Hey guys! Chessmastuh here. I've had this idea for a comp for a few weeks now, and about a day before JaGeX shut down media market, I got the spare 1mil I needed to host it (BIG thanks to SaidinWoT for selling me cheap iron -- you own dude :) ), and then, to my dismay, it was shut down. But I can't let this idea go to waste! So, I'm going to start this competition. On to the info! The idea for this competition is to design a new piece of RS Equipment/weapon/monster. There are NO limits (that I can think of) on creativity, and wackiness is encouraged. In fact, when voting time runs 'round, it will probably ensure you more votes than normal. There aren't any size limits. Just don't make it waaay too big, or waaay too small. Putting your idea into a scene is suggested, but not required. When submiting, please include a description of your idea along with the pixel, the reason for which being thus. For the winners, your ideas and the pixels will be submitted to various fansite's "Game Suggestions" Forum, and will be suggested on the official RS forum. You will be given COMPLETE credit to everything. Also, if the media market is ever re-opened, the first place shall recieve 700k, and the second place 300k. If I missed anything, or mods, if there is something objectional about this, please inform me and I will remove/change/add it as soon as possible. Happy pixeling! ~~Chessmastuh.

too expensive, rs is $5/month yea, but jagex wont **** ur **** :D some people really try to get in some mods *private places*.. doesn't that count? :lol: Oh god... ew... please, stop... Anyhoo, productive things outside of RS are fun. When I'm bored, I usually head over to mircosoft paint and pixel around a lil', or I'll grab my sketchpad and draw/doodle. Or you can go to your local hobby shop and buy model airplanes/rockets, those are always incredible fun.

Ditto man. You don't really need to host a public event anyhoo, just call up some of your really close friends and have a sort of "mini" one with them in a private place.

It's actually pretty good, for a start. If you felt like it, you could probably enter some comps out there in media market. For the window, you might wanna give it bars, if you want it to go along with the walls. That or a wooden frame around it. But I like what you've done with the general shading. Somethings off about the right hand wall... I just can't put my finger on it.

The zamorak mage is also there for a reason, that being that he sells cheap runes. If you can't stand them, then just stay out of their domain, and you'll be fine.

If this is true, then there is more incentive for me than ever to finish those darned quests. :shock: Anyhoo, I noticed this a short while ago, and I'm greatly dissapointed. Even though I'm not a high enough level for a whip, I feel your pain. It seems like a lot of work, not only killing the darned things but getting that slayer in the first place. Even if you don't waste 5m each whip, the amount of work it requires to keep yourself motivated even though you haven't gotten a drop in 600+ kills is astounding. I'm sure you'll find some 5m buyers. Just keep looking man. :wink:

Moopy FTW, yet again. As he said, they're undoubtedly gonna suck. Not only because it's gonna be an update that was forced onto Jagex by players so they'll be no heart in it, but because the idea just sounds plain stupid. There's no reason to introduce them; it'll just be a hassle.

Well, if you go at this moment, there are still a few people hanging around. It was great fun, got no screenies though. Spent the whole time talkin' to people (as usual) and failing curses at other people. Failed curses FTW!

I've always fantasized about spending a month at CW and getting it myself, but seeing as it's hard for me to focus on one task for more than 10 minutes, I highly doubt that's possible. Thank the gods of ranging for cannons, or else I would never have even considered working slayah.
