  1. B obviously (Kind of rhymes  )! I'd think that it being more profitable AND the fact that you get more overall levels should make it a cinch to be the top idea.
  2. Hey! That's pretty cool. I wonder if it works while you have Ancient Magicks active.
  3. Instead of telling them to PM a mod, simply click the report button. Also try to avoid answering the question while it's on this board. It sounds mean but it's just a way to teach people that they shouldn't be asking questions on this (General P2P)board.
  4. I think the best way to do it would be to grow your own. Get a Pineapple tree or a Janerberry Bush and pick from it when you make your rounds! That's how I would do it. If you don't have the levels you're stuck to Pineapple picking. Those pineapples are quite often picked so if you do manage to grab a bunch, count yourself lucky.
  5. I think that the new spells are for clans/groups and that could be a precursor to advanced Clan support such as Rosters, clan hiscores, cumulative treasury, and a whole slew of advanced features for Clans and Wilderness fighting as a clan/group. If treasure could be shared equally then you could have a group of Lunar Mages go around and heal their fellow teammates and before they die off, trade their Runes to another Mage. It might not work unless you have someone you can really trust but it's one way of using the new spells out in the wilderness or in PVP mini-games.
  6. Very unique stuff! Keep it up but make sure that sizing is decent. A couple (the armour one at least) had kind of small text and were harder to read.
  7. Well I think that only High Leveled Mages who are not really interested in Magic Experience will be using this spell set. There are no offensive spells but it is so incredibly useful for all other skills! If I were to be using these skills I'd make sure I had a whole bunch of Home Tele-Tablets and all the portals in my house before I used this new spell set.
  8. Wow, that's actually really cool to know about! Maybe we'll get a runecrafting world for Astrals so people can utilize that  !
  9. Shades of Mor'ton  .
  10. How could we not remember you? You hung around the media forum so I didn't know you were gone though  . But besides that good to see another Interesting person back  .
  11. Ts, you summed it up great! Your idea sounds good but the only problem is with the last scenario. I don't think it'd be fair if they lasted twenty minutes of defending and only got cash. If a lower level group were to go at it and then simply guard the Knight as they couldn't really damage a portal, they'd be jipped out of points and playing for twenty minutes is well worth a point so long as you at least made an effort to hurt an enemy.
  12. What is this? Pick on Tefda day  . Alright so you got me on the Mountain Tribe People, I did the quest the week it came out, that was a LONG time ago, can't always remember about places you hardly visit. I did mention how the Kendal was fake: "...weird guy and treated it as a god" and I know he had nothing to do with summoning at the time but in some games you generally summon a familiar/aid and they can be natural animals. I was just making a connection and "speculating". Lastly I'm not ignoring the fact that it was a matriach, I just think that few if any societies are ruled by women the only known one I can think of are the Amazonian women and they belong down south, not up north. I made another connection to Dragonlance because it's another fantasy work and Jagex likes to borrow/make parodies of other material. Tefda out :P . (Hopefully in about four and a half hours it will no longer be pick on Tefda day  )
  13. Wah? Really? Didn't know that. Last time I went to 99 I got my Essence back but that was about three months ago :-w . Just wanted to say how nice the list is going and it's good to see so many Mini-Game worlds there.
  14. Well I saw Black and White Magic as in the Black and White Mages. I was going back to the original Final Fantasy. Not a lot of people call it Black or White Magic they generally call it Good or Evil and Offensive or Defensive (which you did say). It was a joke, a little note to a person who also played Final Fantasy (With your sig).
  15. Generally it happens when they update an F2P quest. The Goblin Quest was updated so the Dye Making witch would be updated too. :D
  16. Not everything is Final Fantasy based  . But I get what you're saying. I always wanted some Healing spells like the monks have and spells which would be boosts for you and team mates around you. I think though that those spells would only be used by the few Mage Pker's who go in groups and those who play in PvP mini-games. It still would be useful in those mini-games for me but the demographic is very narrow. Summoning is the new magic to be released. If one thing could point it out think back to the Kendal (the bear god). The Moon Clan worshipped that weird guy and treated it as a god. It was the first animal god we saw and I don't think it'll stop there. Also I'll bet that the Chieftan of the Moon Clan will be a man but his daughter will be ruling under his name because the father is unable to take command. Straight from Dragonlance there. Let's look at a big history of Runescape. We came from the South as the cities grew and they expanded the Human control of the world (South being warmer and whatnot). I'm guessing the Fremminek's and the Moon Clan were Nomads at the time but we know the Frem's became permanent residents and the Moon Clan STILL ARE nomads. Now from the Official History of Magicks of Runescape it was indeed a "man from the north" who discovered magic. This isn't the magic we know today. The Magic before Rune Stones was pure manipulation of Magical energies. They created Rune Stones (So that must mean the Rune Essence Mines was once in walking distance of a village or something like that) and the story doesn't mention creating the Rune Altars but it would have to be inferred that they did because otherwise they couldn't get novices to use the magic. I'll bet that beforehand, these Wizards were specialist wizards as we've seen today (By Malignus Mortifer, although they're not as powerful as the ones in the past) and could direct Magic Energies into the altar so that others could bind the power into the stones. Now the North is definetly where it all started so perhaps the new age magic (Seeing as Ancient Magic belongs to the Mahrajatt and is definetly not what the story speaks of) which required no Runes was up there and we'll get access to it in the near future. Whatever Jagex does I'm sure it will flow well into their already built storylines and I'd love to see a better explanation of Magic from the Kbase. I love reading official stories about the realm of Runescape and knowing more about the intricacies of the world (i.e. Magic, Gnome Politics, etc.).
