  1. I'm looking forward to hearing it. Australian Idol??...wait no....you want a career right?yeh, no aus idol Hahaha, well said. Aussie/American/any 'Idol' is so superficial.
  2. My guitar and the music I write. :boohoo: It's like counselling for me. Maybe one day you will all get to hear some. Although some of it is morbidly grotesque, and some is sad. It's almost a direct reflection of my feelings.
  3. It's my birthday today too!! I'm going to the cricket.
  4. Yes, Tsnamis, floods, water can be deadly Well, Mother Nature isn't the nicest mother around. Well said. When will she start being nice again? Will we have to sacrifice some one? You? No, i'm sorry Viktor, it must be you, for you see, us Australians are the chosen ones. :P
  5. You kow what, I thought that water was the best thing for you, and that you can drink lots of it. But yeh, Rule Of Thumb What you said is true.. Water is still one of the best (or the best, I don't really know), and you can and should drink a lot. But as ShadowFaxPZ stated, you can drink too much. But it's still good to drink a nice, healthy amount. It's ironic how we couldn't have life on earth without water, but it can kill you.
  6. Correct. The human body is in equilibrium. Too much or too little of anything can kill and it's really as simple as that. Too much water can dilute the electrolytes in your blood. The osmotic balance between your bloodstream and cells then shifts as your cells begin to take on too much water and they cease to function. This leads to siezures, coma and death.

Few statements have less truth than that, I geuss you've never heard of Opium. Wow looking back on this topic I love how people who on-the-spot admitt to never trying smoking try and tell smokers what it does to you or how it makes you feel. Honestly if you havn't tried it you need to answer the question and not lecture actual smokers on their habitt, because you DON'T know. I'll quote myself from my most recent post: I'm not pretending to be an expert on the issue but I know that niccotine is addictive. I have smoked before and my whole family are smokers. And yes, I have heard of opium, but I guess you know more about it then me... Good luck with that. Edit: I decided to do a little research on the addictive nature of nicotine. Source 1 This site shows a comparison of the addictiveness and other attiributes of several drugs, including nicotine. Look at the second and third sections specifically, in the second section look at the rating given to nicotine for dependancy, then the discription given for dependancy below. Source 2 Have a quick read of this article, but I want to draw your attention to this section specifically - Source 3 Have a quick read of this article, but I want to draw your attention to this section specifically - Source 4
  8. Yes. Something you put on your skin can be just as dangerous as that which you consume. There are some pretty nasty substances out there, if we don't test them (no matter how they are taken), they can kill.

Whatever floats your boat. I'd never do it though. Too many dark secrets. :uhh: :P
  10. Try deaths of a few million rats, or at least hundreds of thousands. Still insignificant compared to worldwide rat/mice populations. Those used in science are basically at 0 risk of extinction, if thats what your getting at.
  11. Add Cheers to my list as well, just remembered that show lol. Used to watch it all the time on Nick-at-nite  I'd probably have the same list, just switching Seinfeld and Cheers.
  12. Yes, but I would have to ask those who want be healed to come to me, I aint going around the world millions of times to save people. I could charge people for the healing too, say... 1 cookie per healing? =P~
  13. Fine. But I'm only doing this because later I will 'use' you to visit the GBR. Good. Why is everyone saying Seinfield? I don't find it that funny Seinfeld is hilarious!!! I love it. Best. Sitcom. Ever. I also found Cheers very funny.
  14. Shes apologised for that now and said she should hagve done more research into it. Its not entirely her fault, PETA regularly lie and decieve in order to gain support. In that case, I feel kind of sorry for Pink. :shame: PETA
  15. Ditto. It's essential to find the workings of medications without killing ourselves. Is it more wrong to kill humans or animals? Humans, of course. Therefore, testing medicine on animals is the lesser necessary of two evils, even though it's not evil (just thought i'd use the term). @ Parabola, nice research in the post on this page. What I like to see in an argumentative discussion.
  16. Me too, I would be against panda fur, but what is wrong with plentiful rabbit fur? Nothing. If i made a coat out of human scalps and one out of panda skin, which would be worse? Human because its people, or panda coz its rarer? This smacks of Ed Gein
  17. Nice, im guessing at university? If i had the chance i probably would dissect a human. Its good for people to know what they look like, inside and out. I'd do it. It would feel much different to dissecting a rat, I bet. Not as in being squeemish, but the knowlege that you are cutting into what was once a preson.
  18. I dissected a rat. Quite interesting. After we did what we needed to do, which was to unravel the intestines from memory, me and other frinds decided to sever sever rats heads.
  19. I just watched a GREAT tennis match in the Aussie Open. Cypriat Marcos Bagdadis and Frenchman Gael Monfeils (spelling of both names is unsure) played a four-setter, with the underdog frenchman coming out on top. His tennis was incredible, unlike any style I had ever seen. His court coverage, althleticism and enthusiasm were incredible. I didn't concider myself a tennis fan prior to tonight, but now I do.
  20. Get a close up of the "GT" and the circular insignia on the head. Not really sure at the moment.

That makes sense, although I think what you show here is something that falls under a fear of microorganisms/fungal spores or more generally, a fear of sickness or falling ill, which I have also.
  22. Anything with the words psychic or star signs I generally don't take any notice of. The most pointless thing you could buy?... :-k A gun. If the point of something is to take a human's life, to me, it is pointless. :boohoo:
  23. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with that at all. Unless they are opposed to eating meat.
