I don't know why, but this latest announcement for the competition just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. :unsure: It's been pointed out numerous times that unless Jagex sets some sort of rules about what gear can be worn, this competition will end up being who has the most money. And now to top it off, they're offering loyalty points? Either people aren't signing up or this feels like another way to shove members down our throats. :???:

Finally killed Jad. -_- Stood in the middle just for the luls and to my luck he spawned south of Italy rock. Hit me twice, once for about 760 because I didn't see the attack somehow, the second 840 because I nub prayed. :oops: Killed all the healers too so hah! (I had logged off in between Wave 62 and 63 to take a breather first lol)

I usually mage them with this set up: Helmet: Full Slayer Helmet Body: Ahrim's Robe Top Legs: Ahrim's Robe Bottom Shield: Anti-dragon Fire Shield / Dragon Fire Shield / Dragon Defender (if using Super Anti-fire) Gloves: Barrows Gloves / Dragon Slayer gloves if you prefer although I'm not if they work against Mithril dragons =X) Boots: Infinity Boots / Wizard Boots / Any other boots that can give a decent mage bonus Cape: Soul Wars / Skill Cape Amulet: Arcane Stream Necklace (dungeoneering reward) / Amulet of Fury / Amulet of Glory Ring: Seer's Ring / Beacon Ring / Explorer's Ring (because the bonus isn't too crazily high, unless you're using a Seer's Ring, I usually just have Ring of Wealth instead) Weapon: Staff of Light / Elemental Staff Spell: Any fire spell, preferably Blast or higher if you can afford to; Slayer Dart is cheaper but is considerably slower Prayer: Protect from Range / Deflect Range Note: Stand a few steps away from mithril dragons to avoid their melee attack Inventory (Plus Beast of Burden): Teleport TabsAnti-Fire/Super Anti-fire PotionsPrayer PotionsFood (Swordfish or higher)The numbers of those items will vary depending on how many you have per task. =) Hope this helps some!

I'm guessing the appeals, if anything, are more of a secondary approach should they be undecided on whether or not they should let a player go.

Similar to those at Kethsi! :D *Dances with excitement!* I'm not gonna hazard a guess at when the quest is gonna be released, but I am honestly quite excited! :D I don't mind if there's a boss fight or not. To be honest, if all quests ended like that I'd get bored. Just don't make it something like "One Small Favour" and I'm happy. ^_^
