  1. Well you do flame and piss almost everyone off. This thread never failed, he got what he wanted and you had to act rude for no reason. Immaturity... hahaha.... you're real mature man. On topic: You should talk about evolution being discussed in schools as opposed to Christianity. Examples of where I flame and piss off everyone, please? And I did not act rude in the first place - I made a suggestion and asked him to stop with the slashes. He claimed it failed. Get off my back, again.
  2. Whole thing turned out to nothing? If that's the case than it's only you who is at fault. Look, you asked for suggestions. People made suggestions. I pointed out that it's necessary to have those things in your title topic because I think it's just a way of getting attention - if your posts are really worth reading, then you don't need to add that stuff. If you want people to reply, make a good topic or give it a good title without that crap. I made a suggestion and asked you to stop, you attacked me; claiming that I "piss off every topic", accusing me of flaming and implying that I'm a nitpicking nerd with no life; when in fact, I merely POINTED out something, and I barely ever post in the same threads as you, so how the hell do I "piss off every topic"? I then defended myself, and you made a suggestion, to which I replied that it was your interpretation and not my wording at fault. You then proceeded to accuse me of getting the last word, when I was merely backing up my point - and I was in every necessary position to do so, as this all spawned out of you attacking me; when, your accusation in fact proved that you were a hypocrite. Seriously, YOU are the one who jumped on my back. The only reason this thread failed was due to your immaturity and your false accusations. Grow up.
  3. Well I haven't done Monkey Madness and don't intend to for a while so I don't use a scimmy ... but I quite like the long. It has a good stab attack, the special is alright and the speed isn't that bad. Perhaps I shall get both; each have their own practical application.
  4. Plant Cure potions are one of the few useful potions that cannot be made using herblore. They're used by farmers in most harvests of crops, and they can save you a lot of time; rather than digging up plants, replanting etc. Am I the only one who thinks you should be able to make these using herblore? I was thinking you could make a plant cure potion at a lower level that's three dose, then a "super plant potion" which lasts for longer (think super anti-poison), and possibly another potion which is only one dose, but means that the crop cannot become diseased again. I believe something along those lines could be very beneficial, especially since carrying around lots of one-dose plant cures can be tedious (and to my knowledge you can't poor them into make more doses). Perhaps we could use an already existing herbs that has few other purposes, or a new herb that can only be grown via farming? Or perhaps even a goutweed? Any similar ideas/suggestions?
  5. Until you find out the parents download hardcore pr0n and the computer is full of keyloggers :)
  6. The excitement is lost on me. I just embrace it as a time to catch up with my extended family.
  7. I don't quite understand ... if he asks for a guam, and you give, say, Irit instead, would he give you an agility potion? Or is it progressive - i.e. after you give him a guam, he'll ask for a Marrentil, and if you give him that he asks for a tarromin etc?
  8. That was just your interpretation. If you get that defensive I'm surprised you're still at that forum.
  9. Not really interested in CS in the slightest. I'm thinking I'll wait for the new Rise of Nations and possibly get Guild Wars, AOE3 or CoD2. Thanks for all the input folks!
  10. Like we don't know those guys came with those bands. "                         " lol freaking. btw this place is boring without arguements so i just like starting them. Gives you something to look for when your online. Plus you get to express your true feelings as shown in bold red above. Starting arguments for the hell of it is just stupid. Try an intellectual debate if you're that bored.
  11. Yeah, that's a cool show. That and Family Guy are on back-to-back on Sunday's here so that's a good hour of comedy. We used to have Family Guy here in the morning; the station thought it was a children's show, but then realised it was quite the opposite. Now they show it at 9:30PM on Thursdays, followed by American Dad. I watched it for the first time in ages ... and damn it's good.
  12. Calm down kiddo. I wasn't flaming you. I was just pointing out why it's unnecessary to put that at the beginning and end of all your topics. I don't "piss off every topic" either. And what does being a nerd have to do with it? Honestly ...
  13. Shouldn't American Dad be on this list?
  14. Ah yeah, I remember Secret Window. That was pretty good. Johnny Depp is a lot more talented than I remember.
  15. "Sir, remove that pacifier ... NOW!"
  16. Well I've got $300 or so to spend (AUS), and I was looking to spend about $100 of that on video games. I'm specifically looking at PC games, as I still have two more GTA's to get through on PS2. I want something that's different and has online capabilities and support, because I like to meet people in new games. RS isn't cutting it for me at the moment; or rather, one game that's rather repetitive isn't cutting it. Quake 4 multiplayer is getting boring and I think I'm done with Warcraft 3. I'm mainly looking for something that is either an open war FPS game, an online-based RPG* or a real-time strategy (that preferrably is not set in modern times; i.e. not a modern war RTS). I've compiled a list from ebgames.com, based on the rating, graphics, style and multiplayer support of the games featured in new release, strategy and shooter. I did have to trawl through a lot of crap though. I found some promising games that are out and others that are set for next year. So at this stage I'm looking at (although I haven't played any demos or watched many gameplay movies yet): Battle for Middle Earth Bliztkreig 2 Age of Empires III Star Wars Battlefront II Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends* Star Wars: Empire At War* Company of Heroes* Sniper Elite Call of Duty 2 * = set for release in 2006 Jan-May. RON looks stunning and the new Star Wars seems good. I've been hearing rave reviews about Call of Duty; it's just a matter of whether it's a more open-map game (like Battlefield) or enclosed areas (like Return to Castle Wolfenstein), So, anybody have any of these games? Played them? Have any advice to give about them? Any input welcome. Thanks in advance.
  17. Let's keep in mind that woopidoo is a hardcore christian and I assume goes to a christian school.

That is awesome. I wish my grandparents were like that. And she does have a good attitude. There's not much she can do to enjoy herself at that age, and she seems like a pretty unique person, so what a great way to live the last years of your life.
  19. Is it really necessary to use /\/\/\/\ at the beginning and end of all your titles? It's annoying and of no use. If you want people to notice your topic, then use a catchy but relevant title or something. And in answer to your question: since this is an RS forum and I assume you still play RS, how about violence in video games (discuss your view; whether it promotes real life violence or not etc).
  20. What sucks even more is that, to avoid any possible legal action, the site I visit for my tablature (PowerTab Archives) has now had to disable their downloading of tabs unless it is one made and submitted by a user of the website.
  21. Looks like online tablature may now be disallowed. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4508158.stm
  22. That was the same for me, for both things
  23. AThousandLies replied to Random's topic in Off-Topic
It seems like there's even a hand-held game to go with it ... They're certainly trying to milk it ... maybe for a bit more than it's worth though.
  24. Ugh. The Treasure Trails Guide is your friend. [quoete]Clothes shop in Canifis, search the boxes. You must have completed the Priest in Peril Quest to enter Canifis.
