I got blue, but I wanted green (cuz its best). I'm not sure if I want to change it though... i have 7 sets of hats and scarves. hats are easy, 'use' the hat with a hatstand and it will fall on the floor. go to diango and get another, go back and pick up your hat from the floor before it dissapears. as for scarves and marionettes... Kill yourself. you need at least 80% energy before you even start. take 3 items and your marionette out of your bank, and have nothing else in your inv/nothing else equipped. just make sure the 3 items are more valuable than the marrionete so you lose the puppet and not your items when you die, i was using raw swords...so its not hard to find something. anyway, just kill yourself somewhere within about 20 seconds walk of dray(preferably less), re-spawn at lumb, RUN back to dray, collect a marrionette from the crate, RUN back to where you died and retrieve your lost marionette from the ground before it dissapears. viola. repeat with 2 to recieve the third. this is the same method i used for scarves. only problem is if your a high level and you are trying to kill yourself (using the jail guard people just east of dray) it can take 10-15 minutes to die :S You ought to submit this as a guide :D

I agree entirely with what Duke_Freedom said. Ultimately, it is the consumer that decides the price, not the merchant. I think this idea would infuriate most rare owners moreso than "help" the economy by capping rares prices.

30 magic and yew trees? Prices would plummet... And I dont think woodcutting axes should ever be sold in a shop, unless pickaxes become smithable. (and by the way, dragon woodcutting axes chop at the same speed as rune axes.)

How can you possibly say that merchanters do NOTHING? They work, just like anyone else does. Except they type more often than click.

HA! I can't believe I forgot the truly worst thing that happened to me... I met this person somehow, I don't quite remember. At the time I was level thirty-something, with full mith. As I got to know this person better, (who was a few levels above me) he saw my armor, and asked if he could borrow it. And me, being the utter doormat I am, just gave it to him. From then on whenever I asked about it, he insisted my lower leve real-life friend had it (which he of course didn't). Mithril was of course the best thing I could use, and it was worth a fortune to me then. To make it worse, the person who I let "borrow" my armor had the word "toast" in his name, so everyone would say how I was "burnt by toast" :roll:

I fail to understand why so many people are out to bring an end to the rares market. And doesn't that kinda take the "discontinued" out of "discontinued items"?

The only thing that ever gave me REAL money was merchanting... mainly ess, and runes from zamorak mage (I'm low leveled enough that campers can't kill me 8) ). Otherwise, I make steel bars and sell them for 500 each. (Would be 600, but being an ex-member you just can't get the best prices :( )

I dont believe jagex has any right whatsoever to interfere with player-to-player trading. And selling phats for 2gp? We wouldn't have a single partyhat left.

I think it would be odd to have a 3D java game like this suddenly become virtual reality... but who knows what jagex might do :lol: I think they couldl just up the graphics a little like they did with RS2. More like the graphics you seen in console games today. However I doubt this is probable with a java game you play with your web browser :?

I congratulate the author for his creativity, I just don't think these ideas are suitable for the game.

Actually, i lied... My worst experience was with my first account, someone_els6 (dont know why i had the 6 :lol:). I begged for mercy while being attacked by a mugger on my first day ever. when I died, I lost what my tinderbox, which i thought was irreplaceable. So i started all over with someone els :) I was so overjoyed when I learned about general stores :D

Melee IS still useless once it is binded, regardless of what is protecting them. And once they pull out a bow after putting on their dragonhide, they are rangers, not meleers :?

Why didnt i say this before... Range can attack while being binded anyway, since it only removes your ability to walk. So magic doesnt have that advantage over range.
