Game Update Delay
At least they explain why the update hasn't come out, unlike a certain gaming company I know who constantly delays their game releases and updates...<_<

If you think these are so obvious, you are more than welcome to write an article and send it in as a guest article. Writing is not as easy as some of you make it out to be, let alone choosing a topic to write on.

If I didn't know any better, I'd've thought that the Treasure Trails update already came out. [hide][/hide]

A new pair of eyes with every order of dreadlocks!
A few years ago, they had made females with more defined curves, but it got pretty offensive apparently so that had to be taken away. :P On RuneScape Classic it was pretty well defined too armour-wise. :ohnoes: Off Topic: Yea, arrows looked like that way back then. And yes that was the 0gp bug from back then. No item banks either! O_O

For shame on you for not considering historical facts. Before dairy cows were introduced, you could milk AND attack cows. As for Farmer Fred: I have never seen a farmer wander around the farm by Falador. I know Farmer Fred's farm is in Lumbridge and not Falador. Doesn't mean that we can't have another farmer named Fred.:shame:

I flushed my report cards down the toilet...?
The ink on the report cards probably washed off by now, or at least became unintelligible due to other things being flushed down the toilet. <_< I doubt the plumber's going to pull out the wad and flatten it out to figure out what was inside the pipes.

Double Exp Weekend(s)
If there is another bonus weekend in the near future, definitely going to work on summoning again. Taking a break from dungeoneering now to do slayer so stocking up on charms. ^_^ I actually had fun on the first weekend racing with friends to see who'd get the most levels. :P

Help me. Someone please help me.
I sincerely hope you have some sort of idea of what you wanted to have your project on. Learn to prioritize what you need to do... I won't say I never procrastinated before, since I have, but nothing like THAT. :|

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
To be honest, one or two updates a month is better than none at all. :P Besides, sometimes updating for the sake of updating would just suck. Wouldn't want to see a load of random quests that have almost no meaning of the game, or random new dungeons that are kind of pointless... >.>' We kind of already had that issue and it's not exactly fun to wander around a place for a day only to never go back there again (Draynor sewers for example  Even with the Falador Diary it's still kind of dead).

Tip.It Times - 23rd May 2010
I thought it was open for all age groups but they said there is alcohol available for over 18's. It's a bit vague, which is why I assumed 18+. Doesn't sound like they were selling it before the event date was announced. They announced the event but were not selling tickets before they finalized the date. Their ticket sales are done through TicketMaster, and as far as I know they need a date and time before they can even sell a single ticket.

Guess I should've clarified on costs... Renting a venue for a day, rich or not, is still pricey. You still need to worry about insurance in case anyone gets hurt, even if people sign a waiver stating they won't hold Jagex responsible for any injuries that they may take. Wanna know why WonderCon for example can cost $36 for three days at the most? Sponsors, and I mean a TON of sponsors. How many sponsors does Jagex have? We don't know yet since the list isn't up.

I think the problem with BTS to begin with was the fact that it was set so that updates were expected to be for that month when really BTS could simply be like the blogs we have now showing what projects they're working on. Maybe had they started off that way BTS would've not been removed. :-? We might not know when these updates are coming, but at least we know they're coming and have some more fun speculating like we did with dungeoneering haha.

13-May-2010 Fairy Tale Part 3 & DirectX Support and Graphics Options
It was "cute" with the Tooth Fairy, but yea, I agree... I find it kind of hard to imagine a Tooth Fairy being a general that's supposed to defeat the Orcs and the Fairy Godfather. I mean okay, we already saw the stereotypical-mafia speeches from the Fairy Godfather and I had hoped that'd be the end of that and puns, but I guess not. Again, cute, but not feels out of place with the overall storyline, even if the Tooth Fairy is a fairy. I mean I guess I can see where Tooth can be seen as something tough and all but the first thing that comes to mind for me when someone mentions "Tooth Fairy" is a cute little fairy that goes to the pillows of children who placed a tooth under their pillow, not a "OMG YOU NEED TO SHAPE UP AND FIGHT THIS DUDE" sort of Tooth Fairy. And no, Dwayne Johnson (the Rock) in "Tooth Fairy" movie doesn't count. >.>

Exams this Thursday and the following Monday and Tuesday, so yay no updates to drive me insane. XD Although I'm gonna cringe after exams because of my silly goals. XD Oh well, at least 70+ dungeoneering is looking a lot more realistic now since I finally got some help in figuring out HOW to get decent XP, even while soloing.

28-April-10 Buyers and Cellars (and Thieves Guild)
In order to calculate the experience you get, cosh the trainers 10 times, recording the XP you get per cosh. Do not attempt to more than two loot attempts or you may lose track of the xp. Once you've done that, divide the total by ten and that is your xp per loot, I think. I'll try to get the exact numbers in terms of increment of experience between levels. Mind you there are decimal places in the experience gained...

Yea... I have a biology exam on Wednesday, chemistry on Thursday, physics quiz on Thursday... Not to mention a bundle of assignments (Biology for today [Monday], chemistry on Tuesday [take-home quiz & lab reports], physics homework on Thursday...]). >_< Will probably mine in between if I do log in. I think with the fact that they've had such a large update last month with dungeoneering and all, it is a well deserved break. :)

28-April-10 Buyers and Cellars (and Thieves Guild)
I think my post got bypassed... >.<' The 300k/hr is not for everyone! The experience is dependent on your level. I'm averaging around to 2-3 pickpockets too. :P At the current XP rate I'm getting, which is around 170/per loot (More like 169.9 or something like that... Can't remember what I calculated on Friday), I should be getting an average of about 200k per hour assuming I don't daydream and I don't fail to knock out the cosh trainers too often.

28-April-10 Buyers and Cellars (and Thieves Guild)
If you haven't noticed already, the experience points you get from blackjacking in the guild appears to be based on level, not just the activity itself. This is very similar to how woodcutting used to work on RuneScape Classic before there were different kinds of trees. Gonna double check this since I have one friend gaining over 170xp per cosh, while I was getting only 167.5xp at a lower level thieving than him.

28-April-10 Buyers and Cellars (and Thieves Guild)
Note about the Image: Going through the RS cache and doing reverse enegineering is not allowed according to the rules set by Jagex. Thus why the image is removed. Having such things revealed creates unneeded expectations that are player made, which in turn ends up being looked at as Jagex's when it isn't. Somehow I think the experience rate is intentional because think about it... It's in a guild. o_O Although maybe they better up the requirements a notch. And the coshing experience applies to all NPCs that you can cosh in the guild, not just the advanced one.
