Kwimbob basically said the right thing above. You've also got to think about the rest of Runescape and all of the members who are mid-way with their stats. Not all of us have 70+ in Combat stats. They have to think about all of the other players and what will make them happy, hence the number of quests that are mid ranged in the skills department. Now having lowish requirements for the quest doesn't mean it can't be good. It could have a good theme going along with it that ties other quests together. Plus I'd rather have a medium leveled quest that helps raise my skills rather than force me to fight a King Black Dragon. But of course that is of personal preference and I must remind you of how everyone is different and not everyone will be happy with Jagex's updates so you must suffer through them until they release something you like.

Cabbage Picking Marathon! (Over) Results on page 3
tefda replied to Sledge's topic in General Discussion
Saw the video, very touching. To belong to a group that has existed for years upon years and be there when they finally reach a long standing goal must have been an immense feeling I know that I would have gotten shivers (It's my Spidey-Sense for emotional Moments) on that last Millionth Cabbage. Was it just me or was the date wrong at the end of the flick? I'm pretty sure it was the 25th (Saturday the 25th not the 26th) but I could be wrong about the end of the film. Also can rapidshare take Zipped files? I would suggest using WinZip to compress them next time you upload a file that most everyone will want to see. -
WAH! Didn't your computer lock up at all? That means there were 60 guys on the screen! I'm pretty sure I could only fire one or two shots before they completly swamped me. Good job and Welcome to Tip.it!

I am neither Hindu or Buddhist so I'm not the number one expert on Karma but I'm pretty sure it's not something you have to "watch out" for. Thanks to Wikipedia I would have to say that Karma is there to teach you a lesson and not for you to live in fear of your actions but that each action has a consequence whether good or bad. Do not fear Karma as it is necessary and impossible to avoid, know that you should both do good for the sake of doing good and for the possible benefit of doing good (for us Christians it's going to heaven which isn't too bad of a deal  ). One more thing, it's more so Irony that whilst you were talking about how you never die you did actually die. That's Ironic.

Looks very good and it seems that you've learned from past experiences (In regards to the wilderness aspect). Good job guys! Sounds like a blast.

Throne Of Micellania: Do u collect your goods?
tefda replied to x_bow80's topic in General Discussion
I'm pretty sure no one has a high opinion of Miscellania. It's basically where old people go to play shuffleboard. Nothing exciting or worthwhile happens up there. Many people have found that the rewards are not sufficient enough for them and it's very true. Although I have never found any real research about the island (no one has spent a month having a good reputation and keeping the coffers well stocked) so I believe that our information is not legitimate. Perhaps it gets better over time and we need only keep up a good reputation and pay our people well and then we will get grand rewards. But until someone find the patience to do so we may never know. I think Jagex really needs to rethink this whole kingdom bit perhaps make it more powerful and more engaging by giving your greater control over the politics and interaction with neighboring islands/tribes/civilizations. An expansion is on the way as the Northern Lands are due for release some time soon (they're expanding every where so why not in that direction?). -
That's what i'm wondering :? Makes three of us. Fourth. But besides that many people are complaining about the game. You simply need to be secure in the fact that you are playing the game for playing the game and not to "buy a yellow partyhat". Be happy with that and consort with those who want to do the same. If you can try to convince the "level 6"'s to learn to play the game by actually playing it and not focusing on money making. Edit: w00t 500th post!

The Elven Forest. It's really amazing there the graphics are stunning in comparison to the rest of the world and it has a history, that's an untouched land. The God Wars left it unscarred unlike the Desert. Also it may be the fact that it is truly difficult to gain access to there. I enjoy being able to spend time just roaming around it knowing that I've accomplished someting.

Ooh! That's actually a really good question! It would make sense that he would take the pies but Jagex may have not thought this through. Try using a pie on him and if it doesn't work then report it to Jagex. If it does work be sure to tell the Tip.it Community and then have them update the quest guide you may even get credited for it. Good question but it still belongs in the Help and Advice Board.

I thought they took this out of the game??
tefda replied to shadow_Fox99's topic in General Discussion
They are "dolls" in which you can pull strings on to make them dance or walk, etc. They were given to us (well we did have to work for them) during the last Christmas season holiday event along with various hats and scarfs. To Shadow Fox: Next time can you crop your photo a notch or two? It stretches out messages and it makes it slightly more difficult to read the thread. Not a demand, simply a personal request. -
Come on guys, I'm pretty sure that this was a serious discussion, not everything on the forums have to be senseless jokes. Why not actually try to discuss a topic and your opinion on it and not make sarcastic remarks (not to pick on you Sweendog but you were the last one I saw).

