Hey guys, I am looking for a simple but an appropriate logo for a science department crest. If you win you get 100 dollars and your art appearing as the official logo for the science department at mcgill university. Below are the requirements: I want to have: Full rights and use of the logo, including all high-res images, adobe illustrator and photoshop files Must include: <1MB jpeg image of proposed logo, a few sentences explaining logo and inspiration What I would llike: The "SUS - Science Undergraduate Society" text The colour scheme The Science Undergraduate Society 'ring' *note - I am not looking for a 'quick-fix' crest. Originality and ingenuity will be much more highly valued than maintaining the above. What we want to logo to represent: The essence of McGill Science The students A stamp indicating the high quality of academic, social, and philanthropic events put on by the SUS. restrictions: The logo must be distinct from that of the University (ie. not like the one we have now) May not use marks or emblems of the University as they appear on the University crest (ie. a martlet is heraldic charge, but the McGill Martlet is copyrighted by McGill University) All-in-all if you could get the SUS Crest and University Crest confused, it is a no go. yea, jeez, it;s more and more difficult to auto these days with all this attention...sarcasm btw, the botting community took a major blow, as jagex shut down ksbot, which was a paid bot (big mistake), supposedly very high quality stuff. Since, it was paid, I heard people complaining about losing thier money, oh well their fault for cheating.

there are a third group of people who belong as one of the above types of people, but who also think the terms are insults...these people are know as Mod edit: removed, don't evade the censor please! and here is why: Safers? hmm, let me give a couple of synonyms for safers...eaters, person who eat too much. Sounds like whining about not getting what you want, that is...allow the other person to survive. Geez, can't we get back to something relevant as an insult. If you call someone else safer, you are basically ridiculing the fact that they won't let you kill him. Which is against the whole point of pking. By calling someone else a safer, you are being a hypocrite yourself because you are doing the exact same thing. Unless you pk with no food. Being safe is defined as eating to keep the HP level about your opponent's next maximum hit. (since once you hit 0, you can't eat. So you heal at 1 hit before). Theoretically, you can never die. The only way to die is by not safing. Therefore, statistically, the average pure pker in bounty worlds who kill more than they die is a safer (Think about that....) So, if you kill more people than you die, you are probably a safer. If however, the reverse is true, you are a bad pker. Get it? What the hell are luckers? I see this term more and more often....really? thanks for pointing out the obvious that if you kill someone is because you got lucky with the RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR Risk, I laugh at people that tell me to risk stuff... They might as just straight up beg for my stuff, since if you take account that my purposely risking you are giving out a percentage of drops for free to your opponent. Not to mention, that if you risk and you won, then you were lucky, making you a lucker.. here is the ridiculousness of risk: I just have to ask one rehtorical question....do you really think that the average person who ran away from a dm (which consist of a majority of people), insulted you with every single words he think of in his tiny brain, egged you on to fighting, and is going to leave thier HP at 5 below your max hit, so you can KO him? if you think that there is a secret universal understanding of risk that pkers are suppose to honor, then you clearly are either naive or got dropped onto a granite shield as kid. Here is another reason why risk is a stupid concept, it's like DM's, you tell your opponents they can't run, but you still do. It's just a stupid con trick.... The truth is, those who risk the most, have the most to gain. That doesn't mean that will just foolishly leave their HP purposely low, so opponent can kill them. I just felt like clarafying this, because there is a percentage of pkers who truly believe this. And I am all for helping the mentally handicapped.

Those stats are great and you should definitely get mage, if not for fireblasts it will give you magic defense. In fact, if you plan to high alch, then you should max magic according to your combat level. However, using magic will be ineffective against pures of the same level as your hypothetical pker. Stick with strength and you should not get burned. Another thing, 40 attack and 70 str will land you around lvl 50. Very few pkers in bounty world has armor at that level. It's quite rare to see full runes pking until level 60+

Magic gives magic defense and guess what? it doesn't affect your level. :thumbsup: and don't get pray, it's horrible.

Getting defense is just plain uncool. If it was up to me, I would restart.

Not to be mean or anything, it's people like you who complain every time they lose something who ruined the game, because Jagex went to fix it. To be honest, I think it's Jagex who ruined the game by making everything so safe. It was just plain boring, there was no longer any risks or anything. This is not about his logic, this is about helping him with the account he wants. How is telling him to get things done quicker not a way to help his account?

I agree with what he said, except with getting 60 mage. You fight as well, start training range anyways and just pk from there.

Notice the irony. So I guess since he doesn't have time, he should waste even more time by playing free? In Members things get done 3X faster, he wants to train a pure from scratch. That's at least 150 hours of training and money making. ( In members it can get done 3x faster, it would take only 50 hours) Thus he saved 98 hours, just by working 2 hours.

