  1. Well put, simple but effective. I think that if we listened to neogeo here we might get over the "ZOMG Jagex messed upz0rz again!" feeling that most are displaying on the forums.
  2. Yeah it's always been like that. Now I have a question in regards to ents. I've noticed that I seem to stop chopping the tree when it becomes an ent. Is this purposeful or just incredible(and lucky) coincidences?
  3. No, not really. I do enjoy seeing the smaller updates. Generally they're something unique that adds flavor to the game. Such as whilst I was burning logs earlier today I was wielding a rubber chicken and I noticed that my arm was moving around a bit. But as I looked closer it was not my arm that was moving differently it was the rubber chickens neck! It now wobbles whilst you walk. That's something unique and shows that Jagex wants to show some detail or flavor in their game.
  4. Microsoft Word is in no way a final stamp of approval on Grammar or word order. It makes it's fair share of mistakes, ask your English teacher when you're writing a report and he is around you and you have a "grammar" mistake. It's possible to be wrong (very possible).
  5. We need some designated worlds or at least worlds that are understood as designated for certain team-oriented events. Everyone knows about World 2 and the Temple Building bit, World 66 and the Fast Free Law Co., at one point there was a world that was advertised for lower leveled players to go fight in the fight pits (Which was promptly crashed by higher levels). We need them for the Cat Arena and now this game. But Castle Wars does show that many people go to Castle Wars no matter what else they can do, but will this game take away from the CW crowd? I ask you that my friends.
  6. The world of Runescape must be so different from the perspective of someone who plays durning non-peak hours. Just imagine trying to complete those team quests such as re-building the temple in Morton or trying to get to see the Daggonath Kings. But think of the benefits as well. You have few people in the mining guild on free servers and on member servers it's completely devoid of people except for on those rare servers where there are one or two people in the mine. I'd say you get a chance to do alot of those more competitive tasks with greater ease but the cons outweigh the pros as you find few people who are online with you. I've stayed up late a couple nights over spring break but I would much prefer to enjoy the company of everyone online rather than be rolling in coal but alone.
  7. Beautiful! It gave us news about Tip.it as well as the events in the game. This give the Tip.it Times an actual periodical feel to it. I enjoyed it very much! Well done Editor, well done.
  8. I could have sworn that Tip.it had some amazing plans for an item database. But besides that once I hit back to members and the command is to document our kills, Slayer here I come. We wouldn't need to kill 10,000 of each monster if many people come with their kills, that would give our average and then we all would live happily ever after... or something like that.
  9. Whilst I was trying to get things out of my bank account to make it the size of a F2P bank I stumbled across these Mithril seeds which I promptly planted and drew a crowd of people who were quite curious. Most thought it was involved with Farming. When I get back to P2P and complete Legends I'm most assuredly going to buy a whole bunch of these seeds and start planting them in some obscure places such as the Dagg Kings and the Kalphite Queens Lair.
  10. That's what Romeo and Juliet looks like nowadays? I was quite happy with just reading the text in RSC. Good times... good times.
  11. Not necessarily. What about Hans in Lumbridge? He's named but he doesn't serve a purpose really. What about all of the people in Burthrope, they're named but they serve no purpose really.
  12. We don't have any pictures from the avatar gallery. It might be interesting to see if Tip.it could get some of it's pixelists to make some though. But right now you may want to browse your computer for something that will represent you on the boards. Also next time you have a question post it on the Help and Advice Board. That's where all questions go.
  13. I love the Brimhaven arena. It's such incredible fun, especially when you have a high level agility making those Matrix-esque darts seem incredibly easy. I've met quite a few good people down there including APERSON, a member of our own Tip.it staff. APERSON gave me a hint about the Tip.it Agility Arena Interactive Map before it came out. Good times, good times.
  14. 1) That's spam 2) Did the thought pass through your thick skull that maybe those were drops? ... Blipo... he's being sarcastic, that's the author of the post. I was impressed with the graphics of the Bunny Underground. It seemed very snazzy being a bunny.