  17. Jagex designed it to be fun, i guess they are thining people are just taking advantage  But they changed it recently to make it even better and diversify the items you can receive from the game. I wonder why they would even change it. I highly doubt that they will be changing the game anytime soon. But if they do make it less and less(xp wise) I probably wouldn't play as it may be a great source of experience now but cutting it down would devestate most. Getting 100 points is fairly tough in itself especially if you're not in a major group. There are only a few groups whom are doing this successfully so it shouldn't affect the rest of the RS community.
  18. But they changed the Mysterious Box from involving colors to only numbers and shapes. They love the colorblind :P
  19. Maybe it's because of the Time Zone difference. Someone living in Norway with a 7 Hour Time Difference couldn't really be playing with the team at 9 PM (21:00) if it's 5 AM(5:00) over there for them. Don't be offended, it's just more efficient for the team so they can work together at almost the exact same times (The biggest difference would be West and East Coast which is only about four hour differences).
  20. I don't see YOU helping, and its too late, just get on World 2. Yeah, Bobby was there he knows both the taste of success and failure. I honestly give you my blessing and if you can get a world up and running again I'd be happy to help in what ways I can. Here's a way of making this work. Make it an event, not necessarily something where you're giving away free stuff, but something that is fun and is rewarding in itself. Explain to the rest why you want to make a new permanent world for the Shades of Mor'ton Mini-game. Post your main debates on the Quests and Events forum on the main RS forums and then be sure to bump them every time you're on and whenever you CAN get on. I let it slip and be destroyed so if you can keep it up and get a bunch of people to agree with you, then you'll find that more and more people will bump it up. At first when it's a weekly event, the day will be very busy and filled with people. Once more and more hear about that world, they'll start going to it and bringing their friends with them. Once you've got yourself established people will be going there and trying to build the temple themselves and all the while, hopefully bumping up your thread to get more people to show up. Once that begins to happen it'll domino effect into a positive feedback cycle where the more people use that world, the more new people will go to that world. You've got a lot of work ahead of you but it's very possible with a great community like Tip and bringing in others from the RS forums is where you really need to go to because that is a much more broad audience. Good luck and I really hope you have the commitment that I lacked. I would kill (a person in the Runescape Wilderness) to see this to be true. A new world is necessary and those at World 2 just don't realize it. Try to convince a few over there to come over too but don't spam them like I did, it brings nothing but hostility. Just a little idea, you could set up a Sting operation. If you've got a great operation going with a bunch of people defending and repairing the temple you can send about four or so to World 2 and have them stick around for about 10 minutes there and then you pop in and try to "convince" them to come to World 58. They should put up a show and doubt you but ultimately become "convinced" by you and after that hopefully more and more people will jump over to see if it's really true and they might realize that World 2 is too crowded to be host to a mini-game. Good luck. You have my blessing if it means anything to you. To everyone else, try it out, you might have fun while helping out the world of Runescape :D
  21. Their point is not something for you to train on because that would draw away from the real training spots. It'd be unfair if you could just walk away from a steel dragon and then just walk around Yanille for a little while. The only good the monsters in the house is the fact that people you invite over can have a competition to get past the monsters and their opponents to reach the treasure room first. That's the general idea of it all. Edit: AND I noticed that NO ONE reported this thread! Come on! It takes two seconds to click on the ! and then the "Wrong Forum" check box.
  22. I think it's great you're actually going for an event like this. You should edit the title saying "Chompy Hunting Event" or something more fun than that. Also just a quick observation. If you get lots and lots of people to come with you won't you be running short on Frogs? You might want to restrict it once a few people join up, maybe to twenty at most? Chompy hunting sounds fun and if you keep it going I'll try to pop in once in a while. (It's the only way I like to train Range because of the hats really).
  23. Well it's not really taking anything away from them. When you make a teleportation Tablet you simply use up the Runes necessary and then the soft clay. You get the experience for creating the Tablet not when breaking the tablet (Breaking causes the magic to be released and thus the spell to be used) so when you make the tablet you're still using a teleport so you still get the experience.
  24. Want to explain further? What kind of website do you want to post about? Is it one of your websites? If you're advertising for something you can post it in the Off-Topic Forum under the Advertising Thread. Good job with posting this in the Help and Advice Forum though!
  25. I didn't start up being a member until December 2004 or so. By then I was around level 50 and had completed just about everything there was possible to do in F2P (All Quests, "Decent" Stats) and I decided to move onto Members. Being a member is great because there is so many new things. The whole new world which is roughly three times the size of the F2P world was so vast that you could do just about anything. Yeah it started out rough and all but I eventually got used to it and learned all there was to know about the Member world. I would say "You'll get bored of F2P life soon enough" but I realized that there are many high leveled F2P-Only players out there. Their "victories" (i.e. Getting 100+ Combat, 99 in a skill) are far more illustrious because their training opportunities are very narrow. Good luck as an F2P and maybe when you gain a few levels you'll gain more respect in the Members community  .
