Very funny conversation with a ghost (wtf?)
tefda replied to the_one27's topic in General Discussion
Wow, that's a weird conversation you've got there... Why exactly are you bragging that you're so rich? Talking to a poor ghost or a ghost who was rich when he was alive? Perhaps one of the Cornilleans(The Royalty of Ardougne? They've got ties with history)? -
would u still play runescape if they is no friends list??
tefda replied to Rs2cRaZy's topic in General Discussion
Until recently most of the people on my Friends list were from RSC and hadn't logged in for a couple years and the astranged person that I would pick up on the friends list the conversations were generally Person:Hi! Me: Hey there. *silence* *about an hour later* Person has logged out. But still with all the new people I've met *cough*At the Shade Temple*/cough* I'd definetly play but I'd be using AIM far more often than now. -
Hmm... I don't understand the purpose of Power Mining at all. I'd say just go with the flow and let your levels come as they come and make a profit while gaining levels instead of wasting two months of your life on some stats. Play leisurely and eventually you'll get to your desired stats. If you quit before then, wouldn't you be glad that you didn't spend all that time mining?

First off Jagex never intended for there to be "Pures" in existance, sure they knew that some people would not be as fully developed in certain combat stats but they never wanted a breed of PKers. The PKers that we know today are an accident, a fluke of stat manipulation that resulted in children to roam around in the lowest level of wilderness and attack other people who cannot wear steel armor. No matter what you do, remember that if you decide to be a pure you will ALWAYS be fighting PKers that are just like you, few regular players will even attempt to fight in the wilderness as the average lurker there are pures whose attributes are hidden behind a yellow or greenish level. I would suggest forget the PKing and play the game with all the options and do not limit yourself to training only certain stats, if you do limit yourself to certain skills then you're basically back to F2P.

Use world 59 if you're going to be gathering oils  But just about all the advice here is valid. It depends on what you want to do and what risks you want to run. Let's go through them and evaluate! Pest Control: Very fun, very fast, you can level up your other combat skills here and get some cash along with it. If you want to get experience really, really, really fast, this might not be your best bet especially because of your low level (then your experience from Pest Control wont be that high). Ectoing: Takes time and takes bones. I personally have never really had fun doing ectoing, but it does give grand experience. Using Someone Elses House: Sometimes people will have an open house and have a chapel with a very high bonus for xp. Sometimes there are even groups of people doing it at the same time, but still require bones in advance as well as marrentils Killing Monsters: I'd take this route as I enjoy leveling my skills and earning a reward for it. If you went with giants you'd get decent prayer experience with little risk to yourself. I would go with Dragons because I can always craft their hides(greens at most, but one day... one day) and their Dragon Bones are tremendous! Plus with this you can save up for the Ectofunctus or your friends home. Zogres: This is the last one I can think of. This gives a good chance for you to level up your fletching and your Ranged because you'll need specialty arrows that very few people sell. But the bones give great experience and when combined with the ectofunctus you'll be rolling in prayer points in no time. Be sure to read the Zogre quest guides for more info on them though.

Heh, I know but I got it in a treasure trail and I never did find the time to buy a regular Rune Kite. I don't much mind if I lose it, I hate setlling items to players anyways.

In case you couldn't tell I've asked this question before, and I was given a no. But now I've leveled up a bit, so here are my stats. Now I've got Rune Platebody, Rune Platelegs, Berserker Helm, Rune Kite(g), Boots of Lightness, and Dragon Battle Axe. I also have Splitbark Armor if it needs to be used. Also I could get Dragon Scimitar if need be. But with those stats is it possible for me to complete Desert Treasure, it's the last quest that's holding me back from doing Recepie for disaster!

Hey, an easy way to get Swamp paste is from the Shade temple. Not only do you get riches, but Swamp Paste comes as a random extra piece in a chest. I got over 900 swamp paste just from 200 keys :D -
 Very nice! That's alot of Javascripting, I thought that was a dead langauge too  . Very nice work. Do you think you might want to change the background to some nice image or something that is more pleasing than THAT shade of brown? Plus all the Aaragon Avatars are getting me confused :?

Adamfostas's Grand Sociopathic Day Out (warning, pictures!)
tefda replied to Adamfostas's topic in General Discussion
Makes me think that now is a good time to get 85 Mining and get some Runite :) -
Wow! That is a very unique glitch. Good find!

Well they do put things on the same map. If you go to the Shade tombs you can see the barrow crypts, it may be near it,but it's not close enough. Another is the fact that you can see a part of the Gold Mine that you gain access to in the Between A Rock quest from the White Knights Initiation area. It may be a glimpse at the city like we could see before Keldagrim came out or it's the mage arena like others have said.

For those who have completed the new quest
tefda replied to Candymann16's topic in General Discussion

Ohw btw I always read all the posts so don't overgeneralize k ? Wow! You have a lot of free time to read all of the posts   -
ONE MORE THING, I PROMISE. FOR TODAY
tefda replied to asianboner876's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Alright, I'm going to say this on ONE of the posts. Did YOU GUYS think about reporting his posts? Instead of just adding to the spam report them! IT's not that hard, it's a little button in the upper right hand corner. Don't stoop to HIS level. -
Ah but how do you know that you haven't hit your max hit yet? Try fighting something that's really low defence but has alot of HP so you're bound to get a max hit off of them. Tip has a very good integrity when it comes to Calcs so you might want to double check you've put in everything that you're using and be open to the chance that you haven't hit your max hit yet.

