Paris Hilton Makes Me Want To Rip Out My Spleen With A Spoon
I don't think we can blame Paris for 14 year old girls living their fantasy worlds. Did she ask to be a role model for them? If she did, I'd say she's doing a terrible job. But if not, then people imitating Paris are just stupid. Be yourself instead. Of course, but generally 14 year old girls are too naieve to know any better. Seeing as parenting is on the decline, we should demand more from influential media figureheads like Paris. In a perfect world parents would tell teach thier 14 year old girls not to act like people like Paris but it's not always that easy. Believe me, I hate making excuses for bad parents but either thousands of them change thier attitude or one person, Paris, does. She's not the only one to blame though, of course.

Underage Drinking
Contrary to popular belief, a beer belly isn't caused by beer. All it does is make us more susceptible to eat bad food like pizza, macdonalds or whatever. Haha, c'mon all you drinkers, you know it's the truth. God knows I don't think about salad with a six pack under my belt. :P

Worst Fear
Same here. I've always loved the idea of actually seeing an alien but at the same time I'm always incredibly alert when I'm outside (alone) at night. I dunno why, but after seeing Signs the idea of seeing an alien when I'm alone creeeps me out. Put a few friends (or just one girl) by my side and suddenly I've got the more confidence than anyone can hope for. Man signs scared the crap out of me, amazing movie IMO. (one of the few that made me actualy jump). But yeah when I was younger I'd lay in bed at night and think about it, would generaly scare the crap out of myself lol. Me too, to be honest. The depiction of the aliens with camera shots of either a silhouette or a foot going into the corn fields etc brought the tension and nerves up and then that part where there was video of a kids birthday party and one walked by clear as day scared the bejesus out of me. Haha, I actually looked over my shoulder while typing this. :anxious:

Interesting montages on American consumerism
Haha, I found that impressive too. :) Many of them are quite shocking. I'd hope that countries like the U.S are world leaders in recycling.

Underage Drinking
And won't get a second chance to either, sadly. Fair point. Happy birthday by the way. :P

Paris Hilton Makes Me Want To Rip Out My Spleen With A Spoon
The difference between her and anyone else in her lifestyle position is that she basks in the fact that she's famous, she's always on TV and that she's an heiress (granted, I'm speculating, but I'd say it's a safe bet). I don't so much loathe her as a person (if I gave her a spray earlier on, factor in this new post as a more accurate depiction of my opinion on the matter), but the fact that she is so popular among 14 year old girls who don't know the first thing about reality and try to emulate her every move as if it's a realistic and viable life to live. The whole celebrity/popular/fasionable culture just anoys me sometimes.

Underage Drinking
I'd say underage drinking has made me more responsible with alcohol, but that's just me (I'm 18, and these days [well, lately] I only drink beer and do so because I like the taste and/or am thirsty, I haven't actually been drunk in a while). Overall, I think if underage kids want to drink, they should really limit themselves to an amount that dosen't get them wasted.

Fate: Fact or False?
So it dosen't matter if your belief is true or not and you never act on your wishes? If my interpretation is wrong tell me, but I just find that a bit odd.

Nothing wrong with that. According to Carlos Mencia prostitution and/or being called a [bleep] or a hoe is a compliment. :P I think he means that she's a media prostitute, which is much more publicly shameful.

What are you listening to right now!?
Pantera - This Love. Ohhh Yeaaahhhhh... 8-) :P Although I can't help but feel a subtle sadness these days knowing the mastery of Dimebag and Vinnie together will never be again. :(

The chav VS Emo arguement were do you come in
To the gallows with the lot of em' But seriously, I don't really personally mind either as I've never met one of either. I've seen emos but they've never bothered me so naturally I have no reason to dislike them.

How 2 worlds become one.
What an idiot. Yet another person who needs a firm smack up the side of the bleeping head.

Fate: Fact or False?
Theoretically speaking, however it's practically and physically impossible. Saying you have free will over your choices is fallacious, any choice you have arises from a combination of causal chains. For example the choice to eat a hamburger needs the following causal chains to occur: you are hungry, the store is open, the weather is good, your taste buds react positively to hamburgers, you had good experiences with hamburgers, you have enough money etc. It's not as free as you think. Your brain is made up of the same stuff as everything else in the universe, so it be reasonable that it follows the same laws. It's not a quantum physical concept, it's a motivational video sugar coated to appear as science. Of course if you are continually striving for something, you are more likely to achieve it; that's common sense. The secret is 'hard work and dedication,' which really isn't a secret at all. If you actually knew what Law of Attraction was and understood it properly you would know it requires not striving for anything. You obviously don't understand the concept so at least know what you're talking about before having an opinion on it. I'd like to hear about it's scientific credentials if you have any spare time to do so. I've been critical of it myself in a previous post but that's only because all I've seen of it is a backpatting philosophy on life program about it.