New Stall In Cooking Guild *it Could Be Useful*
tefda replied to Vinne's topic in General Discussion
Same as the cooking guild  But besides that it's good that some one mentioned this. You may want to throw it into the Website Updates section as the Cooking Guild Page does not have this updated. You could get credit for it. -
A 3rd eye...I need constrctive cristizm...Spelling? lol
tefda replied to Necromancer_Magic's topic in Art and Media
Looked very smooth and so I thought of Macromedia as well :). Looks good, very cartoony. If he were a bit more friendly you could almost make a Flash Series out of him. -
Glad you guys are enjoying. Thanks to everyone who's visited, you've made that game the most popular one on my site :) I'm pretty sure it's my favorite too.

Carpentry is most assuredly going to be a skill. I think it would be better if it were a part of Crafting (as I'm low crafting (52+ish) and am always looking for an easy way to level up that skill). But otherwise all we can really speculate about is that it will involve teak and mahogany logs as they have been cited as commonly used for furniture and I assume some other trees will also be used (oak furniture, is there any willow furniture?) Carpentry will be released when Player owned Houses are released and will probably only be used as a show off skill as I doubt you can really profit off of it (Selling Teak Chair 100k!!! ). Not much is set in stone as Jagex has released very little about the skill and Player Owned Houses but we do know they're coming eventually (My guess is during the summer as they know that is when their demographic has the most free time).

Yes it's true that it was there at one point or another but because of the current update we should go off what is the most current statement about what they say so from the Knowledge Base we can see that there are No official fan sites. Therefore we won't be seeing an official link from Runescape.com anytime soon or ever probably (Too much of a liability what if someone attacks Tip.it and everyone goes to Tip.it for help, then many people would hold Jagex accountable for what happened even if they put some disclaimer as most sites do for external links).

The purpose of having an online girlfriend is somewhat odd but as HaMMerTjE said it is possible as you can grow to have interest in this other persons life. Surely love can be stimulated over the internet through online chats, because most real relationships are started through conversations of a common link. What is more common between a man and a woman who are playing a game than the game they are playing. So I suppose Runescape is a decent place to find a woman that would have similar interests with you and more than likely around your age. Keep in mind that this is still a game in which your gender can be changed at the drop of a hat. Some caution must be exerted because of the internet predators that exist out there. A more spiritual connection must be made than simply lambasting "Rich d00d wanting gf!" all across the air waves. With the two girlfriends that I've had (In reality) I've found it better that they are away from me while I'm doing something in which I need to focus. When I had had a girlfriend I would have to a somewhat different person, I would have to be "On" as most would say. While Runescape I would want to focus and be "off" and not have to be putting on airs and discussing a relationship or things that aren't related to Runescape. So having a girlfriend online, even if it were a deeper connection than a quick pick up, would be bothersome as she would interfer with what relaxation time I would have as I would need to devote my time to her. Never have a relationship (even if friendly) with someone who openly changes their identity (gender) just to accquire free stuff or "mess" with people (I mean that they want to mess around with the victims head). They are simply there to toy with other peoples emotions. Only commit to someone if you know that they are someone you would want (not are willing to but you actually desire this) to spend time with and have an actual relationship. So however "Pa-the-tic" this relationship is really is determined by the means of how she became your girlfriend. If you had been training together for some time and have a deep personal conversation every day (or every other day) than that is an alright relationship and we should respect that. If you picked her up in the middle of Varrock by one of you two saying that you wanted a "Bf" or "Gf" than it's far less likely that people will respect it and it's more likely that that relationship will never turn out to be anything good. :)

Sorry for kind of following you around but here's a quick link about Fansites and other Websites that was in the knowledge base. http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... cat_id=135

To some of us that's a major loss. You can always continue your character. If you were able to gather up items of that worth than you can do it again. I'm sure you'll come back and you'll realize that you can still play. So long as the game is still fun for you than you can play. Just ask the OoC.

Hmm... There is a quote button in the upper right hand corner of each post. You don't have to copy and past people's text. All you need to do is hit the "quote" button in their post and then try to keep it minimal if it's a huge thing keep it to the first paragraph or key points. Besides that Welcome to Tip.it Forums! Be sure you participate in all of our fun activities and events.

Uh... I'd go with whichever one you've got a higher skill total on or whichever one you use the most. I think Pures should really just stick to F2P but that's my opinion. For future reference use the Help and Advice board for questions.

Where in the world did these people get my email?!?!?!
tefda replied to Waffleh's topic in General Discussion
It's best if you turn off your email address from being displayed and for security precautions turn your Email provider's preferences to text only that way nothing can touch you (all images (and files) become attached files in which you can choose to view or not). -
I'm going to have to agree with Adam up there. It's probably some uncomplete bit of code that was intended for all weapons. It's most likely for a quick access to your combat level (just in case you don't check it in the stats page). But I could be wrong.

One and only One Bump for me. I hope you guys enjoy the game. I'm planning my next game and it will be out on April 15th or 16th. Until then!

Thanks for the major shot back up and compliment! I hope everyone else has found this guide to be useful. Keep on mining!