  15. Are you being honest here? Is this really how you think and what you believe? How many pieces of armor were changed during that update? About seven or eight? How many different animations are there in the game? I'd wager anywhere above two hundred. That's well over fourteen hundred animations that need to be redesigned. You made ONE 3d character, imagine making fourteen hundred alterations to a 3d model. Do you think that Runescape is designed by machines? It's designed by humans, mere mortal men who apparently cannot stand up to your own shining example of perfection. We all make mistakes once in a while. The only reason no one tore your models apart (metaphorically) is because you maybe showed them to a class or two, maybe a client. Jagex has the eyes of well over 190,000 people that are looking at their work. If Leonardo Da Vinci were to look at the Mona Lisa he would say it is one of the most amazing paintings in the world. Get a large group of people together and you're guaranteed (so long as it's a varied (in Race, Creed, and Gender) group) to find someone who will think it's bad. Don't consider yourself greater to someone (in this case a company) when they make a mistake on a project far greater than anything you've ever undertaken.
  16. The tags need to be lower case. That's really all I have to say. Edit: woot 600th post!

Dangit! You beat me too it. But yes indeed, firemaking is truly the best one. What is more tedious and less productive than firemaking? Nothing. When you get 99 firemaking you've joined an elite class of gentlemen (and some women) that have spent their time chopping and burning (but primarily the burning) wood. Thank Goodness for 99 Firemaking.
  18. I've been playing F2P for now and this is where all my information coming from. But logicing it out I would say it must be mostly on F2P because when you've got a P2P character it generally is your "Main" so you wouldn't need to brag about your current characters stats (although many people do). But please someone correct me if I'm wrong. I also wonder if you (previously "we") P2Per's get the occasional braggart or not.
  19. You're going to need to raise up your stats a bit more than just to the sixties. If your sig is up-to-date than you'll need to do some more killing before you'll survive all too long, but I like to go well more than prepared. If you feel confident enough to beat them then go for it, if not don't do it. It's all your opinion.
  20. I think you can do the event where ever there used to be a rabbit hole. Has anyone checked up at the Fremminek area by the swaying tree (the one that you cut to make your lyre). It was swarming with rabbits before so it'll probably have them there as well. Notice how no kids are there though, so you can't really do the event unfortunately.
  21. You need to host the file on a website such as Imageshack or Photobucket and then take the URL of it and put it inbetween tags. What's the "Fishing Pass"? I've never heard of this.
  22. Why? It's their game, they could make all of us have pony tails and skip when we walk if they wanted to. We have no control over the game and even if some people wanted to "organize" a boycott of the game, they still draw in more and more new players every day and not everyone agrees that something looks fine. To everyone whining about the new look of SOME items: Let the end justify the means. When we see the new animations you'll say "Gee whilikers! That sure was worth having my chainmail be changed". Not everyone was happy with RS2 Graphics but we still are playing on it because we've gotten used to it. If the game is now so unbareable to you because of these minute (pronounced my-newt) then stop playing the game we could use a few less people crying about everything Jagex does to make THEIR game better. If Jagex thinks something is bad than they'll fix it. Why not try sending them a message expressing your concern over their recent changes. If you point out some problems perhaps they'll "improve" upon it from your ideas. But it's likely you're not going too because some of us can only complain about something when it's bad and do nothing about it. That is called being a follower, why not try taking a step up and lead your own life instead of following the mob mentality
  23. Make mine sunny side up! But anyways we need to hold an event in the Bunny Underground. Just think hundreds of bunnies in a line just walking around. T'would be awesome.
  24. It seems like everyone who killed monsters with their Slave got an amazing drop. I'm just waiting for someone who got a left half shield from a zombie with their slave. I've been enjoying these threads, they need to be compiled into some Official part of Tip.it as a reference for future slave auctions (in regards to how much fun you can have). P.S. That wasn't too long of a read
  25. Any particular reason why? Did something personal happen, did you get scammed out of items, choose a poor investment, died with all of your items? Normally when we see "Good bye" thread we get a story to help us appreciate what we have and help give you our condolences.