A 50% chance to double all of your money?
tefda replied to Hoopster211's topic in General Discussion
Yes indeed, he has a limit to how much he will bet. Besides, do you think a common guard would have 10M to bet away? -
Ah, that's the Dark Mage I was talking about, I didn't remember everything about him, just that he was important for something. Thank you! I just might spend the 200k there instead, it seems like a much better alternative. :D

[story] I completed Underground Pass a long time ago and yet I haven't used Iban's Staff and his spell (Iban Blast) until recently. I had seen a person using the spell in Castle Wars before and I looked up the damage it could deal (25!) and I decided it'd be great at Castle Wars along with my brand new Full Splitbark World 59 Shade temple!. I was casting it and dealing amazing damage for my level 60 magic skills. But suddenly as I was chasing down our own flag being taken away I was confronted with "You need to recharge the staff before you can use the spell". I was absolutely floored (and promptly flattened by a whip-wielding whacko). So I searched through Tip's Magic guide and found the special Spells section and saw that it needs to be Recharged at the well "past the paladins" in the Underground Pass. I for one HATE the underground pass. So many little traps and whatnot. But I teleport from CWars to Ardougne and pick up a bow, five bronze arrows, a rope, a dueling ring, and a whole bunch of food. I made it all the way to the Jail cells and I realized that I needed a spade. I teleport with my Dueling ring to CWars and grab an ardougne teleport and go back to Ardougne, grab the spade and head off to the tunnel. Before I get there I realize my Dueling ring has crumbled and I thought "I need a dueling ring, I don't want to be stuck in the Underground pass and have to go all the way back!". Grudingly I went back and grabbed a dueling ring. Now back into the tunnel failed the walking trap (right before the Zombies and porticullis) and then FINALLY I reached the well, used my staff on it and FINALLY could go back to CWars and do some more fun. Halfway into a game I need to recharge the dang staff again! Now here's the question is there any easier way to get the Staff recharged? Tip.it maybe didn't update their magic guide if the Mage Guild happens to have a similar well or the Dark Mage in West Ardougne can repair it for you? I'm just hoping I won't have to go through all of that again and again just to use that awesome spell!

Bloodveld, just forget about it. I never said my designer was perfect. You've thoroughly pwned a newb-coder. Congrats. Nothing more can be said by either party and I'm sorry for ever even posting here as I acted stupidly for that one brief post. To Convene, rock on with Game Maker keep doing it and investigate if there are programs to convert the game maker files into something placeable on a website, you'll reach a much broader audience that way. To shadowFax: :P Continue to flame but know that I feel I have a clear conscience now. Again I'm sincerely sorry to Convene for starting this flamefest. Now everyone please go back to talking about Convene's designer.

I got it around level 81 and going to F2P and I sold just about everything in my bank! I've kept my first Million no matter what. Despite Construction being out I spent about 700k on it along with gathering 2k Death and Chaos Runes (the second day of construction, NO ONE was buying Runes, great day). But I'm making it back by Shade Burning and it's great money.

Outrage! - Now a question of what can be improved...
tefda replied to Dracion1's topic in General Discussion
Tip.it is by far a better site in numerous ways. The layout of Tip is clean cut and professional. The guides that are provided are informative and easy to digest. EVERYTHING works as it is supposed to except for when accidents happen and on the RARE occasion a mistake is made in the code. Runehq's guides are less clean but are more personal. They value Quanity over quality. They have "City Guides" which I think are purposeless as unless it's a brand new town or you are a fresh member, you shouldn't need a city guide. The design of the site does not look good at all. Also their item database despite being one of the few out there is nowhere NEAR full. They're missing data on alot of things. Do you guys remember when Tip.it had the HUGE makeover? Well another gigantic update will be coming shortly when they release their own undoubtedly full developed Item Database. It may not have the street price but that's what the Price Check sticky is for! The thread can be updated easier and more constantly than a website can be. My only complaint with Tip is their Splitbark guide and that it is underdeveloped (But that's because I've been hanging out there for so long, I along with a bunch of other people are bound to find out more about that place) and they dropped their format of making quest guides. They don't include the Quest guide changes. I suppose it's not a big thing, but it could be a helpful thing if someone leaves for a time and picks up a quest later on. Tip.it is a good site for the fact that it offers quality works. Runehq is a good site because it offers a large quantity of work. I will choose quality over quantity in this debate though and stick with good ol' Tip.it. In regards to Runehq getting more traffic, I think it would be because of their item database, it's the only one I've ever seen and probably the most popular of the databases. -
fastest way to recharge glory with one charge left
tefda replied to Kill_Thomas9's topic in General Discussion
If you bank at rogues den you can recharge 29 per run :o Just wear one and have 28 in your inventory, after you charge the first one wear it and charge the other 28, easy as pie :) Do people really have 29 Glory Amulets? That's about 2,175,000 in items right there... makes me wish I could craft amulets of glory :( . -
I don't think you guys got it. He just started out slayer and yet the slayer master gave him a crawling hands task (Slayer level 5 required) and he is commenting on how that is a poor start to it. I'd send a bug report to Jagex. Although you could try and see if you could kill the crawling hands, they don't require any equipment to kill so.... try it out. If you can't kill them THEN send in a bug report to Jagex.

*COUGH*World 59*/COUGH*. :D Moving on.... One thing to add onto that, you repair the temple faster/better the higher your crafting level. So someone with level 1 crafting will repair the temple slowly and someone with 99 crafting will be able to put up the temple quickly.

A WADDLING NINJA MONKEY! SW00T Yeah... sound like I'll be going to Ape Atoll now.
