  1. Here we go! That's Six months of stats is now posted and I've updated my goals a little bit, please do reply, whether it's about my games or my blog I don't care.
  2. Sounds like I'll be going to Pest Control, thanks for reaffirming for me guys. Best 2 out of 3 :D
  3. I'm looking to get my Herblore to level 60 from 52. Eight levels, that's a lot of Herbs. Now I've decided on either committing mass genocide against the Chaos Druid people for all of the herbs I might need, which ranges in the thousands of Avantoes (I'm shooting for that but I know I won't get 1k+ of that specific Herb but it's a way to gauge my need). It's either Chaos Druids or Pest Control and with Pest Control I know exactly what Herbs I would get and so I could calculate exactly how many games I would need to play and for those saying "Finding a good PC world is difficult" I play with Affliction so that doesn't apply to me :D . But now I'm looking for advice on which one I should go for, Pest Control is going to be somewhat fast but I'll get less experience for killing (spending 10 points per Herb Pack is pretty expensive and I only will receive xp for the minimum of 50 hits I get). Killing Chaos Druids is just repetitive but will gross me more experience in combat. So what do you guys suggest (hopefully from people who have used PC to get Herbs)? Thanks :D
  4. This is where you need to make a bit of a sacrifice for Runescape. Wake up at the crack of dawn and start slinging your spells in the Mage Arena. It's the safest way :?
  5. Anyone know the chances of getting a Nest from Magic Trees? That's all I want to cut so I'm just wondering if it's worth getting the foot to use with them?
  6. Good luck getting 99, that'll be amazingly hard but if you finish it, it'll be one heck of an achievement.
  7. Actually you're 100% right  . If we gave just one Mini-Game to F2Per's you could almost guarantee that it would have a game going on in nearly every world because there is little to do in F2P at a high level.
  8. Any and all team based mini-games that are non-combat oriented fail. Let's go through a few. Blast Furnace: Knocked down to a single world, still hard to find people. The Fishing Trawler: If you've found a group that isn't part of an online community then you should start playing the lottery! It's that bad, good luck trying to get your Manta Rays and Turtles. Games Room:You do need someone else to play this, but it's been dead ever since the second week it's been released. Gnome Ball:You don't actually need someone else, but it makes it a lot easier, but still no one beyond level 30 Agility is playing this intentionally. Rat Pits:Did this ever actually have a following? I think most people would rather turn their cats in for 100 Death runes instead of making bets on the possibility of them winning. Rogues' Den:You can have a group here but there are more people out by the fires rather than in the Mini-game. Shades of Mort'ton:You need a team to build the temple to get the Sacred Oil, BUT it's "Dedicated World" is on World 2 so the common player is going to have a hard time getting there, many know that I am vehemently against World 2 and it's stranglehold on Shades of Mort'ton. The cause shall be resurrected! Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup:Lastly I have to mention this, a mini game is absolutely dead if there is a quest that REQUIRES you to go play it (Not like Shades, the "My Arm's Big Adventure" quest forced you to play this game). Playing the mini games is all about having fun, and it's even more fun if you've got friends around you. We need a group that is dedicated to visiting these neglected mini games. Something similar to SODB but without the Combat portion, playing Castle Wars and Pest Control and Fight Pits would of course be included but not the primary thing to do. Someone has to step up to the plate and make that group, I had a hard enough time getting everyone involved in Shades of Mort'ton, I wanted to make a "GAME" group but Shades was a lesson well learned.
  9. That was the first one that came to mind for me too :o :D I also remember when Ardounge itself came out with the Paintball gun shaped Dock. Also I remember when RS2 came out and I logged in and I saw none of my equipped items (i.e. Rune Platebody, Rune Legs, etc.) and I got really upset because I had 'lost' all of my items when they were actually on the equipment page. Those are the ones I remember the best, the first one (Underground Pass) because that was when I said "Wow, I've got to become a member" (Which I didn't become one until much later). The second one because it was coupled with the Jagex Paintball Photo and the last one because it was embarrassing to me.
  10. Top 3 would probably have to be leveling up my skills, Playing Pest Control with Affliction, Shades of Mort'ton. If I had a great deal of food and Magic Logs I'd be down in Mort'ton all the time earning piles upon piles of gold. Good times.
  11. Hey there, welcome to Tip.it Icefiends are on the top of Ice Mountain north of Falador. The reason why they might not be on Tip's Slayer Guide is because, despite Tip.it being awesome, they can't be 100% accurate 100% of the time. Lastly when looking for help or advice use the help and advice forum. Once again, Welcome to Tip.it! :D
  12. That is a lot of pictures  . Good luck with Legends though, being at level 90 will help a great deal but not necessary. Beating Legends is a huge accomplishment that you cannot miss out on!
