  1. Warm out today. Warm out yesterday. Even warmer today. Met her on my CB Said her name was Mimi Sounded like an angel come to Earth But when I finally meet her Boy, you should've seen her Twice as tall as me, three times the girth Oh, my fat baby loves to eat A big old Buddha belly, and her breasts swing past her feet Oh, my fat baby loves to eat My big ol' fatass baby loves to eat! anyway..I would play bass guitar, that would rock. I just got a 5-string Fender bass guitar yesterday for $1000 (AUS, which is about $700 US). And I didn't have to pay a single cent :D
  2. I'd probably spend as much time with those close to me as I can; family and my best friend particularly.
  3. You mean you can get an STD from money!? Congratulations. But I think this is when you stop playing Runescape ...
  4. I think we had a similar discussion about this not long ago ... http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=366575 Music nowadays is a lot more disposable - it's made to be that way; big for a little while but easily forgettable. I doubt many of the artists we have now will be remembered in 20, 30 or 50 years time. But I get the feeling that some of the artists who we remember now - Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin and similar, will be remembered quite well in those years to come, because they weren't made to be disposable. That was when music as a whole had some sense of sincerity - before it became controlled by the labels and governed by a fascist industry.
  5. I'd go with stuff from the 80's synth-pop movement. New Order - Shellshock New Order - Bizzare Love Triangle Gary Numan - Cars Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence Sweet Dreams - Eurythmics Cheap Trick - Surrender Soft Cell - Tainted Love Soft Cell - Sex Dwarf David Bowie - Fame David Bowie - Let's Dance
  6. Like I said before - YOU are the one who flamed me first. Don't act all innocent.
  7. Is it possible for you to post something the slightest bit productive? And how did I get owned?
  8. Oh yeah ... was Arnie in End of Days?
  9. Has anyone seen Predator 2? Biggest disappointment ever.
  10. Oh yeah ... Total Recall was awesome.
  11. "Don't Be Economic Girly Man!" Probably Collateral Damage or T ... hm. T2 and 3 were both good in my opinion. Hard choice. Perhaps I should go see some more of your movies so I can, um, observe your outstanding charisma and non-one-line dialogue. 8)
  12. That's true. My guitar teacher and I were discussing it - pop is basically nursery rhymes with layers of whatever genre people like at that time. With Green Day, it's incredibly accessible, it's simple and it's easy to listen to - probaby because the lyrics and music lack any complication. It's pretty hollow music, and the fact that people can play it easier, has the potential to make the music even more accessible and likeable. Having said that, although I personally think the music is rather crap, their simple riffs and solos (if you can dignify them with that title ... September Ends is a 4-note solo with the exact same pattern; no bends, no noteworthy licks, no hammer-ons or speed that make solos good), means it is, to an extent, a good way to start. But once you get good, steer clear of them.
  13. Yeah ... the spheric idea would be quite hard to work with. But, in theory, it's possible with barriers ... i.e., there would be a barrier south of the Lumbridge Swamps, but you could still see the final levels of the wilderness. It's possible, but, it's probably rather impractical. Ah, yes, that is true ... but I doubt (or at least I hope that) Jagex would mention another land without intentions to create it. Unless they're just trying to be cruel ...
