just because its currently a theory dosent mean it wont one day be proven... Religion (the existance of a god specifically) will always be a theory, never to be proven or disproven. so your conclusion that science is more reliable than christianity at describing cosmology/astrology/space physics/whatever is false.
  2. you are awesome for this suggestion
  3. hmmmm.... id go back to the early 70's and live a psycadelic lifestyle of partying and rock music. \m/ but if need be, id gladly go back in time and fight for my country and the allies in either ww1 or ww2, although id imagine it would be horrible.
  4. i live in brisbane too \ what about southbank? UQ st lucia? ill see if i can find some pics... edit: screw it, heres a picture of the q1 on the gold coast (lil south of brisbane), i was recently there for schoolies week.

do you know what empathy is? i agree, suicide is never the answer, but youd be amazed how many people think it because how cruel we are to ourselves. its a sick, sad world and thats probably the saddest part of all. its almost like others cruelty and emotional abuse 'murdurs' those who commit suicide. being sad becuase someone else makes you is meaningless and i hate feeling that way and the people that make me feel that way. been through alot of [cabbage], but ive never thought of suicide myself.
  7. i'd have to agree, in terms of how my school worshipped like every morning... but in christian studies class, we learnt about all religions (see the irony?), i found that interesting.
  8. its definately partly biological. were programmed to kill and feed, like animals. sad we cant see the difference of killing for "fun" and killing for food. thats where we go wrong.[/code]
  9. omg, definately bill hicks, that guy was funny as [bleep] !!!! r.i.p. Bill =D>
  10. lol! =D>
  11. This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality. Embrace this moment. Remember. We are eternal. All this pain is an illusion. Lyrics from a tool song - parabola
  12. biology sias different my friend, its plain and simple, not sexist, that men are better than women at some things and women are better than men at others. But, obviously, they should both have the same rights as the social/biological stereotypes dont fit everyone.
  13. im not really in favour of abortion, but if the mother/father dont want the child, theres no use in bringing that child into the world unloved. Ethical debate on the part of the feotuses (cant spell it) life/rights just clouds the issue. As long as it is disposed of humanely, no-one is hurt (assuming the parents dont want the child) Experimentation on embryos (in the stage where they have 50-150 cells) on the other hand, i believe, should be open slather. the potential medicinal benefits of embryonic stem cells is just too huge. I hate unfounded ethics blocking sound scientific research in this way...
  14. nice conspiracy theory, but the UN dosent have power over jack [cabbage]. Besides, If Governments want money via tax, they will let companies burn all the coal, oil, gas they want and tax them because they are the ones with all of the money and the inention to earn all the money they can get thier dirty hands on.
  15. haha. smarta**... lol jks. =D>
  16. i change my mind on this actually. sure, jagex could give us 12 more spaces but they want to make money too rite? they need to pay people to look after the servers and maintain the games integrity... so therefore it makes sense to make us want more and entice us into subscribing to members. where you lost me is this... fistrly you said you want more f2p bank space which is fine, but then a few scenteces later you stated the word NEED in capitals. let me tell you something... you dont need more bank space on an internet game. what you need is food and water and a roof over your head. :shame:
  17. i totally agree. imagine spending your life in an indonesian prison. (sorry to any indonesians out there but some australians [where i'm from] have been imprisoned in indonesia lately and thier prisons look/are made out to be a terrible place to live)
  18. I LIKE :notalk: and :boohoo: \
