. American soldiers are much better trained and technologically superior. Its been seen in iraq, small squadrons taking out insurgents who outnumber them greatly. Lol, you got there before me, theres a big difference between total war and whats happening in iraq/afghanistan. America didn't go to these countries in a war state, they went in an operation to get rid of what they saw as threats. If it was a war America wouldn't be trying to install a new government in that country. "flushing" rebels is ridiculously hard, people saw what happened in the Vietnam war, a bunch of guerilla forces outfought the biggest army in the world not because they're better, but because they do what terrorists do which is hide and spring attacks.
