I'm a color fan so I have to go with V1. Two things I dislike though is the intensity of the scanlines and maybe add some "spark" to samus' weapon. :wink:

Average for a set. I wouldn't use them because they are not my style though. Not the best, not the worst.

people generally say that because they can't get ps.. :-# (but mabye you actually like gimp more?) and photoshop is not dominated by brushes as you said so many times infact I rarely use brushes, the only brush i ever use is a 200px soft circle for my lighting and sometimes not even that... and it doesn't really look like you did much to your sig, the process doesn't matter so much as the outcome, so wha ti'm saying if it took you an hour to do this in pnr (is that what you called it?) it would be the same as taking 5 minutes in gimp/ps so try to do a bit more with your sig next time and i'm sure it will turn out better. :wink: Amen to all that. :wink:

Like this :roll: (Note this is all opinion) The top one could use color if you wanted to. Does the black/white one have a border either? #-o If you want, I will remove these for any offense.

The top of the fire cape is roasting the guys head. I know someone else already posted this before though. Hopefully you are going to put more detail on the wasteland background right? :wink:

The top one looks like the render was just stuck in there and then sucked out the color. Had better potential. The bottom one also could've been better, but the border and brightness ruined it. I would've tried a transparent border instead of a white one.

It's too empty. All I see is black and then the render in the middle. The text on the right is cool though. Explain?
