  4. I'd go with option 1. Even if I wanted their items, if they're going to die to that, they probably don't have anything worthy on. Plus, people have frequently warned me of random events or broken pickaxe heads and returned them to me out of kindness; I intend to pay that forward.
  5. The trinity? So shouldn't it technically be 663? Meh, I'm not worried ... I'd be far more concerned with December 21st, 2012.
  6. It depends. I have violent mood swings. It varies based on where I am, who I'm with and how I'm feeling. Around adults, I'm usually moderately talkative; far from the typical anti-social teen. Usually, I'm a fairly resentful, spiteful and blunt person, but sometimes I can be really nice and compassionate too. Among certain friends I'm obnoxious and try to be funny (with occasional success), but otherwise I'm usually fairly shy and withdrawn.
  7. San Andreas, Jak & Daxter and Spiderman 2.
  8. I've only heard the more common songs of their's. Highway To Hell is probably my favourite.
  9. Usually just my normal stuff, but I might start listening to music that is more fitting to my location. Personal Jesus would be good for Morytania, but I think Johnny Cash's cover would be good for ... say, when you're running from someone in the wild.
  10. Chris Vrenna's solo in "The Perfect Drug" by Nine Inch Nails.
  11. 1gp, for material possessions destroy your soul. Thus, with 1gp your soul will die in agonizing and slow pain! Bwahahaha! Rock or roll?
  12. Gee, I wonder how you cat over 2billion worth of items onto a noob account ... no, of course, I'm sure you followed the rules for that. No drop trading at all.
  13. The San Andreas fault has been inactive for a while, thus a large Earthquake in California is due sometime soon. In terms of the bible, I don't believe the 9/11 reference, because we're talking about natural disasters; not those caused by other living creatures. I've seen a supposed method that "decodes" parts of the bible which supposedly predicts the future, by arranging certain verses in and then observing various patterns which are supposedly indications of the future, but that can be done with any phrase; not just September 11. After a discussion I had with my father on this, and some books he has given me, the bible doesn't sound as unbelievable to me as it first did. Of course, I don't believe in the religious aspects - but, apparantly, there is evidence to suggest that some of the events in the bible did actually occur. HOWEVER, what were meant to be miracles were in fact scientific phenomenon, which at the time couldn't be explained, and were therefore linked to divine entities. There are many flood stories around the world from when the Noah's Ark story occured, thus there is a general agreeance (I think) that there was a large flood at that time. When Moses supposedly parted the waterbed when attempting to escape the Egyptians, it is believed that that was due to a tsunami; at first, the water levels dropped, allowing him to cross, and then, as the Pharaoh and his soldiers crossed, the tsunami struck, wiping them out. Meteor showers were often thought to be the Gods fighting. One term was the "Dragons and serpents", as meteorites in the sky, with their trail of fire, could look like a tailed dragon to people unaware of the relaity at that time. There are many more examples of this which I might detail once I start reading some of these books. It's actually rather interesting. So, perhaps with the bible, we must read between the lines for scientific evidence. That's my belief, to some extent, anyway.
  14. you have seen the other kevin smith movies, havent you? first one he made was clerks, then mallrats, chasing amy, dogma, jay and silent bob strike back, and jersey girl. jersey girl is the only one that doesnt have jay and silent bob in it, kevin smith (silent bob) was trying to get away from that, so that it didnt seem like his movies were riding on the backs of them (if you watch chasing amy, you know he can make a great hilarious movie with them only in it for a minute). didnt quite work out as he expected, lets just hope passion of the clerks is good. I've seen J&SB Strike Back, but not the others. I'll get around to watching them eventually though, I promise!
  15. KoRn created nu-metal, and AC aren't messed up. They're just a bunch of Canadian nerds who hate everything (not that there's anything wrong with that).
  16. Then why the hell did you just post that?
  17. I'm sure that they had the patience and discipline to get that much magic experience, a few extra dozen hours won't bother them too much to get some new robes. And, although I support this cause, I don't think a petition is going to change anything.
  18. No; you don't take items into the room. Rather, there are various items that you find in cupboards, and the value of each item changes over a minute or so. The most efficient way is to search for the item which has the highest alch value (30) and alch that until it changes. Then, after changing, find and alch the next item that has a value of 30 (or 15, or whatever you find fits your strategy more). However, it is a good idea to alch the item which has an arrow next to it (if there is one), regardless of its value, as this way, you get the experience, the money, but don't use any runes.
  19. First of all, I wasn't "cursin". I hardly think "moron" clarifies as a curse word. Secondly, you immediately dismissed an idea, which has some historical and archaeological basis without another thought, in addition to using the condescending and over-used roll-eyes smiley (which can't even be seen). That's what I call close-minded, ignorant and moronic.
  20. The end of the world as we know it is when ignorant morons like you become the norm.
  21. I take back what I said. I've just been discussing this with my dad (whom is a geologist and does lots of research into archaeology and whatnot) and this could all be very real. In about 3510 BC, is when the Egyptian civilization began. It just sprung out of nowhere. Now, it is possible that 21st of December 2012 is the day which could be the shifting of the polar axis. The recent catastrophies could be a result of "preperation" for the upcoming shift of the axis. As such, it is possible that the Mayan calendar predicts these shifts. Therefore, perhaps the Egyptian civiliation sprung up from another civilization - one which was advanced, and in which many died in the climate changes, possibly in Asia, Europe or other African regions. The survivors migrated to Egypt and began civilization out of almost nothing. Another theory is that this would be a shift of human consciousness, caused by an allignment of the planets. There is scientific evidence to suggest that the allignments of the planets affect the magnetics of the earth. The magnetics of the earth affects our brainwaves, which in turn affect our behaviour. Thus, there is a possibility that an allignment, for example; one of all nine planets, would result in altered magnetics which would dramatically change our brain waves and thus evolve the human race.
  22. That was brought up a few times already in this thread.
  23. Actually not all the time, at the alch cave u can alch for free the item that has the green arrow next to it. so basically with fire staff it's totally free magic exp. Not quite true. I tried this, and you need to have the runes in your inventory. With a fire staff and no natures, I tried to cast high alch on the free ("arrowed") item. I was able to select an item on which to cast it on, despite having no runes. You need the minimum runes in your inventory for one cast, but they are not used.
  24. I think rares, in the long-term, were a bad thing. They caused a great instability in the economy. I don't see HOW they stabilize it in any way. Thats like saying the speculators in 1927 stablizied the economy by driving stock prices up. But, Jagex has made a mistake and they have to live with it. They would lose a fair sum of money if they deleted rares or made them untradeable or whatever, and we have to look at issues from a business perspective, too. However, the deletion of rares WOULD stabilize the economy, possibly to the other end of the spectrum. It'd be a chain reaction: Jagex deletes/stops trade on rares Rich players quit the game, in some cases without donating their cash Cash is leaked from the economy Other players flame Jagex for their choice Players are banned and their networth becomes inaccessible More cash is leaked from the economy Both of these situations result in a mild stablization, and I doubt they're the only possibly outcomes. Now, before I get flamed by some elitist; you're right, I can't afford a partyhat, but I don't particularly want one either. I'd rather spend 80mil on runes, cash, weapons, armour, or anything else that was beneficial to my levels and other irrelevant things in the game. I think that partyhats should stay in the game, because their removal would cause havock, but it's too late to change that now, and the current move of Jagex (i.e. that of making holiday items untradeable) was a smart one.
  25. I really doubt that, since other people have bought robes, which cost a lot more.
