cool, i bet ill do that one day. another thing that makes me happy is when i write music. I play the guitar and writing music has been a passion of mine for some time now. When i write something unique that i like it is kind of theraputic and gives me a great sense of satisfaction.

yes, i have this same problem. I try not to be to critical of them though, thats what 5 year olds do.

totally opposed to that. I strongly believe that kids should form thier own beliefs and opinions over time, without bias from thier parents. (of course i dont want them to start believing that they can break the law/any other rediculous [cabbage] like that) as for your question of 'should faith be a virtue' i dont particularly think so. definition of a virtue: now think about it for a bit, is faith always an efficacious, good, or beneficial quality? - no - sure, it can be, but not always. im sure god can hate.. but his own creation? you said it yourself, god created us (and to my understanding, in his own image) which would mean that he knew we were going to sin... right? otherwise he wouldnt be all-powerful/all-knowing/whatever. To say that us sinning means we deserve death would mean that God himself deserves death. How about this, do you think god can sin? If not, then how is it possible that we sin if we were created in his image. Otherwise, what is the inspiration behind creating sin? Whats the point of making us all 'sinners' just so we are doomed to hell if we dont 'ask for forgivness'... forgiveness from what? yes, you hit the ball and run between the two lines, but if the bails are knocked off the wicket before you get to the other side, you are out and the run/s dont count. If you make 1 run and find yourself at the non-strickers end (where the bowler isnt bowling to) then you must wait for your batting partner to make 1 or 3 so you can get back on strike.
