What movie(s) did you last see?
Last night I watched American Beauty for the first time. I was quite impressed, and at the same time weirded out ... a rather strange film. But I certainly liked it. The other night I also saw Clerks. I didn't like it at first because it was monochrome, but for a film shot on a budget of less than $30, 000, it's damn good. Dozens of usable one-liners, non-stop hilarity throughout the entire thing. 'twas great. I also found out that the sequel is currently in post-production. Kick-[wagon].

I usually have it only a centimetre away from the amp; but my amp is a cheap one worth about $50 AUS ($30 US). And with the bass, I can barely hear the fifth string. Think I'm gonna have to get a better amp.

Sun Gazing - Possible to live off sunlight?
Perhaps sunlight exposure promotes the production of various vitamins? I've only done a semester-long course on biology at the tenth grade level so far, thus my knowledge of the subject is rather limited, but the chemicals provided by ATP (a process required in photosynthesis) are not mentioned in the photosynthesis equation. This, to me at least, suggests that there are possible chemicals from the sun that we are unaware of. Or perhaps photosynthesis is possible in humans ... in that the pores on our skin are capable of absorbing sunlight, and with oxygen and water, we are able to produce simple sugars (namely Glucose) to sustain life. Very interesting, but once again, I'm fairly uninformed on the topic so I may be more naive to information like this than others.

'Oldschool' Discussion
Yeah, hip-hop, or rather, hip-pop, is certainly more disposable than any other genre at the moment.

"Intelligent Design" fails in some areas of the US
That's all well and good, but we're at a point now where science has a LOT more backing, and our current theories have a lot less inconsistancies than theories on the same subjects centuries ago. We should teach the theories that have a LOT of credibility and a lot of backing - not just things that are based on faith and have no objective credibility.

Sometimes I feel sorry for them, and think how it must be to have an unrewarding job like that .... but I still tell them to [bleep] off.

Entire court ruling This is from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette (I got this from another forum, which credits the PPG). The judge was apparantly appointed by Bush himself.

~~\Electric guitar tuning/~~
The standard tuning is EADGBE. If your tuner isn't working then there's another way to do it. If you have the thick E string (the bassiest string) in-tune, or if you have a piano you can tune it like that. Then, you can tune the A string by fretting the E string on the 5th and trying to get it to sound the same as the open A string. Then, when that's in-tune, fret the A-string on the 5th, and try to get it to sound like the D. Fret the D-string on the 5th to get it to sound like the G. THEN, fret the G-string on the FOURTH, to get it to sound like the B-string. Then finally, fret the B-string on the fifth to get it to sound like the treble E string (treble being high-pitch). If you're doing Drop D tuning, fret the thick E-string on the 7th fret to get it to sound like the A string, and do the rest as normal. This is because in Drop D tuning is only two semi-tones lower than the regular tuning.
