RuneScape 2012 from RuneFest (future updates)
Wouldn't it be hilarious if they spawned a ton of dragons? :P Oh wait, too evil huh? ^^; Not a huge fan of the dragon armour rework, and Ahrim's looks like a big cushion of cloth, but other than that, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :D

Tip.It Times - 30th October 2011
It has nothing to do with not being able to see the logic. It has to do with what people prefer, and attitudes by others towards this. Some people prefer efficiency, and that's fine, but others prefer to do things another way, which is equally as fine. What is not fine, is how people do not respect the fact that others see things differently, and behave (for example) elitist. That said, attitude goes both ways, and common understanding would be nice. While I agree that if people prefer to do it the less efficient way, they should. I don't see why these people are asking for help if they alreay know what they prefer. To me, that is just wasting the time of the people who have responded, as well as meaning there is less space on the front page for questions from those who are going to take advice (lets face it, people rarely click onto the second page). In these cases, if someone is wasting time, is it really surprising that they will get rude responses? Not to mention that, even though they're rude, the information is generally good. That's all with respect to answers on the forums. Attitudes in dungeoneering may vary because of time constraints. I'm unsure as to what experience in regards to dungeoneering Fook/Insane are drawing their opinions from. The main point of the problem is that when specific restrictions from the most efficient/cost-effective methods are stated clearly, the most extreme of these "elitists" completely disregard them. NukeMarine summed it up nicely. It's not about the players being stubborn and asking for help and later rejecting because it didn't match up to what they want to do (this I can completely understand why people would get frustrated on all sides of the issue); but rather the players who do want help, but have such restrictions, only to get told that the only way to even do something is spend even more time and resources before using the most efficient/cost-effective methods that go beyond their restrictions, and worst case scenario get told that they're idiots for not following their advice. You could say in the long-run that it'd be great for the OP, but in the short-run, when the question and restrictions have been posed and it's completely ignored, it doesn't sound very considerate for the OP at all. :P Figured out the acronym, by the way. I'll be honest, writing this article was not the most easy for me because it touches on a lot of what has happened within the Tip.it community, and understandably have people believe that I am targeting specific people/groups here. I do apologize if it sounds like an over-generalization and sniping, but please remember this does happen outside of Tip.it as well as some people have already stated. The other option for me would've been to write about the bot-nuke, but I would prefer to keep that on hold for another few weeks to see how truly effective it is/was (and I think we're all a wee bit tired of the botting articles, as hot and pressing of a topic as it is, and could use a break :-?). As for the fictional... Hopefully I can meet up to your expectations. :P It's gonna be a slow build-up in some ways, and will be the first time in ages since Saradomin's Sun that I'll be doing an actual fictional storyline again so we'll see! XD (Larry & the Penguins Part II is still in a notebook somewhere too ugh! LOL)

Golden/Holiday Scythe Discussion
It occurred to me earlier this evening that perhaps this scythe really wasn't for the GJA at all to begin with. I say this because the Golden Hammer has two emotes signifying each year's win. Now if they were to still use that, then if they had one, they would've added a third emote for this year's win. If they had won. So maybe this was the intention the entire time, and not announcing it was a way to prevent people from stampeding over each other during the event, I think....

Golden/Holiday Scythe Discussion
Wow... 25 people... o_o' I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of angry people over this. *Runs around with her old scythe!* At least I still have this! :D

Jagex possible starting up selling in game items?
I don't know if they also include the game cards that you can purchase at the stores. That'd just be like purchasing 3-months through Jagex's current system. o_o' But without the bonus items.

Jagex possible starting up selling in game items?
http://www.gamegroup.plc.uk/gmg_plc/investors/news/2011pr/2011-10-21/ The latter part that is bolded is most likely referring to games that do offer items that you can buy with cash already. Jagex is probably going to just use this system for membership purchases, and as a convenience, being a part of this program would entice people who pay subscriptions for multiple games but don't want to have their number floating everywhere to remain in one spot, if I understood it correctly.

21-Oct-2011 - Bot-Busting and Bonuses For All
The saying "Don't count your chickens before they hatch" comes to mind when I read that news post. It'd be absolutely fantastic if this does actually work, but I've been a bit more pessimistic over the years on this subject, considering the number of promises and statements made in the past about the war on bots. (No, this does not mean I hate the game or Jagex; I just don't like how long it's taken so far for them to finally say that they may have an optimal solution.. Then again they said that last time too... Hrm!)

2011 Golden Joystick Awards
I honestly voted for LoL because it appears to have greater potential than RuneScape on the Free-to-Play perspective. Putting aside the drama, I honestly feel that LoL does deserve it. At least RuneScape (not Jagex, but RuneScape itself) didn't get like dead last. I have no idea what WoT is, but if the demographics are right and it is popular among many non-English speaking countries, then the results really don't surprise me at all.

17 October 2011 - Deathcon II (Halloween 2011)
Well, it took me four hours camping at the Abyss, but I got my elemental talisman, not to mention a little over 500 pure essence and some charms. Didn't bother collecting abyssal charms though. XD Oh, and a ton of clue scrolls and one effigy. XD Was funny when the worlds crashed last night too... Apparently 119 was one of them, but here I was still killing away watching RC bots run by. O_O' As for Deathcon II, it was fun. Emote's pretty awesome and the reward is unique in regards to the current game content. So I'm happy. :D And that new music track.. ROCKS!

I got really lucky: 1. Did quite a number of laps at the Barbarian Assault Advanced Course. 2. Got the attention of the Talent Scout. 3. Got the activity "Punch the Hungry Sheep." 4. Punched the first sheep I saw, got the key. 5. Gambled my experience points, gained double. XD Short lived!

Jagex mod got hacked
Final Warning for All Posters: Please do not post up anyone's passwords/personal details on these forums. I don't care if they are all over Pastebin or something, they are NOT welcome to be posted here. You can discuss how [unfortunately] some of these people are not taking precautionary measures, but in the end, do not post them here!

Jagex mod got hacked
I think it's the fact that it appears some of their own don't take the same strict precautions of protecting their account, regardless of built-in security measures, as many of us have learned to do over the years and what Jagex themselves have recommended as well. And if it really did take that long for that account to get locked, then Jagex needs to reexamine the security of such accounts, even if it is just a case of stupidly using the same password in another location.

"... sheep punching activity ..." Am I the only person to see a double-entendre in that turn of phrase? I wonder if the activity gives a pair of rubber boots as a reward?  First thing I thought of was a pillow fight to be honest. Looks like an interesting update ahead of us. :P
