  1. I wonder how I could get rid of that nasty Clippy once for all...
  2. meol replied to peterspliid's topic in Off-Topic
I think he means a typical number like when you're calling to a friend's house, for example. (Unless such numbers do start with 1-800-__)
  3. I'm a normal guy, not like all you obsessive freaks out there! Except for the not-standing-near-a-microwave-while-it's-running thingy, stepping on patterns, examining everything on Runescape, not standing writing a word wrong, even in Chats, trying to be systematic while solving problems, and the like... Hmm...
  4. It's been a looong while since I last played Magic (back from the Mirrodin block), and that looks nowhere near a Magic Card... It's incredible how much it's changed in the last years... :-k
  5. Sorry, no dumb rules here, apart from having to wear the school uniform: a specific orange t-shirt they sell us, and black pants of any kind. :D During class it depends only on the teacher, some let us eat/drink in class, some other don't, it's pretty flexible in here.
  6. I'd say the government will only give away cars and the like for married couples... Just my thinking, I might be wrong, I don't know know much about the current Russian Government. Oh, poor Lenin, what has your land turned into? You get gifts for having sex, FMS!
  7. Do I win for upload speed? [Edit]This is to a server located in the neighbouring country to the north (nearest one): This one is to a server located in Berlin: Now I feel cheated. I'll try with a couple of other servers. Yep, it went up to 443 / 210 for San Jos̮̩̉̉, California. I still have one of the lowest speeds here.
  8. How does war help the economy? It was F. Roosevelt's New Deal which got the U.S. out of the Great Depression. Also, it might be true that the war created jobs, but the reason is not because the U.S. were partaking on it, but because the U.S. were (and still are) one of the biggest weapons producers on the world, and the European countries needed those weapons. In fact, just sustaining the military (not taking into account current wars) is a big load on the economy: It's $439 thousand millions a year, plus whatever Afghanistan and Iraq cost at the moment. [Check any of the links above] You can't tell me that spending that much tax money on military is healthy for the economy. Even if you say it's necessary and whatsoever, you need a strong economy to sustain such expenditures, but even so, it's weakened by it. Now add the current War on Terrorism and the Crusade for Holy Democracy in Iraq. 9. Your stats seem quite fine, but you should use a rune weapon against the dragon (a scimitar is your best option), you don't really need protection prayers, but if you feel like it, getting 43 prayer makes both fights extremely easy. Also, strength pots aren't necessary, but they are very useful for the fights. In my opinion, you should bring rune helm and legs to the island (along with a rune weapon), so that you'll protect them if you die. The rest of the armour and your inventory seems fine, but you should a teleport in order to get out quickly after killing the dragon, or before the dragon/demon kills you 1. You'll do fine with that, but try to save up food for the last fight. Silverlight is better than an addy weapon, and cheaper than a rune weapon (if you get killed, you'll have to pay 600 gp instead of 25k+, so I'd take it. 2. If you are going to get a rune weapon, (which I highly recommend), I'd suggest you to use a scimitar, as it provides a nice speed-strength ratio.

And to add to the above: It can't get trimmed, nor can you use it to trim another skill cape. You'll need two 99's for that.

Yep, you need to wield them to get the effect.
  12. ['gi̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâ÷li̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâ÷nor] for me. As pronouncing 'Gilinor' in German or 'GuÃÆÃâÃâílinor' in Spanish.
  13. The Enchanted Valley and Dragontooth Island for sure.
  14. I'm playing an oldie here: Majora's Mask
  15. I do believe people can get healed because of their faith, but I don't believe on faith healing itself. If there are people who suffer from psychosomatic illnesses, why can't they also be psychosomatically healed as well? Mind over body.

  17. Well, not many jokes in Runescape for me. Only one comes up to my mind at the moment: --: I have to say it... I love you! --: OMG wp!!
  18. My only goal has been getting a quest cape, and I must admit, the funniest thing was the path there. I never saw it as a chore (except for getting the WC requirement for Grim Tales, that was awful), and it was really worth it when I finally got the Cape. Now, I still play, but there's a lot less of a reason for me.
  19. It'd be something very delicate, in my opinion. Sometimes l337 posts are only written to mock on the people that write like that, and sometimes posts that supposedly are written in English are the ones which I can't understand.
  20. The knowledge basesays: So I'd say they won't help. You should cook the Chef's Ranged in Lumbridge, though, it helps for all types of food.

Sorry to leave you with the hanging question, the Iron mines are located north of Yanille's Bank, also known as the Port Khazard Mines. You could also mine a few mithril while going to/from the bank, if you wanted.
  22. Use 4 logs. Use the green rope twice. Relax twice/until you reach the end of the cloud. Use the green rope again. Relax until you are in front of the bird. use the green rope. Use a log. relax until you are in front of the next bird. Use the green rope. Use two logs. Relax until you are beyond the first cloud in the second screen, use two logs. Relax until you are in front of the next bird. Use the red rope twice. Relax until you are in front of the next bird. Drop a sandbag. Relax until you are in front of the castle's left flag. Drop another sandbag. Relax once, and then use the green rope twice. Drop another sandbag. Relax until you are on top of the centre flag (to the right of it), and use the green rope twice. If you aren't below a bird, relax, but if you do, drop another sandbag. Relax once, and use the red rope. Wait until you are above the castle's rightmost part, and use the red rope once, then the green one, and relax.
  23. There are different ways to go in the inner ring of the abyss, where the rifts to the different altars are. All but one of them require a skill: either thieving, agility, woodcutting, mining or firemaking. You should bring a pickaxe, as there is almost always a mining or an agility option to get in there. I'd suggest you to read Tip.it's entry on the abyss as well, it may give you some useful information.

Iron is still the best exp, so you could mine iron in Yanille and bank it, mayb combine it with some coal in the Trucks to lower the prices of smithing (though it's quite lower exp)-
