  1. Yanille has these guys called Watchmen, when you sucessfully steal from one of them you get both coins AND a piece of bread. In theory that'll save you from making trips back and forth, but I find that I get hurt more than I pick from guards and I'm level 70 thieving  . Just a little side note, Paladins are the coolest NPC's to steal from, Chaos Runes and coins  !!!! Plus with the Bread Stall nearby, you can't lose!
  2. I suppose it could take a day as Foooman said. I do not believe it's worth it though. It gives little to no bonuses and no benefit to thieving or agility while wearing it (which I think it should, you did go through all that trouble afterall!) The look is alright, but if you're looking at a logical point of view the getup doesn't equal out to the effort put forth. But if you're bored in Runescape the Rogues den will be sure to distract you from that boredom, it's something unique and fresh from the regular grind of day to day Runescape life. Go for it if you want it! The outfit is worth it or not worth it only in your eyes.
  3. Well this will sound kind of lame but in the book Siddhartha by Herman Hesse which follows along with the story of the Buddha has us learning that to truly be enlightened you must experience things, being enlightened cannot be taught and therefore you need to be out there to experience and learn for yourself, no man or woman can give it to you, you must give it to yourself. That's basically why I think the first person with the higher skill total is the better person. They've experienced a vast majority of the game and seen all the facets that the game has. They're the one's that could answer a question you ask of them, the second one only has a limited range or knowledge and advice he can dispense whereas the first has seen so much that he is a fountain of knowledge. The first one is my choice. Why play the game when you only get to experience part of it? Isn't that why most people joined members, to get a bigger piece of the picture that is Runescape?
  4. Any of them would drop it. Just kill the weaker ones so you can kill more of them. Keep in mind that it's a bit of a rare drop, so be patient!
  5. What? Why the heck is everyone insulting this kid? He made a mistake, this website DOES LAG sometimes and people are impatient and hit the submit button several times, get over it, it's not like it's hurting you. But you people who are saying "go away noob" or spamming this thread by saying "DOUBLE TOPIC..." are adding to the horror of this thread. Why don't you guys practice this little method, if the thread is Spam then don't post on it and then report it. I'm upset that you guys just jump down this kids throat. On-Topic: 1.)The new mini-game is on Mos'Le Harmless, you need to complete the Cabin Fever quest in Port Phasmatys. If you don't know where that is, you're a long way from completing the quest. 2.)Try going to Leesters party or look for house parties that you can attend.
  6. Calm down there fella'! You'll get an ulcer with an attitude like that. The world map and the Quest guide are the best options. Go North from the Death Plateau's secret entrance, then east, then fight the big guy, then go north through a cave, pop out, go north some more, follow the curve, watch out for Troll Rock Throwers, and basically circle the mountatin that is past the Troll Throwers and after the Ice Troll Pass and you'll eventually find Edgar.
  7. Level 79 Firemaking is the highest and Herblore or Construction at level 50 are the lowest (not sure which one is exactly lower).
  8. Well then! Edit the title saying it's today, and I must insist that you just keep editing the title and main page, that way you'll have a GIGANTIC thread, and everyone looks at gigantic threads. Plus then you won't have to copy and paste the pictures and the text again and again and again, especially if this becomes a sort of weekly event.
  9. Isn't it just a bunch of Molten Glass? Get to Entrana! There's plenty of seaweed and a sandbox, just bring a bucket!
  10. For goodness sake! Take a look at what you're doing! The mods are not there always scanning the threads for spam or wrong forum threads! That's why we have the "!" button. It's called the REPORT POST BUTTON. It alerts mods, use it some time.
  11. The teleporter is there only because the Mage doesn't want you snooping around and anyone can be teleported. I think that I read in a quest guide that the wizard in the tower was involved with the quest Swan Song and sometimes conversations with NPC's can change AFTER you complete the quest. I'm wondering if the conversation with the mage will change after that quest is completed perhaps he'll still be angry at you, but will no longer cast you out of his tower. That's what I'm getting at.
  12. I remember running around the Dark Wizard tower and being teleported to Lumbridge swamps. I thought it was a random location, but apparently not! But I think that the wizard you speak to is used in the Swan Song Quest so if someone who's done that quest could go up to him and try this method, just to be sure it'll still work after the quest. And if he isn't involved in any of the latest quests, ignore what I've just said :D .
  13. Did you use a Crossbow, Battleaxe, Long Sword, and Javelin? I hope this works. :-k Dragon Battleaxe. I wish it worked too, but I'm guessing that this mini-game was supposed to be more so of a nice little treat when you're killing monsters for slayer or for other reasons. So I don't think they would want you to incur the challenge. But the authors keen eye gave me something to do for an hour  .
  14. What? Are you saying that his post wasn't a good way to emphasize his party? Are you saying that the fact that his brother beat legends isn't a good reason to throw a party? Have you even beaten Legends? Are you an RS2 Product? Legends is the ultimate quest, the last bit of RSC that needed to be conqured! When you beat that Black Demon for the last and Final time it's a crowning achievement! There is much reason to celebrate! On-Topic:If I'm not working I'll be there. Do you have the Fairy game or the Jester, the jester creeps me out sometimes :?
