  1. I think you guys are _completely_ missing the point. The point is showing the tremendous cruelty, not the fact that animals are used as meat at all. It's the fact that eating meat can support such causes that is the concern. If they were, say, free range and killed quickly, it wouldn't be such a problem to eat meat. You could at least watch the video before you say anything
  2. Oh gosh....yeah I didn't even realize what the PM was until you guys pointed itou lol. He did that quickly before my lvl too, as I've found out. Anyway, I *possibly* going for 99 slayer as a longterm goal. I'll be training with range next, so it'll be slower. Thanks for the posts! :)
  3. After 5 years of playing I finally got 126 combat today! It was short notice, but thanks to those who showed up. I got it at goblins because that's where I trained a lot as a noob almost 5 years ago in rsc...Pics! Shot at 2007-08-02 And yes, I did accidentally miss the 99 defence part...took the screeny a hair too late and forgot the goblin was still attacking me. Oh well, I'm 126!
  4. My guide was bumped  But uh, those daggs are under the lighthouse. Just look at the map I provided to see where any of the monsters are located that I fought.

If it's not done in java, jagex won't do it. cool anyway though.
  6. I think you just hit the nail on the head. People go against all reasoning, logic, and foresight in order to get what they want. They lack empathy. They do not realize that they are worsening the human condition (we are all here on this earth, trying to live). That is why people fight, why others do nothing, and the reason that conflict exists. There is a difference of desires, each perpetuated by an inherently selfish human nature. Vanity. Someone please give me a good reason to save the "loved" one. A reason that makes sense. And yes, vanity is the reason I am typing this right now...if it weren't for it, I suppose I would be off in Africa somewhere, dedicating my life to helping others. But no, I am selfish. Then again, perhaps it is that my reason for living is different than those people who do dedicate their lives to such causes. My reason for living? Only that it is a better option than suicide, for it seems that I am here only once. Grim, but truthful. Now that I've thought this...I suppose I can't blame anyone for much of any decision they make...because most people simply lack some piece of knowledge.
  7. I recently saw a guy named "w00tpecker". I freaking laughed out loud for a good 10 seconds on that one.
  8. This is what happens when you put the [kitty] on a pedestal. Congrats mate, at least you respect them. However, you will soon realize that your idealized dream won't last very long, and reality will begin to set in. It will break your heart.
  9. W00t keep it up alan! All 70 will be quite an achievement....work for the next 3 days for me.
  10. I find it funny that no one has placed themselves as a member of the group of 3,000. You'd say something along the lines of "While you're incredibly romantic for choosing to save your loved one, YOU'RE FREAKING INSANE FOR LETTING THE OTHER 3,000 OF US WITH FAMILIES WHO LOVE US DIE!!!!! ". I find that rather unusual no one's done that. Once again, I'd save the 3,000, and any loved one I have would easily understand and accept that decision.
  11. Just go back to the statue...le faye will tele you to jail again, but you don't have to picklock again...you just appear in the building where the grail is again.
  12. I think that's the winning argument right there. If you chose the loved one, you are going against the wishes of much more than 3 thousand people (those 3,000 plus everyone though know), as well as the very same person you love. The loved one (and possibly yourself if you have something resembling a soul) would feel terribly guilty. It's definitely best to save the 3,000 people. It is only in vanity that you would consider saving the one person. Ignorance allows you to feel no guilt. However, you are still guilty. Can anyone please try to counter my argument?
  13. I WISH I had that much time...wowsers mate! Go get a bunch of your friends together and play ultimate frisbee, go build a fort in some forest near you, go run around for exercise, surf wikipedia and learn about anything and everything you can think of, or if you don't have friends go make some friends! Heck, do like I do just recently when I got bored...I made a cannon out of cardboard, ducktape, and a steel rod with a film canister as the ammo and hairspray as the propellant. That thing kept me busy a long time and performs very well. The thing is, YOU have to take the innitiative and go do it! You have to get up and go make something happen! Make your own excitement! Woo aren't I peppy!!! That and change things up....I don't have a routine...it's just whatever comes around happens. Go do it!
  14. TA Spring Google it and it's the first link. It's a strategy game based upon the origional Total Annihilation, but updated graphics and gameplay. IMO it's better than supreme commander.
  15. Oi guys, the cannon degrades after a set TIME, not after a number of balls fired. I've gone 800+ balls fired at dagganoths before picking it up and putting it back down again...
  16. Most users ever online was 1103 on Sun Jul 15, 2007 4:16 am Hah, looks like people got bored and came here! I think that just about doubled the old record of people on tip.it forums at once.
  17. Hey wakka, I just hope that you'll remember runescape well, and remember it for the fun times. Remember all the friends and accomplishments you made, and the other people that you inspired. Good luck in real life man. Until later, ta ta ol' bean.
  18. What we REALLY need is a tip.it teamspeak channel! :)
  19. Fact: The world would be better off without premarital sex. Fact: Just because it is the *best* decision *most* of the time does not necessarily make it a moral choice. However, just because it has a higher potential to have negative consequences than sex within marriage does NOT mean that it is "immoral". You have no grounds to say that premarital sex is immoral unless you blindly say "because god and the bible say so". The consequences of sex are not certain, and it is only the consequences which could pose moral dilemma (providing that there were consenting partners).
  20. Malo, I'm pretty sure that you don't get a higher post count when you post on your own thread. It really doesn't matter. Besides, it's good to have an excitable thread owner! Some cool stuff... As far as my contribution goes, I'll be you didn't know lunar magics is a great way to collect snape grass. ;)
  21. Well put. If you're up for thinking while on the job, you should learn about the stuff you are bagging as you bag it...if you can. :) Otherwise, show up on time and be friendly. Shouldn't be too hard.
  22. Weeeeee Are you really going to mine granite for 70 mining? Oh that sounds awefully fun! Pft. In the mean-time, I'll just be making 500-600k per hour using a method which I recently discovered. :) Good luck.
  23. *cough* read my guide *cough* http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=588556&highlight=
  24. What was great? Not as much as people think... Only the nostalgic memories of a bygone era, a time which would have inevitably dissapeared in due time anyway even if "rs2" hadn't come out (small community, anything to do with rares, macroers). To be honest, it was only the period in time, not actual rsc that was any good.
  25. I just got one that I haven't seen anyone else get yet... "created spheres of power to support those who should come back to that dread place thereafter. But the well sense the light of these spheres, and will not..."