Theres just no justice
It's not my job to care for each of you as it's not your job to care for me. Oh, forgive me for having love and compassion for humanity. You should try it sometime. What's the point of even attempting to care for humanity? We are the only species that kills its own for no reason. Attempting to care for something full of heartless scum is utter rubbish, the best you can do is care for your family/friends and i suggest u stop there It's that kind of attitue that makes the world 'full' (actually, I'd argue the majority of people on this planet are decent) of heartless scum. Ironically, I could argue that kind of attitude is heartless. Just do enough to make everything ok for me and the people I have to live with and screw everyone else because they are heartless... It probably means nothing to you but I wrote a song which pretty much sums up that attitude. So sickening and heartless it is when philanthropists don't exist... I could only imagine how much more heartless this rock would be if we stopped caring.

Sarcasm or sincerity?

Fate: Fact or False?
i refuse to get into an argument with you because its like talking to a brick wall That's against the rules and rather annoying. Either argue like a normal person without resorting to misquoting or just don't bother.

the universe
... The velocity of a moving particle has nothing to do with the speed of light. If the gravity of the black hole sucks it in, it's velocity moving away from the event horizon will accelerate (negatively, ok, decelerate if you want) until it's vector reverses and it accelerates towards the black hole. And technically, 'c' isn't always constant as it moves at different velocities through different media. Bah, bow to my superior 10 weeks knowlege of introductory physics. :P

community service
=P~ Anyway what would encourage me to come to a community service project? I'd say probably show how advantaged you and like folk are that you can go to a university, get a quality education and have all of these great things compared to the lower classes of society. A bit of emotional propoganda is ok with me if it's not detrimental to those involved and for a good cause. :P

Paris Hilton Makes Me Want To Rip Out My Spleen With A Spoon
She violated her terms of probation because she "didn't really look at the contract [she] signed." Oh, and she's very sorry and she'll never do it again and will now obey the law please get her out of jail oh please oh pretty please. Really, it's about time a judge had the testicular fortitude to throw a hack like Paris into prison. She's not even hot. Indeed, the taletless media [prostitute] that is Paris Hilton should not get any kind of special treatment and should really be stood up to by the law. Afterall, what's more important in a society... Paris Hilton or the law? I don't know who to dispise more... Her or people for actually idolising her. Hurrah for people and our great shallow society, yeah! [/sarcasm][/pessimism][/negativity]

Fate: Fact or False?
It certainly is a powerful tool, the human mind. However I can't help but feel if the law of attraction wants proper credence (if it actually demands it, I'm not sure) it should choose what medium it portrays itself through more wisely. It would be taken more seriously as a science than a philosophy, if you get what I'm saying. But hey, I could be wrong; it could actually have scientific journals written about it (enlighten me, someone). It's just from what I've seen - a TV program - it's all a self fulfilling psychological, philosophical prophecy. Be optimistic and you'll be happier; that part's easy, it's just the materialistic appeal that makes me doubt it's 'law' tagline (again, feel free to enlighten me on the issue, I'm no expert).

Photographic Proof of a Black Hole?
I'll get right on to phoning god about turning the lightswitch 'on' from 'off'. LOL.

Australia is dying ~ -NO JOKE- ~
I disagree with the article concerning the above paragraph. Its got little do to with global warming its got to do with the prolonged El Nino effect which cause drought, and Australia is only drifting less than a metre a year, so thats an absurd statement the article made in determining the cause of the drought. Though the increase demand of water and growing population I can agree with. Besides that the article is not exaggerated and there is a major problem in the Eastern and Southern states of Australia concerning drought. We also need to note that its not all of Australia effected, as the North Western Australia has been receiving much higher than average rainfall lately after the recent cyclones up there. Same with north queensland and just recently (probably 2 weeks-ish ago now) there was flooding and crazy rain up the top end of the northern territory.

What are your favourite bands.. and why?
Brr, they're so cold. There's really nothing in their music. Ultimate proof that having the technical side covered isn't everything. Their music just doesn't work for me. Try the song Erotomania. I dunno, it just gets me every time. I love it. Anyway of couse, as with all music, it comes down to taste.

Fate: Fact or False?
We don't know our own destiny, that's why life's exciting. It's preplanned, but we don't know the plan. that's why life intrests us. What makes you say it's pre-planned? If it is like you say it is then there is no such thing as choice since every 'choice' would just be part of a plan.