  15. Been fighting them for a little over an hour, no Challenge. So maybe Peer is just a crazy old man who thinks he can tell the future.
  16. You need to do the Lost City quest to wield Dragon Long and Dragon Dagger. You're good for Pest Control, in fact check out the forums in my Sig (Level 90+ Pest Control Group) for quick games. Also learn to edit posts instead of double posting on your own topic
  17. At Peer Right now. Here's what he's said to me so far Use a crossbow in battle Train Runecrafting today (Aren't the Freminnek's against magic?) Use a battleaxe in battle(A little bit condescending?) Long Sword Go visit Catherby Train Crafting Train Smithing Use a Javelin SKELTON IS MY LUCK TOTEM! Sweet, I'll go try this out in a few minutes, maybe fight the Skeletons for an hour and see what happens.
  18. At Vampire: Very snazzy Redesign, personally, I like it and I think it'd be nice if they put all of the member skills into a single area so we can look at them quicker(even though it's just a quick glance now). The only problem is that Jagex has undoubtedly strategically put their skills in such an order. When you scan across your skills as an F2P what do you see? Combat stats on the left and then other F2P skills on the right. What's seperating them? Member skills! Whenever you look at your skills you'll see a big ol' open space where you haven't gained any levels. A subtle ploy by Jagex to bait you into getting members perhaps :anxious:
  19. Wow, that's a little bit funny :) . That'd be pretty cool though if you could lock your portals. Kind of an interesting add on, in case you don't want people to be leaving your party until you say so (Through the other portals, not the exit portal of course).
  20. Go for master farmers if you want to sell off seeds or are into farming. I think it'd be a waste to go there and just drop all of those seeds. Rogues are in the Wilderness and dangerous, don't go there. Instead, you need only 4,533 warriors (Warrior Women in Ardougne) to get to 53. I would suggest them. They are close to the Cake stall and there are many in number. That would be your best bet until you hit Fremenniks. They're great xp and cash and there's a fish stall and the great hall has a firepit you can use to cook on there.
  21. 1)Yeah, you can be called for that, but I don't think many people are called for it. It's mostly those who leave their Keyboards for an extended period of time. Lots of people surf the forums whilst playing RS, heck I'm doing it right now and I have a spotless record! Just keep checking in and out of the game and you should be fine. 2)Yes, Jagex will crack you down for that. They do not like it when people aren't using the mouse themselves. They supposedly have software in RS to detect when things aren't happening by your own mouse. Many have fallen prey to it, so I'd suggest stick to the noisy mouse and if you must get a nice quite one, wrap it up in a cone of silence (D&D anyone?) and try to keep it quiet. Just stick with the mouse and you'll be fine.
  22. I was going to raise that same point! But it is also technically a supply skill as you're creating Runes which are used in Magic so it's sort of both at the same time and you can only classify at either one by ignoring either the purpose or the use of the skill. I think that Slayer and Hitpoints aught to fall under Combat as well. Hlitpoints because if you didn't have HP you couldn't fight any monsters, you'd be dead on the spot! Slayer simply uses Combat and unlocks more monsters for you to fight so either it's a skill that unlocks things for you or it's combat. Fletching is similar to Runecrafting, it has two sides of a coin. Firstly you can consider it a Supplying skill as you get the arrows for Ranged or you can consider it a Refining skill as you're using up supplies to make the arrows. Perhaps another category for both. Thieving is another skill that simply unlocks things for you (pun intended  ). With it you can get into more places and interact with NPC's on a whole new level. Agility is similar, it unlocks more aspects of the game for you, most importantly shortcuts. Herblore is yet another skill similar to Fletching in the way it can be considered. Farming is a refining skill as you use seeds to create something, simple as that. Now that I think about it though, Thieving could be considered a supply skill as you steal items from stalls and from chests and from NPC's (Paladins and 70 Thieving FTW!). But I would think it more of an opening skill. Construction is a refining skill, you use up planks and cloth and cash to build a house. Can't be considered a supply skill as the supplies generally allow others (or yourself) to get XP in another skill. Adding furniture to your house from a flatpack doesn't give XP (I think). Crafting is another mixed skill as you both use up resources and then the items created feed into skills (i.e. Glass Orb from Sand and Seaweed is then used to make magic orbs for Staves). I hope you also meant Member skills but if not just ignore the majority of what I've said
  23. Same here, I thought that they looked like Eggs on your feet. Took fighting boots and promptly destroyed them in favor of others.
  24. I think people misunderstood me. I meant that the times are random in between their minimum and maximum time. If anyone else recalls before the Kbase was made, the Farming guide showed that there the times given were APPROXIMATE times and that the times could vary. That's what I meant, they will always be within a certain amount of time (i.e. a Potato will never take as long to grow as a Spirit Tree). Sorry for the confusion.
  25. The times are random. I guess you're just having a bad string of luck. I don't they would have messed around with the times since Farming has been out so long.
