well now that the topic has been inactive for a few days heres my tut sugestion : Tut on making cartoon sigs as in cartoony scenes of different type and u cud also add a part showing different pixelling softwares available wid a lil description of em i found one by the name of Grafx2 and its real old school great for those who wanna try out the way it was originally done ( its a kind of copy of DPaint - Deluxe Paint ) and its limited to 256 colors Google it up if u wanna check it out oh. and its free so i know the following good pixeling softwares( Number 4, 5, 6 are too overpowered for pixelling ) 1 ) Graphics Gale 2 ) MS Paint 3 ) Grafx2 4 ) Adobe Photoshop 5 ) The Gimp 6 ) Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 ) Pixen ( MAC Only :( 8 ) Microangelo 9 ) IconBuilder Pro 10 ) i.Mage 11 ) Phoenix Paint ( DPaint Clone in C#, also known as PxPaint ) 12 ) Pro Motion 13 ) Ultimate Paint 14 ) ProPixel Thats all i could whip out for the list :) oh.. and then u cud move on to photorealism :P ( i m not askin too much rite ? lol )

i like the tree and the sky but the moon could be better and so could be the grass and rock textures along with the dude's shading i see u have spray canned the tree u cud use the same thing for a better rock and grass texture check out imhomer's pixel tut for tips on better texture

looks great though the stars cud use a lil work and the guys face looks big for his body ( the blindfolded guys ) and its too dark i dont understand wats going on and the shading and highlighting cud be gradual wid better colors the rest is great :P

dude u really need a few thousand hours of practice have u even read any of the pixelling tuts here on tip.it ? even my 8 yr old sister can draw better that looks like u made it in under a minute ok i dont wanna start flame wars here so i will request a mod to just close the topic anyway the rules say and next time put in at least 2-3 hours of work even after 2-3 hours its hard to get a real good looking pixel pixel art is all about patience and talent

i agree wid homer make the blades sharper and dont have em floating around the world put them on a table or floor or something like that and also make the blade more reflective. i dont know how to do that in milkshape coz i never managed to get working with it but i think it must do with messing around with the material attributes or something

its great no need to clean up the lineart coz that lineart gives it a cartoonish look ( thats exactly wat u want i guess ) i like the shading at the lower left stones/rocks/wall :P oh and that dragon head is pretty funny too that gives it a look of being dumb i also lie the shading on that lava cape keep it as it is but make the shading of the logs a lil darker as in add darker shades at the burning logs and the dude and his resting place :P need a lil more shading or at least a lil more gradual the rest is pretty awesome oh and the view outside the window looks more like a painting it needs a lil more detaling and shading

right click the color u wanna pick up as simple as that and ctrl + right click a color to make it the background color and if u press the "X" where it shows the foregound and background colors ( in the color selection panel ), it will swap the foreground and background colors glad to help :D

i like the pixel all of the 3 work are wip i guess ? coz u havent completely shaded em all :D

dude i suggest u use blender3d its free and pwns milkshape wikibooks has one awesome tut on it ( something by the name of blender3d : noob to pro or something like that )

blood and gore.. hmm.. my favourite topics :) lol anyway it looks great and i like ur style though the second characters uh.. face's left over part cud use a lil more detailing :P anyway keep it up

its nice but u need to work on the shading of the face more look at urself in d mirror or somewhere with the same lightsource and see how you GET shaded

its good but u need to work on a lil better shading make it more gradual and give it the right shape look below ok this is a really rougth example the second one shows how the shading on the cone takes shape though it should be more gradual i was a lil busy so whipped this up in 2 minutes just to show u the right method of how cones are shaded the first one shows how u have shaded on the top left and bottom left cones that gives them a blockish shape anyway i hope u get my point edit : to make it more warrior like first add some torn flags and stuff around and if the warriors a good guy, keep the same color, if hes a bad guy make it a lil more dark colored ( black, grey, etc ) to add to the creepy feeling. and coz its isometric add more stuff around, enlarge the canvas and add things of war like a weapon room, maybe a range training area, etc

when i first saw wolfsans DIGITAL PAINTING, i was stunned as well he sure seemed to have spent a lot of time on it but i found the one by Big Nuppfnas really funny anyway u cud just check pixel2life or deviantart for help on making digital paintings and about ur gallery, the "spooky tree" is more of a beautiful scenery lol to make it spooky add night and clouds and ur kittys cute :)

lookin great and i guess hes looking at a dragon u can eat the cookie for me :P

i love that shading and texture of the rocks and the ranger doesnt seem like hes on the rock because he hasnt added the rangers shadow he might be adding it soon

you need to dither more that will decrease the colors used and make shading more gradual click here if u need help with it or ask terley or other good pixellers

remove those spears they are ruining the prespective it looks a tonne better without em

its great and trust me, its awesome for a first but u cud do with a lil better color choice heres a lil help from imhomer's pixel tut ps : none of the above is written or done by me. its a piece of chunk from imhomers pixel tut. Its a nice big tut so i showed u the exact section where u will get the help u need ( section 5.5 of tut )

lol its cute cud be made into a full size sig :D