  14. Firstly: Learn some grammar - your posts are incredibly difficult to read. Try wording things a bit better so you don't come off as begging. Don't use so many emoticons in your post. It makes my eyes bleed. Secondly: As indicated on the TET December Calendar, there is a drop party to be held to celebrate the new year. As stated on this page:
  15. Oh yeah ... on the topic of the C&C stuff. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/com ... %20conquer
  16. I originally purchased this in 2003, shortly after its release. I played the demo and it looked alright, and at the time I was looking for an RTS to play other than Empire Earth. Unfortunately, it didn't work; it was one of the games that gave me the infamous BSOD (or some similar error), which ended up messing my computer permanently. I had to take it back. I've been recently downloading a bunch of demos, and this was one I came across. For a game made in 2003, and with competitors like Warcraft 3 and the Total War series, it's pretty damn good. I think it was the first to add this element of realism with restrictions that such as city limits, food limits and whatnot, which added a new level of skill required to succeed at the game (as opposed to just massing Elite Unique units on AOE2). I also downloaded a trial of the expansion, which I'll play afterwards to be able to appreciate the difference between the original. I think I'm gonna get the Gold Edition, as it's really promising and I get the impression it's the type of game that will still be widely played on the internet for years to come. It's successor, Rise of Legends, is coming out in February 2006 I believe, but I think I'll wait for the prices to drop. Anyone else have this game or have any recommendations (sp?) for similar RTS games which apply the whole government/city element?
  17. Woah, that is one awesome idea. I was thinking how much more efficient banks would be with organisation ... but wow, that's really efficient. Sign me up as a supporter (If you're doing RS names for the support list, mine is ATL Tomich)
  18. I think sailing would be good as a quest; I suggested in a previous thread about two minutes ago that there could be a quest in Morton to find a passage to the rumoured Eastern Lands, and you must access this passage by sailing through rocks, dangerous waters and similar obstacles. After that, there could be a mini-game related to it. But as a whole, I don't think sailing should have a huge part in RS.
  19. Hey ... a spheric RS world! That'd be really cool. I never thought of that. I'd like to see an upgrade to the whole "eastern lands". I don't remember much of them, but I'm pretty sure they were mentioned in Ghosts Ahoy, and possibly some other Mor'ton quests. It'd be really cool to see a huge juxtaposition there, where it could be a land of ghosts and you could like become a ghost or something. It'd be cool if there was like a quest that involved sailing and finding a passage to the eastern lands through various caves, dangerous waters and what have you.. And it'd be nice to have another wilderness section, north of Mor'ton. I guess I just really like Morton :)
  20. Usually for Christmas lunch we'd have a roast lamb with my paternal grandparents, but this time we're having a barbecue with my favourite barbecue dish: mango chicken. We spend the evening with my mum's family; her mother, brothers and their families. There's no specific dish we have as everyone always brings something, and then the host makes another main meal so it's like a banquet. But one of my uncle's boyfriends is singaporean (I think ... it's somewhere from southeast Asia), so he always makes oriental exotic dishes, and my other uncle's wife is from south east asia, so it's a fairly varied meal. Personally ... I like christmas chocolates and whatnot. But I've never had a christmas ham in my life :(
  21. Your interpretation of metal may vary from other's greatly.
  22. I'm not sure i'd agree with that. Chili's use a lot of finger picking, i've always advised people to learn songs by people like Nirvana or Green Day, mainly because they use power chords (for the most part), and any solo's they play are easy to figure out. Californication (plus the solo), Otherside, By the Way, Under the Bridge, Save the Population were pretty easy riffs beginners could probably learn. I'll just say some of their riffs are easy. BUT DO NOT PLAY GREENDAY RIFFS BECAUSE GREENDAY SUCKS. Agreed to the word. I learnt all of those songs in my first couple of months, and californication was the first solo i learnt! Green Day Suck. Another song i'd recomend by the Chilis is Can't Stop. Great song. Simple Riff. Yeah, I can play that. It's an awesome riff. And, although Green Day do suck, their riffs are a good start for beginners.
  23. The Deftones, Cradle of Filth and Slipknot didn't release any studio albums this year. Deftones released B-sides and rarities, but that was all previously available tracks - thus I don't see how they would qualify as best bands of 2005.
  24. Well I dont really (im Ells friend IRL btw). Whats going on? :o A representative for sheet music producers is claiming it illegal for sites to publish artist's tabs, and is going to begin filing suits in 2006. Many sites (such as PowerTab, which, if it wasn't for these lawsuits, I would suggest), have had to disable access to their tablature to avoid legal action. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=369827&highlight= http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4508158.stm
