You don't like it, but you feel you need to conform yourself? Do what Nadril said, get new friends. It's just the way the world is.
  2. Does that make it right? It's right to them, (the parents) yet most probably those being araged into the marriage won't agree. It's not fair on both of them.

Where did you find them? I know the middle colour, but when I type it in, it dosen't work. What am I doing wrong?

the crossword one is easy, you just have to be patient. solve the puzzle by allingning the red x's with actual letter x's on the crossword, then solve the puzzle, it's easy, just take your time, piece by piece. After that, it shows a message which actually tells you the '.htm' answer. errdoth, 15 is the 'join the dots' one, it's killing me.

15 is a killer. Errdoth, any ideas?
  8. here's another hint: scientists don't research and use give thier knowledge away for free. who do you think pays them? thats right, they are being paid by people with political intrests. conservative parties pay scientists big money to invest all thier time and research into proving that global warming doesnt exist, and liberal parties pay different scientists to prove that the opposite is true. now the fact that global emissions exist is impossible to deny. but the theory that these "bad" emissions are the sole cause of the warming of the earth is just that, a theory. look at the history of the earth, even before mankind existed, the earth went through several temperature cycles, there have been several ice ages as well as several periods of warmth. i love how people think that just because al gore made a movie, he is an expert on anything. he's still just a lowlife politician. I've never seen Al Gore's movie and I don't really care about it. Tell me: What does someone have to gain by spreading the truth about Co2 out-put being bad for Earth? Oil companies can't sell oil anymore? And? Then what? It's not like Al Gore is a Hydrogen Technology tycoon paying off these scientists. It's pretty simple. If you know anything about science, you can make the connections and say our oil consumption is surely hurting the world. It's getting so much attention because all the ice-caps in the world are freakin' disappearing completely. We've never had this happen before in recorded history, and using simple logic, it's obviously our fault. Does Earth naturally go through this process? Yes, but we're also helping induce it very greatly. Like I said - simple logic. Co2 = heat trapped inside the Earth. When we pump a billion metric tons of Co2 into sky on a daily basis, we can't really just say "Isn't our fault!" now can we? I agree with tigra on both accounts. As for those doubters out there - A website even kids could understand. Theres even a link to all sorts of games, try the climate change knowlege test. I scored 10/10
  9. Thats heavy dude. I'd be lying if I knew how to deal with it, as I have never had to. The best advice I could give is to talk to your family/friends about it.

Wow, I did level 10 in no more that 30 seconds, the easiest one yet. :D edit: Unbelievable: up to 11 now, took me 2 mins to do level 10. edit: Level 13. 12 took me no more than 30 seconds again. These last few have been easy.

Ok, up to level 10. Arch, i'm not actually sure how I passed level 9, but I did, heres my idea: (spoilers) ok, the clue had the yellow box connected to another by a line, so i did this with the boxes I was asked to (grey = black to white, green = blue to yellow and orage = red to yellow) which gave me one area in the centre of the list which contained eggs, sugar and bread. Now the reason I put in the answer was that I suppose you need it to help make fench toast. Was that yourthinking behind it?
  12. You know what would really kick povert in the [wagon], if every rich person in the world was taxed a small percentage and that money then given to the poor.
  13. Haha, reminds me of that VB add. :D
  14. I couldn't agree more, if someone just spouts ther opinion without any justification whatsoever, it just annoys me. Justifying your opinion with some sort of reasoning, however = smart and makes for a much better discussion/argument.
  15. Well the way I (and apparantly everyone else does do far) see it, it's kind of a weaker moral predicament and theres no real feeling of wrongdoing if you were to put it down.
  16. Sharks In Your Mouth - I Killed the Prom Queen \m/
  17. And that shows a great leader; someone who can admit their mistakes. Yet, even if he admits them, hes still labled an idiot if he continues them, which Bush is doing here. I'd have to agree with you there. I think he was going to cut down troop numbers, now he's having this 'surge'.
  18. My family eats rabbit and Kangaroo fairly often; I supose. So it's pretty straight that I have no problem with anyone wearing the fur of animals - so long as they aren't endangered. You know what? I just realised i've never tried that. I'l have to. :D
  19. For me this situation would be less about morals and more about the reality of the situation. Paying $2100 for a hamster when you payed $8 for it is just unrealistic and almost foolishness. Sure, you may love the hamster as a pet, but I doubt you could love a hamster as much as a cat or dog. off topic @ jem: dude, that new sig is disturbing.
  20. I have no beef against science (I'm even studying for a science degree), your post said that science follows the scientific method (and went on to describe what you call the scientific method) and I pointed out it was factually incorrect. Your account is still practical for many scientists however its just wrong; Much in the same way Newtonian Gravitation is still useful yet wrong. That's not to say that it doesn't follow a method, it's just not the one you are referencing to. It doesn't even encompass everything we call science now so how would it be the scientific method. Again, i'll say that I know that the scientific method does not encapsulate the entire realm of science nor does it dictate the one and only definate way of performing science (I think i've said this 3 times now) but you can't objectively say it's wrong if many scientists use the scientific method. You can't judge Newtonian Gravitation as 'wrong' either, there's just a better way of explaining it with Eienstien's theory of relativity. Now i'll give you a chance to present me with a method that encapsulates all of science. And it's good to hear your studying a science degree, whats your major? I'm starting a science degree this year, planning on majoring in biochemistry.
  21. Thats kind of narrow minded... Just because they dont like the leader dosent mean they dont like the country. I know of many people who don't like our Prime Minister - John Howard but they would never leave the country because of it.
  22. When does he ever not? :P There needs to be serious political resolutions made in Iraq, as well as security forces ongoing support. If the U.S. troops leave before the government is stable, the whole country will likely descend furthur into civil war.

Ok, im on 8 now, tell me if im on the right track: the clue: 2x8=u and the title "SMS" helped me figure out the clue, no biggy there, hit '8' twice on a mobile and our get 'u' when writing an sms. the answer: I'm assuming that it has to be a word? or 5 letters corresponding to thier number on a mobile keypad, correct? the picture: I'm thinking these guys hae something to do with te answer as they have numbers on them... not sure how to link them and the answer though.

up to level 7... Heres my thoughts.. (spoiler) The rather demonic sound that plays is a piece of music backwards. the clue esentially is "run - sndrec32" in reverse, which means you have to run the program sound recorder, record 'satans hidden message' and play it backwards. I can't do this as I dont have a microphone to pick up the sound. After this, I think you search for it, because the arrow on the game screen points stright at a google search bar in my browser. I could be wrong though. What do you think?
