leaf bladed swords are good if you cant get zam spear on ge, like me :wall: and as far as d long goes, its too slow and the Accuracy matters more on this boss.

its simple really, just wear the best prayer bonus you can, and kill them in the saradomin area. (saradomin item is a must, zammy item would help.) just bring pure super sets and like 6 p pots (adjust depending on how long your staying.) whip on mage prayer and go to town. a note: if they are attacking a werewolf, you can turn on mage pray, they wont attack you. Tbh, they arent worth camping anymore. but they Are a great task to have. :

How many people think rares are "useless crap"? .__________.;; Id vote for that. Personaly, i think that full dragon with the full helm(not very many ppl have helm!) is coolest looking armor ingame. 3 a just looks plain.

good luck. almost none of the artists use the individual request threads, try your luck at a shop. however, i dont think anyone is taking requests atm, but you can try.

So here we have a shield that on average 70 attacks out of 100, will reduce the damage received by 25%. It will take the "edge" off of an attack. Most "grinding" monsters people fight have max hits of ~15. Which means, at best, it will be 25% off of 15. It is welcome, but really nothing mindblowing. At worse, it will be 25% off of 0 or a very low number. Don't buy the shield and expect much against normal monsters. The real use is clearly PVP and boss monsters only. The thing is, the shield isn't even good at that either. The new monster is best killed with zamorakian spears. GWD is best done with godswords to rip through the bosses defences. Pvp is again largely won with godswords. The shield is very good, but the best thing you wear with it is a whip. What you can see here is a real paradox. The shield is good for pvp and boss hunting. Whips are used for grinding against normal monsters. Whips are not made for boss monsters, they aren't made for pvp. The shield and the whip disagree, the shield would rather watch WWE and the whip would rather just watch Dr house. So you have haft of the TV showing Dr house, and the other haft is showing RAW. It seems like shawn michaels is talking to cameron and you can't really figure out much of what going on. Conclusion: The shield is good, but has no suitable pvp/boss hunting 1 handed weapon to go with it. It's a damn lemon. For now, it's completely useless. "OMG LOOK AT ME I HAVE A DIVINE SHIELD! HERE I COME BOSS MONSTERS! Oh wait... snap, I have no weapon to go with it. *sob*" Well you can still use knives with it though :D [/hide] I was thinking the same thing. dont get me wrong, whip is still a good weapon. but its not something you take to bosses.... what we really need is a strong 1h wep between whip and gs., perhaps somehtign with defensive abilities. thses shields look good on paper, but i use my gs waaaay to much to go back to whip to use one of these shields.

You need full black armor and weapons to attack the beast, otherwise it stops you..... somehow...

Well if those are the only chioces: firecape -at least during busy periods doing damage is much more important than pray bonusses- scimitar -the str difference doesn't really do anything for the black long, the speed does- zerker/row -zerker is best since you need to get kills as fast as possible: the boss has little defense so a warrior is a bit "overkill"- Why did you even consider the explorer ring? +1 Prayer or whatever it does. These aren't the choices I'm asking for advice on, I already have my setup. I just listed all the possible things that could be used for normal melee attack. When you say "only choices" does that mean I'm missing some things or what? IMO, ROW is best here. you wana maximize your elixir chances right? Also, if you manage to get a world to yourself, black hally is very usefull.

im glad that they did finaly update the skill, but its not enough. sure, we can now lvl it faster, but there are still next to no rewards for doing so! if there were no cape, why would you lvl firemaking up beyond quest reqs? you wouldnt. its not worth the time or effort. Please, give us something to do with this lame skill.

well, it depends. how much wood are you cutting? how long do you plan to keep it? as far as speed increase, its 10% better than rune axe.

i say get them both, they are both very usefull. and as for members, there isnt much in FOG that isn't exceeded by better members equipment.
