You seem to have forgotten these parts of the game.. not to mention they have to work hard to win matches and series such as the ashes. You think they have an easy time doing that? The two best teams in the world, and you think it all just comes naturally to them and they get centuries and 5 wickets each innings? Firstly - im not acting as if its the most popular or important sport in the world - thats soccer. (do some research and im sure youll find im right) Secondly - cricket is different from many other sports - its history, the players, the teams, the culture, and the integrity of the game are all unique. To blabber on like you are pretending to know everything about cricket when you clearly know nothing is nothing short of an insult. The bolded text in the quote is an extremely ignorant statement - id like to see you face a ball from Shane Warne mate, it would either be a catch (if your lucky enough to even get your bat to the ball), a stumping, because you have no idea where to place yourself on the crease, an lbw, because you would have no chance defending your legs, or most probably, your wicket would be bowled over, with a ball coming around or across your legs. Or how about a 150 kilometer an hour fast ball bouncer from Brett Lee? No doubt your untrained eyes wouldnt have time to pick up the ball and it would hit you square in the chest, shoulder, arm, or head, leaving a nasty bruise. Now im quite positive that I would get out in either of these methods if I faced a ball by Shane Warne as well. If you knew anything about cricket, youd know that the game is not easy - many good players have come and gone without playing in the Australian team or with only having played a handful of tests. nice story, but to be honest, when i saw the title, i thought u meand Glenn Mcgrath (Aussies would understand) hope the bird gets better. I kind of have a similar story actually, a little sad. My brother bought a duck, and didnt treat it well. Once, it was left out, and my dog chased it and kind of hurt it. To see it breathing heavily with a limped wing and kind of on the verge of dying kind of makes you really sad (if you care for animals). It was eventually ok,(i think) and released into the wild... i cost like 12$ i think.. kind of depressing how you can put that kind of value on a living, breathing thing, maybee im over-thinking this too much. o well, take it easy yall.

i agree, the human body is the epitome of the use of matter to make life. Super efficeient (if you dont abuse it) and with huge potential. The 'design' (if you would call it that) is superior.

mate, i dont disagree with you for a second on that one. I truly believe there are no greater heroes than war veterans. But that dosent change the fact that Shane Warne did something of great importance in the game of cricket - he showed test cricket what spin bowling really is and made watching cricket for millions of Australians a worthwhile and exiting thing. Now you may not be able to accept that, but millions of australians (and indeed some poms) can.