Why level 60 magic? and 60 attack? You are f2p, stats are quite low, probably never pked, don't have pure. What are you doing giving him advice? Do you even know the effort it takes to get something to level 80? Much less range... Seriously stop giving advice in graveyard. Back to the original pure, I rate it 10/10. 50 attacks can help alot if you go members. Very nice range. If you get magic then go for it. You won't gain a level as long as you keep it 80 and below and use non-dmg spells. Good luck

Instead of making a new pure, how about get a job? Work for 2 hours, get membership card from target, buy yourself some coke and rent a movie and train in members? You will definitely get the hours back. Or better, get a job, work 3 hours a week, study hard, go dance, learn to drive, help your parents out during this economic times and play Runescape in 15-18 months? Or even better, instead of taking someone else's job, why not volunteer your time to your community instead of to a game? Get some community hours, make some new delinquent friends, join NHS, make a speech about what you learned while serving your community. Get a scholarship and go to College. :thumbsup:

If you are good, go to PvP. You can approximately make even if you get 5-10 kills with every 1 death. At BH, You can make even with 2-3 kills for every death. So if you are close to the limit, then go to BH. I am assuming you will be pking at low level crater. and your level is 53-55. Personally, I pk at PvP, because bounty hunter is just too dark and gloomy. ;p

Take it from someone who made a strength pure and a r2h/range pure. One at 52 combat, the other at 54 combat, respectively. (The reason i made 2 is because I first made a r2h/range pure, and that was a while ago, when Jagex just released new magic staff interface, and a bunch of people got some def. (me). That being said, in my opinion, at levels 53+, strength pure dominates other pures. Rangers just can't hit that high, around level 53-57, rangers could hit about 13 per arrow, while you can hit 18-19 with scimitar. 2 out of 3 times I got killed this week on my strength pure which is level 52, by another strength pure. The 3rd time was by a level 61 ranger (and I pretty much fought evenly with him, in fact I made him tele the 1st time I fought him. Including r3d barring him 3 times lol. So I agreed to eat only at 16hp after he complained before rematch.) So why waste the time to get range? There exists many advantages with range. Such as the crazy accuracy on people who are not pures, (which you will encounter quite a few at that level). As a strength pure, I avoid them like the plague, however rangers completely dominates them. Ultimately, the question is: "Is the extra hp worth the range levels". This question can only be answered by what you pk. If you like to pick on pures at the G.E. Then the answer is no, because range takes time and money to train and strength is just better. If you pk in clans at the barbarian village. Then go for it! Range is cheap and fast. These things can only be learned first hand. So I invite you to go G.E. and watch other pk or pm me and I will be happy to let you know when I pk. Edit: I forgot another advantage of not getting the extra hp levels is your ability to pk at bounty hunter. Which pays far more than pvp. (For example, I get approximately 4-5 kills with every death in Pvp. However, I am actually losing alot of money through lobs.)

lol, 76 range? The only reason for ever getting 76 range is not being able to get 77 range. Get 77 range! You will be able to hit 13's.

First of all that's some horrible stats...well not really. I am proud of your 1 def too, hope you keep it up. 10/10 for the pursuit of the ideal.

I suggest restart without prayer as prayer will only hinder you...you do have a higher max with prayer, however your hp would be less and your prayer would run out making you weak. In addition, I and many others find turning prayer on and off very bothersome and distracting to eating. Oh btw, I wouldn't mind what anyone would say about safing, which is the practice of eating "too" much food and not letting your health go low. In my opinion, safing is just a way for noob pkers to justify the fact that they could not kill you. 90% of people who call you safers would safe themselves. They would sometime wait for you to safe FIRST, then they would say something like "you safe, I safe" :D So my advice, just let them know that you are the "man" and therefore you deserve to eat before the others. First of all, write your posts with logical ideas and proper grammar. Now your first rant...it's wrong, using ice blitz and specials in consecutive attacks can cause high damaging and is considered a tactic for pking. Your second statement makes no sense. Are you supporting people who rushes or saying that level 120-130's die because they rush? Your topic has no valuable input in the matter of pking. You just tell people that they shouldn't do something and even that is unclear. Now please state your position clearly and put up evidence to support them. Otherwise, this topic doesn't belong in help and advice section, as it's neither helpful to people who read, nor does it give sensible advice.

Very nice guide =), I think it very detailed. Your method is probably the fastest way in collecting big bones in f2p. I liked your tips about taking the big bones before alch, this way you won't get random. =D> Never thought about that.
