  1. Start again only if you think it would be fun to do so. If I were in your position I'd start and F2P account and get a base in case I wanted to start up the game again. Try making a new account and then level it up to a respectable total level and then relax for a while. If you come back to Runescape then keep on playing, if not at least you have an account to fall back on in case you ever get bored one day.
  2. Wow, dude, dont bump old threads..... THis was a post like a year ago. But you're just furthering the bump so how do you justify that? Really though this guide, no matter the age of it, is very useful to those who have just completed those elf quests. It is an amazing guide and the plot is still going on. It's okay to bump this back up in my books and I'm sure most will agree.
  3. My highest would be 78 firemaking and my lowest (only by 5k) is Herblore at 45.
  4. The reason why there is a homeworld is just to have a world where you can meet other people from the forums. You don't have to go any specific place to meet up with another Tip.iter you simply do what you need to do and when you see someone else going "HYT!" you respond back. Your idea is nice in making a formal area to meet with other people but the entire world is that area. Also TET events are basically the same thing. Don't they happen just about once a week? I'm just going to do what I do on world 9 and if someone replies to one of my HYT's I'll be happy, if not, I can keep on doing what I'm doing.
  5. I would want to have a ring that could change me into two varying forms of a rat. A normal rat and a Dungeon rat (which is a really big rat, about level 5). Thus when a cat could come at me as a little rat I could turn into the dungeon rat and then eat their cat and later on (through natural body functions) retrive the cat and sell it to the Citizens of West Ardougne and receive my 100 death runes.
  6. I'd say firemaking. Anyone can do it but so few have it.
  7. I believe that all Reports are measured equally because a level 3 could be far more saavy when it comes to reporting people. If higher leveled players had a greater emphasis based on their reports then the system would be skewed. The low levels of today are the high levels of tomorrow.
  8. I'm concerned with the list of names being lost. Why not add the name of the person underneath the image (You may have to squish some, but it would make it more permanent then a simple text list of them all).
  9. Its not that big, Its single combat (Unless they recently changed it). Theres nothing there. Reason its not on the map because thats a old one, It doesnt even show the extra membersgate and volcano area. It actually is now a multi-attack area as it was changed based on many of the suggestions of the players. Also if you look at his screenshots it has a multi-attack symbol on it.
  10. Just posting it for you. Be sure to use the ending for your img and url tags (a.k.a. put a / before the text in the brackets)
  11. At first I just saw the guy in the middle which I now think as you. I thought you were just showing us a player moderator there. The Dragon took me by surprise for some odd reason. I actually did a double take as I scanned across the pic. Well done!
  12. It came along with the Wilderness Graphics update. Check out the forums for more stuff on it including a volcano.
  13. Trying to get some more reactions to the game... (a.k.a. Bump)
  14. There are two sections of screenshots. One F2P and one P2P. He was looking at the pictures of the F2P information. You'll see the shots on Page 1 and Page 4 of the F2P Screenshots.
  15. But think of it this way, you get valuable ranged experience (no one Melee's Zogres). I'd say try out killing some Zogres with some Ranged attacks and see how well you do. Set a date and if you don't get them all by then you can easily switch out to regular bones or kill Green Dragons.
  16. It's called Advertising. They're intriguing the visitors. When you see that you can JOIN THE WHITE KNIGHTS you're thinking "Hey, I'd like to be a Knight. This game seems like fun. I may as well give it a go". By the time you're ready to do the Black Knights Fortress or the Knights Sword quest you'll have experienced a broader amount of the game which will allow you to determine whether or not you enjoy the game and want to continue it further. It's no error, it's very intentional. They're trying to draw in the casual onlooker with intriguing wording of the possibilities of their game. Also, who are you to not call Karamja distant? Perhaps in Runescape that amount of space is a long way. You never know how these Runescapians will think.
  17. Right after I completed One Small Favor quest I checked out our Antiques friend and tried various Holy Grail bells and Napkins and Beads of the Dead and a Bone Key and things that are no longer useful to me but he didn't take a darn thing. I was hoping that the Antiques guy would be a Wise Old Man for members but it makes sense that he can't be. The RS Quest Team could make a quest that involves a quest item from a previous quest. They would have to make it so you could acquire it again. This wouldn't work all too well if you could just keep on getting the item (as most quest items are retrievable). To solve that you could possibly make it so that you can buy things back from the Antiques seller. If you didn't sell it to him you can easily get it back from the original item giver. If you did sell it to him and you try to get it back from the item giver they'll say that they don't have anymore, or they gave you their only one. (Simple True or False statement) I'd love it if we see the Antiques seller gaining the ability to look into our bank and then see items that he is interested (With my suggestion it could be every single quest item that isn't being used in an active quest. Maybe another true false statement for a need. Each quest item given a true if there is a quest that would need the item or a currently active quest that needs the item. A false would be for if you've completed THE quest to use it and there is no outstanding (uncompleted) quest that requires the item.)
  18. It's fairly daunting in the beginning. A few people here actually researched the P2P world before gingerly stepping into the pool we call Membership. I on the other hand jumped in head first and did the first quest I saw (Druidic ritual) and tried to do as much stuff as I could. I think the size and scope of P2P at first brings you back to being a newbie in the world and it's a great feeling to be experiencing something new and yet familiar. For the first month you'll be confused, asking where Catherby is and how do you get across White Wolf Mountain, but overtime you'll get the hang of it.
  19. The full flower is the one that protects against the disease, not the growing of the flower. I've made that mistake many times. If you're going to grow something that can be protected, grow that flower once and you'll be set.
  20. Did you have the Napkin with you as you went there? Did you go to Draynor Manor? These are possibilities.
  21. From the looks of your Sig you appear to be a member so I would suggest the Lesser Demons down in Taverly. Stand behind the iron gate near the Black Knight and go kill the demons. You could also just keep on taking slayer missions and kill whatever monster you get with your magic.
  22. Probably for around four years with a little bit more added to it. I know I was actively playing in my Freshman year (I'm a senior now) and I may have made the character in Eighth grade. I don't think I've ever really taken a break from the game, maybe once or twice, but I've always been playing it in a easy manner, none of those twelve hour days of Runescape. I'm a level 81 with 1280ish Skill Total and my highest level is 77 Firemaking as of right now (Will be 80 in a short while and then on to 99!).
  23. This has to be brought back up. It's an amazing goal that is being done. Let's hear it for him!
  24. I believe that the system is fine. They could throw in a few more things to make crafting between Dragon Hides and the level 40 things easier. Otherwise I have no complaints.
  25. There are many problems with Firefox and Java. One is that it mutes the sound and jumbles letters. To fix this I simply surf with Firefox and play Runescape with IE. Many sites are geared only towards IE as it's the majority holder of the internet browsers. Many secure sites will require you to use IE instead of Netscape or those using its engine. Simply open two browsers, one Firefox and one IE, one to surf one to play.