  13. That is honestly a big goal! Those combat stats are going to be hard. Once you hit level 90 (combat level) though, trying joining Affliction to get Magic, Ranged, and Prayer up without having to really use those skills.
  14. You did a real service to Tip! Well done. Well displayed and formatted as well.
  15. Shhhhh :-$ :anxious: If that's true then let it be, Pickpocketing could use an "easier" method I'd say. Edit: Also, think of it this way, at level 99 you are feasibly the best thief in the world of Runescape. Why not be able to steal from someone for an hour, 13 Million experience has to represent some degree of skill.
  16. You've summed up my opinion with that statement. P.S. Nice Bioware Avatar. :D
  17. Times I don't know if you meant 8 AM or PM so I put AM :?
  18. You've got it all down. But keep in mind for your complaints about training areas that the skill is brand new and of course people will be wanting to train there as fast as possible. Oh yeah: This thread says they drop 1-9 now. I assume they're noted now. Could someone confirm this? I had a task to kill 13 Cave slimes for slayer and walked away with 37 Swamp tar and as someone above me said as well, they've always been stackable.
  19. I'd have to agree with those saying that Agility is repetitive and I agree with those who've said that Agility is useful. I myself do not always teleport to every single location, instead I do run quite often and I hate having no energy so Agility is very important. Also if you're not always a member having that bit of extra Energy regeneration is going to give you the edge in a great deal of things.
  20. Yeah, I like to get into games when they first begin and are sort of being developed. It's ever-changing and the players have actual influence in the way the game is made. When games have been around for five years or so (such as Runescape) you've got to be a higher level or you're not getting all of the game. When a game is fresh and new everyone who joins up is at the same level, the same experience with the game, instead sometimes we have people that are RS2 Products and are hated by the RSC Veterans and vice versa. I think anyone would jump at the chance of going back in time and joining RS when it first came out (anyone who plays now that is). But I know if everything was wiped away from our accounts I'd be out of this game in a second. (I know that wasn't what you were asking but I just thought I'd throw that out as many other people are going to as well).
  21. Congratulations Fook! That's one small step for Jagex, one giant leap for runescape-kind.
  22. If you work at world 99 then you do not have to give back the essence. World 66 has always required that you give essence back to the runners but at 99 it does not.
  23. It's in the grass around Edgars little hovel. Just run your cursor over the grass from left to right, top to bottom, and you'll find it eventually. It takes everyone a while to find it when they do the quest.
  24. If you are a member only for a small amount of time and you will still be doing most of your work in F2P then go for Agility, that's the ONLY skill whose effect transfers over (i.e. With 99 Agility you get energy back faster in both member and non-member worlds). If you're going to be working in Members mostly now, focus on whatever is fun. Try them all and then see how you like each one. Do whatever quest you can. Do Druidic Ritual quest to start Herblore, do Fishing Contest to gain access to the underground of White Wolf Mountain, and do Priest in Peril to open up Mortanyia. Those are the simple ones that open up the member lands to you. From there on, do whatever you want. 100k and a full set of Runite Armor. From there on you'll probably make more money while doing quests and skilling (besides construction) and your profit will be greater than your loss. If you're looking for cash buy Steel bars and nature runes and smith steel plates and then high alch them. Iban's spell can only be used with the Iban Staff and then it only has 100 or so charges BUT when casted on a player it counts for two charges! Recharging it is a difficult thing to do. Slayer Dart requires a certain slayer level and the slayer staff so it's harder to get but can be effective if you're high leveled. The God Spells are most definitely not used in any PvP combat at all! I've rarely seen it in castle wars let alone the wilderness. I've always thought them more of something you can show off. Plus you need to cast the spell a lot in the Mage Arena before you can use it outside of the Arena. Ancient Magicks are expensive but extremely effective, if you can do it, do it. Lastly the standard spells are common, I'd say just stick with them because you don't really have to do anything else besides level up magic. You will never EVER sell large amounts of Law Runes for 1k each. They run for 300 gp each when sold in bulk. You can see people buying a law rune for 1k because they are desperate for a method of teleportation and are willing to pay through the nose to get it. You're better off with Nature Runes. In the F2P world your member weapons will be nothing but your fists, they act as if they aren't there so you are actually attacking with your fists. So your newfound members stuff will be pointless in free worlds. Lastly, try looking at Tip.it's guide to becoming a member and next time try help and advice.
