No it can't. Don't get me wrong, I'm an agnostic, science student through and through, but there is absolutely NOT any definitive proof of the derivation of life on Earth. Spontaneous evolution of single-celled organisms is a POSSIBILITY, so is extra-terrestrial seeding, neither has been PROVED to be the case. While science can argue with proof the case for evolution from the earliest fossil record up to modern man, which Creationism cannot do, it still cannot point to the moment when life came to be. So if you don't know where life comes from, how can you say you know where it goes? Perhaps one day we will know. And as for the 'Spontaneous evolution of single-celled organisms', I don't think so. A more sensible way would be first the creation of amino acids, then polypeptides, then a series of complementing polypeptides, then a way to systematically organise the creation and arrangement of these polypeptides (i.e. nucleic acids arranged in the form of DNA/RNA) then, down the line, single celled organisms.

Top 5 and why: (not in order) GTA San andreas - A great game with a huge amount of things to do before you complete it. Age of Empires II - Strategy games thrill me. This one is different in many ways and it's great to build an empire from scratch. I need help. I can't get anywhere near the levels you guys are, what am I doing wrong? I know I have to upgrade my towerd and that quality is etter than quantity, but I just don't have enough money to combat the strength of the monsters, they just keep getting through. I must disagree there. One persons oppression can barely be an other person's liberty. Nobody would feel "free" being a slave just because it's 'culture' no matter what their point of view is. Freedom is not really a matter of 'view'. Even many citizens of North Korea realize they're not even nearly free, they just have no means to voice it. While I agree with you mostly, I'd like to draw your attention to tyrants with a cult of personality. The people of the country (some of them, not all) are so brainwashed by the charm and charisma of the tyrant that they basically worship them.

That's kind of ignorant. Sure we might think it's wrong, but obviously the parents in these cultures don't, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.

After reading the examples given by LGBR and Crimsonking, it kind of makes me really dissapointed that teachers could be so ignorant and cruel. They ultimately have the power over whether we pass or fail as they have the potential to be corrupt. But no matter what happens or has happened to all of you, remember this: your sucess as a human being is never judged by numbers, letters or scores on a test. :)

It kinda dosen't really work that way. Conformity (in its most common context) is appealing to the masses for the sole purpose of being 'like' them. I've had friends come up with the argument - "but by being a non-conformist, your conforming to non conformity". In the case of the context of the word conformity mentioned above, that's not true at all.

Marxism does not necessarily enslave. Look at the government owned industries like NASA, the Navy and the postal service. Those are technically socialist, and they don't "enslave". I pretty much totally agree. In theroy, communism throughout the globe would make everyone equal with little movement for expression. It would quelch terrorism but make us all slaves of the state.

Why is it an admirable quality? All I am saying, is the truth... If Christians were to be more friendly and welcoming maybe they wouldn't be one of the most hated cultures.(or at least it seems everyone hates Christians -.- ) And just to stay on topic, It won't work. Well being friendly and welcoming when everyone else in your 'group' aren't is admirable. Non conformity and the like. And I don't hate christians, just people who act like ***holes.
