  1. same. Took me a few years though... every time I tried I went off balance after 2 seconds, then one day it magically clicked and I could do it!
  2. I liked it because it was original and summed up all the events of Runefest into one article. Before the article I had only picked up on little snippets of information about runefest, that's why I was looking foward to this one.
  3. Ns, the runefest article was the best article I've read this year. :) And LOL at the video! You just kinda awkwardly walked up there and gave it to him without a word, haha.

I'm not going to start diving into this arguement, but after readng through the whole thread I can say that I mostly agree with Zygimantas on his viewpoints. I think I was suicidal once when I was 15. It was an absolutely horrible feeling.
  5. Ns didn't you say you were going to write a Times on this event? Or am I just imagining you said that? Also, LOL if you actually handed out the cabbage. Epic. Also, vids of you handing out cabbage please? :)
  6. WaW was just... amazing. I don't know why people thought Treyarch was a bad company in the first place.
  7. Then take "In God we trust" off all of our currency. I wouldn't want to misrepresent anybody. Well yes. That would be a logical decision.

700+ pages. Stop posting guys! This single thread might make the forums collapse in upon itself! :ohnoes:
  9. Hmm yes that is true lol. I suppose I do like him a little now ;)
  10. No but seriously how can you support Beck at all? "We are a country of God."? Well exuse me, what about the 37,000,000 atheists in America? Sometimes I think I'm the only one who truly values the freedom America has to offer. It's just too bad atheists tend to be the quiet minority.
  11. Of course he's a Fox news reporter...
  12. I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but you're really missing out. IE is the slowest mainstream browser out there, and you'll benefit from keeping your toolbar count to a minimum for the purpose of screen space and speed. Even if customisation isn't your thing, which will help with speed, you should still make the switch. Actually IE isn't bad. I did a qualitative and quantitative comparison of IE against 9 other browsers (and not on any sites related to Microsoft, mind you), and it turns out IE typically has more features than other web browsers, and is, on average, the same speed as other browsers (I actually crunched some numbers from hard data). Infact it turns out that the top five browsers (Safari, IE, FF, Chrome, Opera) are basically all the same with varying but miniscule differences. If you want an overall generally good web browser with features you expect, choose IE. If you type a lot and care about your spelling, choose Fire Fox. If you want a browser with more freedom, choose Chrome. If you want a browser with lots of features, choose Opera. If you want a browser that... welll... has nothing special about it besides a toned-down, slower IE, choose Safari. (Sorry but as it turns out, according to statistics and available features, Safari is actually quite bad)
  13. In my opinion Nomad's Requiem was one of the worst quests. There was a total lack of storyline. It seemed like Jagex just said "Hey lets just put a bunch of hard, annoying puzzles and bosses together and we'll have a quest!" I can't enjoy a challenge if there is no plot. All I knew before the fight was that nomad is evil. A little background would have been nice.

I started a conversation by spamming triforces to my stranger, it ended with us exchanging names and discovering we were both pixel artists. We shared some work. I started a conversation asking this girl what sports she liked, it ended with me giving her advise on her unexpected pregnancy and how to break the news to her boyfriend. I found out a day later she told her boyfriend. I started a conversation asking this guy his favorite cola, it ended with him admitting to me he was overweight and gay and wanted to commit suicide. Not sure if he did. I started a conversation by sharing some of my favorite alternative rock music with my stranger, it ended with her sharing some of her favorite alternative rock music with me. Lol. All true stories. Each one lasted hours.
  15. Lol these are excellent. Love them all so far. I just wish I could get on runescape and post some of my own pictures.
  16. +) Congrats mate. I know the feeling. I was accepted several months back, but I already knew I was going to get in because of automatic admission. I worked my ass off studying for SATs for like weeks, and even went to a class specifically designed to improve my SAT scores. On my third SAT I got the scores I wanted and that got me in. I'm the kind of guy who gets nervous sending in applications that won't guarantee me acceptance. I would get depressed and discouraged if I saw a decline letter. :(
  17. Ns slaves over his articles. To be honest I did account share waaaaay back in the early days of RSC. I only played RSC for 10 days when I was 8 years old, and I had a friend who convinced me that account sharing was a good thing "because everyone did it." We only shared accounts for around 5 days, then I got bored of runescape and quit. I don't even remember that account name.
  18. it all depends on your levels and what your killing. I trained my range at iron dragons.
  19. The general rule my friends and I go by is if you have 90+ range, you use void. In any other situation, you use dragonhide. Not sure if that's true, but it seems to have worked for me. On another note, void melee has been proven to have higher DPS than full bandos. Just a little fact there.
  20. I've done a few dungeons where people claim to be hardcore rushers. Here was their strategy: Put on shadow slik hood and good weapon (both of these binded, of course)and rush through the rooms and hope there aren't any mages. Ignore all monsters except mages and a few weak things like rats and bats so you can pick up their food drops. Once you find boss room, clear the room with the boss door in it, and complete the dungeon if you haven't already. Once the dungeon is complete, everyone rushes the boss, usually dying at least twice. A group of 135+s taught me this, and they let me try it with them for a few rounds. We did almost 7 minute dungeons which was insane, but in the end the exp looked pretty lousy because the level mod and deaths killed the exp multiplier. I'm not sure if its faster exp per hour though.
  21. Daemonheim is like a perfect little runescape within Gleinor. Sometimes I'm hesitant to leave the pennisula, just because I know I won't have my precious gatestone!
  22. Well, Dungeoneering was probably the big one. Not sure if your familiar with that skill. The treasure trail update was also a massive update, but not a 'major' update such as the introduction of a new skill.
  23. Don't let that praise go to your head now, silly ns.
