Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of the matter. If you insist on arguing with those of a different opinion, it may be advisable to go and post your own opinion as well to give you better footing for your own rebuttals towards others. This is not to say I'm teaching you all how to discuss and argue points, but it is a nice guideline to follow. I am actually enjoying this update so far because of how it's revitalized the mini-game. It used to feel like a total chore and not worth doing, despite the potential for nice rewards. Now that we can actually chose what type of reward we want, and level up the NPCs accordingly, it's quite exciting to see character development from a third person view and reaping rewards from it. ^_^ The Burgh de Rott teleport, Canifis to Morton shortcut, and Ouroboros pouch are definitely things that I think are worth at least trying the activity out. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but to each their own. =) I could use a distraction from normal skilling anyway on RuneScape. Let's not drag what people do in real life for fun, okay, and keep it on the RuneScape level. Thanks guys.

This. I'm not happy with this at all. People are saying it's only 10% but miss out the x2 XP for the person being referred. Sure it won't go beyond level 30, and sure it's limited to five times a year, but this is literally impacting the game play itself. I'm all for the idea someone suggested on the RSOF on the thread that it should've been a cosmetic item at the very worst, or some sort of discount on membership for a month or something, not something that influences the game play. This feels like a cheap gimmick to get more members. And two weeks is too short of a time, in my opinion, for someone to decide if they want to become members or not. Level 30 isn't a good reflection of what the game can really open up to either (and no way am I suggesting the multiplier go beyond level 30; I don't think it should exist at all). To me it feels like I'm asking my friend to pay so that we can get some fast experience. Eh, no, sorry, sounds too much like Real World Trading. >.< The game already has multipliers in place people can work to get: the lumberjack outfit with 2.5%, the mining outfit with 2.5%, and of course the construction outfit for 2.5%, as well as the penance horn (2x) and Stealing Creations (2.0x for Morphic and 2.2x for Volatile) just to name a few. Sorry, but I rather earn my bonuses rather than pay for it and feel like a no-life begging my friends to get members so I can get some bonus experience. Oh yea, sure, you can say "If you don't like it, don't do it," but the whole principle behind this program just feels wrong. And for those saying it's like WoW: it's not the only game to have this either, and that feels like one of the justifications behind having this released. What attracted me to RuneScape was that it didn't require gimmicks like these to attract players. And with WoW, the only way you can get the bonus experience is if the person is on-line with you in the same area at the same time.

Looking forward to this update. May give me more motivation to go and finish off my lumberjack outfit. :)

Warrior's Guild clean up maybe, or maybe we're just looking into Sir Ewain's past in terms of where he got his training etc. before joining with the others. (Yes I'm aware he got his training with the White Knights and is later part of the Temple Knights but still, he could have a past at Burthorpe).

I don't believe a petition is really need. In the past, the censor at one point was so bad that all you could literally say was cabbage. Eventually this was reverted back to the normal censor. However, over time, players found ways to evade the censor with misspellings, special symbols, etc. Later on, the censor became almost a bit crazy to a point where you can't even tell someone you were on the phone because of concerns of on-line predators (mind you, I am NOT trying to scare you as this risk is ever present EVERYWHERE on the internet). In addition, those of us who speak languages other than English, including myself, found it difficult to communicate while being censored every few words. :S When the option to turn off the filter came out, there was a lot of fear that swearing would be more escalated than ever. Surprisingly enough, that wasn't the case, and swearing has more or less remained at the same level as it was before, thankfully and a bit unfortunately since one would hope that people would try to avoid using foul language so much. You, as a parent, and your children, are encouraged to use the report abuse button if you feel that a person is using abusive language. Even without have the censor on, if someone is using foul language excessively and/or using it to be abusive towards others, you can still report them. :) Also a side note: you can express emphasis without using dashes. Try using some of our post editing features (bold, italicize, and underline). :)

I guess a better way of putting it would be what are our quirks in RuneScape? :P I have this aversion of having a 4 in any of my stuff or skills' xp. Not so much now though.I pick up nearly every drop, learning from F2P how much these would add up over time.I organize my inventory of drops while slaying monsters, like charms (Gold to Green to Crimson to Red), runes (alphabetical order), and herbs (by level or worth). I used to run off immediately to do a clue scroll every time I got one as a drop with the suspicion that the reward will suck more as more time passes. :P Not so much now though unless it was an elite.I obsess over keeping my bank organized, regardless of the skill I'm training. EVERYTHING MUST BE ORGANIZED WHEN I PUT THINGS BACK IN! :ohnoes: :oops:

Where do bot's cause such a problem that you need to go to less efficient areas? I genuinely want to know because I can only think of dagannoth tasks and black demons forcing something like that. Example: Red Chinchompas. -.- At my hunter level, grenwalls would be extremely inefficient.

It's still playable. Just a matter of spending time hopping worlds and training in less efficient areas (OH GOD I SAID THE E WORD). :|

New Grand Exchange Well, maybe that'll reduce the number of people disappearing from my screen. I never really did like the whole NYSE look. O_o Oh god though, imagine Worlds 1 & 2 now when this update comes. Audio Updates Well... hopefully we don't have more awkward grunts and screams like we do now. :| Temple Trekking Funny enough I was just starting to play around with this activity again and thought how silly it was for some to remain so pathetic for so long after so many trips without any gain in knowledge or skill. :P This update should fix that. Fun little update. :) Not a huge fan of the design but at least it's a nice reward for doing all those menial tasks, aside from the ones already given.

If they've finally fixed the teleport lag glitch, then Jagex is god. Scratch that. The lag has DECREASED but for some reason I lag like a demon when loading new portions of the map. *sigh* Interesting. So lag has decreased, but other lag has occurred? The teleport lag has decreased. It was instantaneous when it first came out, but now it's back to a slight delay. But now this new lag has come up where loading new portions of the map is slower than molasses. :(

I wouldn't mind having a decent sized wallpaper with that background.
